    Hi coco

I started taking Vitex about 4-5 wks ago and I take 1 tablet a day in the morning and will take all through my cycle until I get a BFP then I will stop taking it. After my mc in sept I didn't have a proper AF and was spotting brown on and off all the time and no ovulation, Started the Vitex and within 5 days got a AF and nice and red not too heavy but a definate AF lasting 3 days, Then using the opk sticks from day 11 I found I ovulated earlier than I would have thought got a LH surge on day 12 and a definate mucusy thing on day 13 so didn't miss the vital good days, so for me its worked really well I am 44 though and needed a bit of a kick to get my cycle back to normal after a D&C, The only problem I had is after 2wks taking it I had a really bad headache and dizzy spells and nausea for like 5 days none stop but | was taking pro natal as well and discovered on the net it can make you feel ill to take both together, So I stopped the pro natal and take the folic acid tablet instead and its great no more headaches, I am now on the TWW and only have 6 days left till testing ! So for me I say take the vitex its like magic !

I am too curious about how the natropath went Coco. I have considered seeing one but still not sure what to do. Do I put my money into that and possibly loose money or keep it for IVF? Thats my dilema. But then if it worked potentially I'd say heaps. Sorry to hear AF arrived Coco. Wish it was a BFP instead for you. Your FB message was so true and something all those having difficulties ttc could relate too.
My AF arrived in full force at lunch I was beginning to worry I had another ectopic after the bleeding was exactly like my ectopic bleeding combined with late AF. Maybe I should take vitex also.
Not a tatoo person but I have been thinking more and more about getting something like a tiny angel or pegasus maybe on my toe to represent all my looses. But at the moment I don't want people asking about what it was etc so not sure what to do.
Hope everyone else is going well. to read some more BFP.

TwinSis, give DH some time, since men don't express their feelings openly. He might be nervous about starting the process again, with the prior loss.

AFM, I talked to my mom on the phone today, and it's not a definite diagnosis for sarcoidosis. It's one of the possibilities, and they're running tests to narrow things down. Hopefully they have the real reason soon so they can make a treatment plan. I didn't get up early enough today to get to the hospital to see her before work. I'm not sure how picky the staff will be, either, since they were out of regular beds and she's in the intensive care unit. Not that she needs intensive care, but winter is getting going this far north and lots of respiratory bugs are making the rounds.

Coco-I think i mentioned before we tried for 4 months to get pregnant then went on vitex 2 tablets in the morning then fell pregnant next month my best friend tried for 18 months then went on liquid vitex and fell pregnant 2 months later i found it helped my PMS not so sooky and i swear by it now i was back on it one month and it leveled out my hormones and lowered my high estrogen and increased my low progesterone so i could start my ivf i was taking liquid vitex last month and stopped day of AF as FS said it might muck up my BT results but she said vitex is great for helping women with cycle issues and infertility the only side effect i have is i normally have a really high sex drive but on vitex i am not as h##ny but still want it at least every other day my DH doesnt mind it gives him a rest .

hello to everyone i have been at work all day so just a quick post.

AFM-had 2nd injection today all going well starting to feel a dull ache in my ovaries i hope that is normal it is not painfull i can just feel it.

    Hi ladies

Wow! Thank you so much for your answers!

The natropath I spoke to said that the vitex would be perfect for me given that I was diagnosed with oestrogen so therefore have a predominantly oestrogen driven hormone cycle..

She said that I should take 2 between 7-8am as that is when the pituitary gland is at it's peak in processing the hormonal chages throughout the cycle.

Also said that the hormones should balance so that the risk of miscarriage due to a hormone imbalance would minimise greatly. I can give you all the number of the natropath I called if you like? I called the company help line and they had the natropath on hand. She was just AMAZING.

I can't remember what ese she said but if i think of it ill tell you. Thanks xx

    Hi all,

I am still lurking here, just not really posting.
Ferrals - how exciting that all is going to plan for you!!
Hi and hugs to everyone else, i can't remember all the posts to do personals!

AFM - had a down day yesterday, realised i would have been 32 weeks pregnant and just wanted to cry all day. Feeling better today just still have that niggling "why me" going through my head. Trying to push it away though, as its not going to get me anywhere now , is it? I know all you girls understand! CD13 here, have already stsrted the BD'ing as this month we have decided to take the "quantity not quality" approach...hahaha. We are just going to do it as much as we can and see if that works!!!! As you can imagine, DH is not complaining! I figure we've tried everything else so why not!!!!
Hope everyone is well and happy!! xx

Sparkles - Good luck with all the BDing. Make sure poor DH does not get dehydrated LOL

Coco- I fell pregnant twice right after starting Vitex. After my M/C I kept taking it but after a few months of no luck I stopped, and the first month off it I fell PG. Go figure. I do think it will help. It got rid of my PMS too.

Ferrals - sounds good so far, I'm so interested to follow your progress.

Bookworm - yeah, I know I need to give him time. It's just a bit annoying that he's so reserved with his excitement yet when the Canucks score he's jumping around whooping it up.

Emmy - Oh that's so funny, I was toying with the same idea. I wanted to get a cherry blossom on my toe. I even went down there to make an appt but they were closed for a month so I put the idea on the back burner for now.

craftymummy - hope the vitex did the trick. My eyes will be glued to this spot for the next 6 days

MathewsMum & Snuggly - sorry about the BFN, it's not over just yet though. i got a BFN and then 2 days later a BFP so you never know.

