Coco - omg your post about the ugly undies and what FF shoudl really say made me laugh so hard! i'm really sorry to hear AF showed up. Stupid witch. I was really hoping your were gonna give us some good news. <sigh> what a bummer
SPF - what is it with the insensitive friends? I mean i know if you've not been through it it is hard to know what it's like but come on people have some common sense. Watch what you are saying around people who have gone through something hard and are hurting. i had to go through something similar a month after my m/c. I went over to a friends house for a girls afternoon. A few girls had just announced their pregnancies and i told them i had just had a m/c. They then sat around for an hour gushing about their pregnancies while i sat there trying not to cry. it was horrible. I bawled all the way home.
Emmy - Kind of funny to hear you are happy to have found a spot, i'm glad though and I hope your surgery goes really well and that you do end up with twins. That'd be so cool. I'm a twin so I would have loved to have twins the first time around but i'm so glad i got my DS instead. Now that I have one child i think i'd be terrified if i found out i was having twins, it'd be overwhelming
Mathew's mom - Oh so close to testing, i can't wait to hear how it goes. All my fingers and toes are crossed for you.
bookworm - oh how scary. i hope your mom is feeling better really soon
crafty - how rude of your friend! I'd be upset by that comment as well. It's kind of nice she's worried baout you but what a horrible way to word it, and frankly it's none of her business if you want ot have more children or not. I don't think you're too old. My Aunt had a baby at 44 and everything went just fine. I hope your TWW ends in good news
Snuggly - yeah I did end up posting in the bellybuddies thread. i was hoping the excitement of the others would help with my nervousness. It's pretty empty in there right now, I would really love it if a bunch of you lovely ladies could join me. I'm really hoping you get that BFP
Elise - thanks, i'll definitley be lurking for awhile, at least until I'm more sure this one's gonna stick. I also need to stick around to make sure the rest of you get BFps too.
AFM - Getting better. DH is sick now though and a bit on the grumpy side. He's not one to show much outward excitment (except maybe when he's watching the hockey game) but his reaction to my PG announcement (though fully expected) was nonetheless dissapointing. I got my 2yo DS to run in to the kitchen and tell him "mommy pregnant" (I thought it was so cute) and all i got was 'Oh is she now" and he kept making breakfast. I asked him if he was excited and i got a lame "yep". I had to call my sister right after that to get the excited response I was looking for. He says he's waiting until we're out of the woods to get excited, but even then I know he won't show it. Is anyone elses other half liek this?
