Hannah - thanks, thought it was the month for both of us as well! We can be TTC buddies in 2009

    Tempus - So sorry

Issy - Yah for your blood test results! You ticker looks great. Good luck with your scan

plc - Sounds like your litle bub is already preparing you for the sleepness nights! You must be very excited!

    Princess85 -

    smi -

    Big hi to everyone else

AFM - Well not only did AF show up but she is being harsh this time! Had quite heavy bleeding and clotting (sorry if TMI) and been quite painful (worried it may have been another m/c but I don't think so). To top it off I had to come home from work early today as I had gastro. Being at home by myself gave me way too much time to think.......

Had a mini breakdown tonight but feel better now. My sister had given me all these baby clothes her kids had outgrown and I have had them in the spare rooms tall boy draws since before we started trying. Well, this afternoon I packed them all away in a bag, decided they can come out again when I have a healthy baby!

Back to the FS tomorrow - bit scared about what I might hear but at the same time I am hoping to get some answers.

Smi - omg - yayayayayayayayay!! As Jen said, what an amazing Christmas present! Wishing you a h&h pg...

Issy - congrats on those amazing hcg results. So glad to hear they are doubling nicely. I hope the 8ww is kind on you - at least there's lots of distractions at this time of year And your new ticker is lovely too!

AFM - have found a new name for zen - Fetal Heart Doppler ... rented one online, received it monday and it has Saved My Sanity. After a little while hunting for bub's hb at first, can now normally find it fairly quickly and it is just so lovely and reassuring. My main problem now is limiting myself to only 1 quick listen a day. 2 more sleeps until my nt scan on Friday ...

Lots of positive vibes and to all

    xx

Jenushka: i bought a dopploer from Ebay - it cost me ?25 + p+p and it has been my lifeline! i dont think i wouldve got thru without it. i have been quite good with mine, i have a listen about 2/3 times a week, but if i could i would walk round with it permanently on my belly lol. they are a life saver!

O happy day gurlies...I am still riding on a cloud!

Issy...we are belly buddies! It is very scary...but my advice is ENJOY!

I have an u/s on January 14th...I'm excited and nervous...I asked doc for bloodwork he said nope...if there is no bleeding or pain he doesn't feel the bloodwork necessary...I'm a little peeved with that...but happy we aren't experiencing any negative stuff

Bring on the symptoms...this might sound weird but I really wish something would start...sore boobs...morning sickness...fatigue...something! I guess it's safe to say it's not multiples since I have virtually no symptoms...LOL (we are high risk...my mother is a fraternal twin and so is Lee's...not to mention age and race)

    Lord keep us healthy...

OMG.... so much to catch up on, so little time! Let's see what I can get done....

Polly, Hannah S, erybery, & Rmercimek-- I'm so very sorry for the losses of your angel babies. I'm grateful that you've all chosen this forum to share your stories of loss, your pain.... posting my story was the first step in my healing process, so I hope that it has begun to help you all heal in some small way. I look forward to getting to know all of you while on this bumpy TTC journey!

Zachary's mom-- to you, as well, hon. I'm at a complete loss for words after reading your post. I'm just so very sorry for the loss of your angel Zachary--even "sorry" just sounds so insignificant! This is something that smi sent me in an e-mail... "When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better." You're in my thoughts and prayers! Good luck with POAS on Sat!!

HannahD--Now I feel like a grumble bum... we have to wait until Feb. for this terrible year of the rat to be over??? I was hoping it was just 2008 we had to get past! So what comes after the rat? Something spectacular, I hope! *hugs*

Mel--Ah, d@mn it! So sorry to hear that not only did she show, but she's being such a biatch! Don't beat yourself up, hon... it's amazing how great our bodies become at tricking us.

issy--Those are some super dark lines on that HPT!! Glad you went and had a BT done for reassurance! Congrats on the great numbers!! Love your ticker--good for you for taking that step! for little Poppy!!

I am so very behind on persies. Don't know where to begin.

Jen - you are amazing . You never forget a person on this thread! Wish you did not have to be here but I love reading your posts. Unfailingly supportive. What would we do without you !?

Smi - OMG. Just snuck in here to try and see where everyone is at and I find you have your much longed-fore BFP.