Hi to everyone else that I have missed.

I'm sitting here trying to decide what to do. There is an H1N1 vaccination clinic tomorrow and we have had a lot of school closures in the area so I had wanted to go. Up until now I was not eligible as I'm not high risk but they now have the unadjuvanted vaccine for PG women and I'm allowed to go if I want......but then I read online that a lot of women miscarried after the vaccines so now I'm scared to go. There are serious risks if I get the virus and serious risks if I get the vaccine. I can't win!

Coco-high estrogen can make you ovulate early and it can make your 2nd half of cycle progesterone level low which can cause m/c my E2 was 360 last month and 187 this month thank's to vitex the FS said they like it between 100 and 150 so mine is still a fraction high but ok my natropath said liquid vitex works better as it is absorbed faster i was taking 2.5ml is taste terrible but it worked.

Sparkles-we all have our down days they are hard but they do get less as time goes on i found after Abbi's due date came and went i felt better because it was like i was waiting for it and counting how many weeks i would be ect but now i got past the worst of it i feel a lot better i hope you do to.

Twinsis- its a hard decision to make i feel if the bub is healthy and ment to be you will be ok when i was pregnant i got whooping cough so bad i broke rib's coughing i also had surgery then got a knee infection and pretty much caught everything when i was pregnant and Abbi diddn't want to budge she was happy were she was but when you are pregnant your immune system isnt so good so you can catch everything that is going around if i were you talk to your doctor and them make a decicion.

AFM-had my 3rd injection this morning then went for BT waiting for results to see if everything is ok and i can keep going.

Sorry, it seems rude to just come and post about myself when I haven't been very active in the conversations. I do read the posts most days but I don't say much as it just feels I have said all this before.

I had no idea what day to test this month as I seem to have lost a regular cycle. Because I wanted to take some medication not recommended for pregnancy I tested on Monday and Tuesday and got BFN's both times. I started having cramps yesterday so I figured AF was coming. This morning when I was shopping I just didn't feel right. Not exactly nauseous but something close to that so I bought some more pregnancy tests and took one when I got home. I got a very faint BFP but I can't say I feel happy, in fact I felt so sad that I cried. Last time I was pregnant I got the faint BFP like this and it never really got any darker and then I lost the baby just on six weeks. Because this is only faint I fear the same thing is going to happen again. I am going to really try and not test until next Monady and hope like hell to get a dark line.

Sammy congrats on the BFP. More then likely your not due for AF yet hence the faint line. I am sure when you test in a few days time it will be nice and dark. you have a sticky bean.
Me I am this is my last AF before a BFP. I wont be that lucky but gee its so nice to know there is that possibility unlike the last two cycles. So I am happy right now
Ferrals goodluck. Hopeing the news is fantastic and its all steam ahead for this cycle for you.

Sammy no don't be sad, be happy, it's probably just too early for a dark line. My tests are still pretty faint too. Your test will get darker! Congrats on your BFP. I hope to see you in Belly Buddies next week when your line is nice and dark.

    Congratulations Sammy.
I understand that it is so hard to get excited yet but it will come. The line will get darker and darker this time. Try to stay positive and i wish you all the best for the next 8 months.

Wow 2 BFP's this week.... Keep 'em coming!!!

AFM - Just a little update. Everything is still going along nicely. I;ve had no more spotting for the past 2ish weeks. Im now 13 weeks and having my next scan on Christmas Eve. Hoping to find out the gender and going to have the ultrasound lady write it on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope for dh and i to open Christmas day.

Hi sammy good to hear you have a BFP.

I had my BT got the results my E2 has gone up to 907 so i have to start my orgalutran injections aswell as my puregon to stop me ovulating it is a bit early will be day 4 of stimming the earliest i had heard of was day 5 so i will need about 6 or 7 of those at $90 a needle very expensive i am a bit worried that i will have a lead follicle to big and that will cancel the cycle i have a u/s and BT on monday so i wont know until then.

    Sammy, congrats!

Sparkles, I'm sorry you've had a tough day. Sending a hug your way.

inSis, I had to chuckle at your description of living with hockey fandom. I'm wondering if there's some way you can link pregnancy and hockey to get his interest, but no ideas are coming to mind. DH and I both enjoy the sport, but don't have cable TV and work late. There's an ECHL team in Salt Lake City, but it's definitely minor league stuff.

ferrals, good luck with the process, I'm hoping it all cooperates this time around.

AFM, I'm wondering if timing is going to cooperate this month, as it's O week. I'm hoping things work out, as my OB wants me to see an infertility specialist if we're not pregnant by January. It'd be less hassle to have it all happen naturally.

maddison - glad to hear all is going well. Nice idea to find out eh sex on Christmas Day. We've decided not to find out but I still like your idea.

ferrals - I'm on pins and needles for you!

Bookworm - Yeah maybe I should have taken him to a hockey game and had it announced on the big screen huh? LOL Good luck in catching your egg this week. Hoping you can avoid the FS if possible.

Not much going on here. I skipped the vacc clinic today in favour of waiting until after I talk to my Dr on Thursday. I"m pretty sure I'm not going to get it though.