Issy, Tam and Jenushka - thrilled everything is going so smoothly for you girls

Toccara, Mannie and Tempus - thinking of you all. Please look after yourselves

HannahD - you little sweetie. I have noticed you have been including me in lots of your posts, despite my truancy

to everyone else. Wish none of us were here

AFM - start OPK POAS today Day 10 in anticipation of BD marathon this weekend. We are a little out of practice... But will hopefully help me work of a bit of pudge I put on in our recent two months of IVF stims... Have bought some fresh pineapple for DH to munch on to help his swimmers. Tossing up whether to use the PreSeed again as the last two times I used it I fell twice but MC. Please feel free to throw any ttc tips (no matter how insane) my way.

Issy - Honey your ticker is gorgeous, and I would love to be able to tell you that the minor panic attacks will go away, but unfortunately you'll probably have a few more episodes of uncertainty. Last night I had a bad dream about my baby and totally freaked out. So much so that I've already had the doppler out this morning to have a listen to bubs heart beating strongly to put myself at ease. You'll over-analyse every symptom and worry when anything changes, but always remember to also enjoy every second. There is a little miracle inside you that loves you more than anything in the world
So glad to see that the hcg levels are doing exactly what you want them to.

Possums - My thoughts are still with you sweetness. I know how hard it was not to obsess about TTCing, so I wish you the best of luck

Babymiracles - I hope you are having fun organising your wedding. People always told me how stressful it was, but I absolutely loved organising my wedding. I didn't find it overly stressful at all. I hope you will have a beautiful day in April. My wedding was the weekend before easter this year and it was that wonderful 43 degree day over here in Melbourne. I must admit that I didn't even notice the heat, I was having too much fun!!!
Good luck with your frostie transfer!!

Zachary's Mom - I am so terribly sorry to read about the loss of your beautiful son Zachary I know how hard it was for me when we lost our angel at just over 8 weeks, so I can't even imagine the pain you felt with such a late loss. It just breaks my heart when I read stories like yours. I am glad that you are ready to TTC again and my thoughts are with you for saturday when you test. Good luck!

pbstar - Wow, it's a boy! Huge congratulations! Have you started buying up lots of baby boy things yet? Lol! My DH and I were in Pumpkin Patch the other day and I was going gaga over all the gorgeous boy and girl outfits that they had!

HannahD - Oh it's so hard when you see the joy that pregnant couples are experiencing while you are still TCCing Big hugs for you honey. Hopefully it'll be you soon that is showing off a beautiful scan photo to all your friends and family.
I hope your cousin's baby is ok. It must be very difficult for her not knowing if there is something seriously wrong with her child. Maybe she is just hoping to gain strength from you because she knows what you have been through and is proud of you...

HannahS86 - I'm terribly sorry to hear about your loss. It's such a devastating thing to happen and my heart goes out to you. Hopefully you are lucky enough to fall pregnant again quickly. Many people are extra fertile after a loss, so fingers crossed that you are one of them

Princess85 - Good luck when you decide to test. It must be so confusing having an irregular cycle and frustrating when it comes to working out when to test and if AF is late or on time. Have you thought about temping? I really enjoyed tempting and seeing the pattern that confirmed when I had ovulated.

Erybery - Hi sweetie. I'm so glad that the scan showed that your uterus lining is nice and healthy. I hope AF comes to you soon so that you can start TTCing again, and fingers crossed that first time is a charm

Rmercimek - I'm terriby sorry about your late loss sweetheart. I can't imagine the heartache that losing a child so late in pregnancy causes. Unfortunately I don't know much about how quickly your body would get back to normal after a late loss, but there is another thread for recurrent miscarriages and late losses and the girls in there might be able to help you too. I wish you the best of luck on your journey.

Smi - Oh my honey!!! I am soooooo thrilled for you!!! Lee must be over the moon as well! What a wonderful early christmas present! Oh, and it took me 4 hpt's and 3 blood tests before I truly believed that they weren't false positives Hehehe.

plc - Is little miss doing gymnastics in the middle of the night, or are you getting nervous about the 27th and it's keeping you awake? I'm so excited that you get to meet your little girl soon!!!

Mel - So sorry that AF came after you felt so pregnant It's always such a kick in the guts. I always wish that pregnancy symptoms and AF symptoms were totally different because it's so hard when you get your hopes up so high only to fall harder. Big hugs to both you and your DH.

Tempus - Oh sweetheart, it's just so unfair! Mollycat is right, even us lurkers have you in our thoughts. My heart goes out to you.

Jenushka - How wonderful are the fetal heart dopplers?! We bought ours on ebay and even though it says you can hear the heartbeat from 12 weeks, we heart our little darling's heart beating strong at 11 weeks and 2 days. I love having it for peace of mind when I start to have one of those freak-out days. Now that I have sometimes started feeling the baby kick I'll probably not use it very often, but I still love that sound! Good luck at you NT scan! Fingers crossed that bubs is naughty and un-cooperative at first so you get to see bubs on the screen longer, but that then you get some nice measurements taken

Fificlaire - I'd keep the doppler headphones on 24/7 too if I could, lol! I tend to have a listen once or twice a week for about 20 seconds each time. Probably way over cautious, but I'm paranoid about everything hehe.

Tam - My moto at the start of the pregnancy was that worrying about something happening wouldn't stop something from happening. So I tried to only focus on the positives. Having said that, I was secretly paranoid the whole time (still am half the time, lol)! Just remember to enjoy every moment. And fingers crossed that you are one of the lucky ones who only has a short period of morning sickness that is already leaving you!

WTH - Bring on the BD marathon for you! I'm a little out of the loop at the moment... Are you and DH trying a natural cycle this month? If so, I hope it brings you a lovely christmas miracle! I think I was a christmas baby, lol.
Oh, hmmmm.... insane TTC tip?... How's the weather in NSW? Warm enough for a naughty TCCing romp on the beach? It may not be a proven TTCing technique, but you never know!

And my beautful Jen Jen - Oh how I miss you! You are in my thoughts always, and even though your temp has dipped a little, I am never going to give up until AF rears her fatty-fatty-fat-face. I hope you are looking after yourself and feeling much better. Does school finish soon and give you a bit of a break? You are a workaholic missy!!! Biggest hugs and kisses for you

Oh, and I've started to feel the baby kick every now and then! I'd heard it was like bubbles or flutters, but not with this little bubs, lol. The only way I can describe it is the feeling you get when you run your tongue along the inside of your cheek, and if you poke your cheek with your tongue. Just really soft, lol. Absolutely amazing though.

KrystieLove - what a wonderful big post you just put together! I have been watching your ticker grow whenever I pop in You sound so happy. I am so glad it is working out for you!! As you know, I had 3 MC's after naturally TTC No.2. Two were confirmed as trisomies, so we thought we would try IVF with PGD. Just had our first cycle, only one to transfer and it was a BFN. We are booked in again for Jan, but, seeing as we managed a "normal" emby, and my growing follies have two nice months of FSH stims in me (had a cancelled cycle as well), we thought we might give it a shot this month. Call me crazy, but it is the silly season. So desperately want to be UTD again! Quite looking forward to the roll in the hay te he he The whole IVF thing is a bit of a turn-off so it has kinda been a while...

Hello ladies! I hope you are all doing well this evening. For all of you who are pregnant again (sorry, still working on learning names), CONGRATS!!! It makes me so happy to read such great news! Always praying for your little ones and wishing you all the best of luck in the months ahead.

For those of you who have had a loss, my heart goes out to you. I am so very sorry. It's so unfair. I will keep you in my prayers.

It seems like the doppler would be very reassuring, but I could only imagine how terrifying it would be if you couldn't find the heartbeat right away. It seems that all of you have had a positive experience though, so it seems like a good idea to have one.

AFM, DH and I are entering the TWW. If we didn't get our miracle this month, AF will likely show up on Christmas. That is not the gift I am hoping for! I am trying not to stress too much, but I'm not doing a very good job with that. It always lifts my spirits when I come to this board. You ladies are wonderful.

Mel - Hi TTCO9 buddy! Sorry AF is being hard on you. Its bad enough she show up uninvited, she could at least go easy on you. Hope the FS has some answers for you.

jenushka - Glad you have found some peace of mind with the doppler.

smi - Can't wait to hear all about that heartbeat on the 14th of Jan.

jen - Chinese New Year is a little earlier next year (Jan 26). Next year is the Year of the Ox. I haven't looked into what the ox actually symbolises, but I like to think its a strong symbol for healthy, sticky bubs. Glad you're feeling better. Sending lots of . It ain't over 'til she shows.

tam - Christmas shopping is great way to take your mind off things (I hope).

WTH - The only TTC tip I have is to have fun! And goodluck.

Krystie - Thanks for the hug. I can't believe you're 17 weeks already. Almost halfway. And woo hoo for baby kicks.

HannahS - Hoping the witch doesn't show

tempus, toccara, mannie and ruthie - Thinking of you all

AJC - for a safe delivery.
