Mummyof4-the next step is another BT tomorrow and U/S then if all good i should trigger sat night and egg pick up monday morning it all depends on my estrogen levels tomorrow if they are still good then yippee we will make it to the next step if my estrogen is way up then they will cancel.
And i dreaded the events that i had to attend and the births of all those babies around me but i did get through it i diddnt think i would cope but i had a cry and was ok i still try to avoid things that are painful but i am doing pretty good we talk about abbi all the time so she will never be forgotten and my DH brought me a glass christmas ball with an angel inside of it and he had Abbi's name ingraved on it so every year at christmas she is with us and remembered and loved these little things we do make it so much easier.
Mathewsmum-i have had people say i am not the happy bubbly person i used to be and life goes on blah blah blah i tell them when they have held there dead child in the arms and had to deal with the fact that i had to make that choice to do that to her and then to find out we might never have a healthy baby together then they can comment on how long i should take to grieve and how long it should take for me to be my old self again and that i dont think i will ever be the same again but until they have been through it then they can keep their comments to themselves.
Craftmummy & elislouise-fingers crossed for your BFP .
ferrals that's a nice idea about the christmas ornament, might have to copy your idea
sounds like your ivf is going well so far, hope there will be a few more eggs ready when you need them to be.
eliselouise85 you must be a very strong willed person to not have tested yet. i keep coming on here expecting to see your bfp!
~mummyof4~ must be hard for you, but you need to wait! could you get a blood test done to get the result sooner?
craftymummy9 hang in there, hope you get a bfp soon.
Matthew's Mum i think you are right there, that this affects us all more than people can imagine, and will do for the rest of our lives. i was talking to a friend at work who m/c 10 years ago and she still thinks about it even now. i don't think i will ever be the same person i was before the m/c.
afm i think the tablets are working, along with the vitex and general mutivitamins i take i'm up to 10 tablets a day. sounds crazy. just need to get that af back.
on another note, one of my work friends invited me to a party next weekend, the only thing is another one of her friends (who i used to work with) will be there. she is due when i was supposed to be, and i just cannot go because i don't want to see her. i think i am being totally irrational but i know the mood i am in i will burst into tears if i see her
Just a quick note to say that AF made her grand entrance yesterday so my HPTs were obviously false BFP or my eyes were playing tricks on me. Just the lead up to this AF was different, more cramping than normal, boobs sorer for longer (and both not just my left). Oh well... next time. I was alright until DH rang me at work and told me what he just found in the bin in the bathroom. I think he was actually more upset than I was so he went out and bought me some ovulation stick things! It was so sweet.. he said he wanted to do something to help me. Will start on 100mg Clomid on Monday and if that doesnt help.... off to another FS who can hopefully me more.
Ferrals... great news!
Mummyof4... WAIT! Good things come to those that wait! But I'm like you... if it's in the house I've got to use it!
SnugBug.... do you need someone to carry your bags? I'll make myself free if you do!
And to those in the TTW.... fingers crossed that this month is your month!
I agree with SPF and Matthew's Mum.... the pain hidden behind a M/c never ends... I tell people I am fine but deep down it really hurts.
mummyof4 I am a serial POAS-er so I can relate to how you are feeling. Just think that the chances of you getting a BFP if your pregnant before 11-12DPO are unlikely so don't let a BFN get you down when you are 6DPO. Save you test till another few days in which time if your UTD a HPT is more then likely going to show a BFP then a BFN if you are pregnant. This will sound silly but can you get your oldest child to hide your test until a certain day. I find the urge to POAS is not that great if I don't have any tests but when I have tests I can help but pee on them. Problem is at the moment I have about 20tests so I am not going to run out before the end of the year.
Looppylouie sorry to hear AF came. Hope this new cycle brings you your BFP just intime for Christmas.
scarypinkfairy I find it hard seeing people who are pregnant when I was pregnant with them or who I was trying with. Half them have had babies now and the other half are pregnant. Its a horrible feeling.
Well the Gyno phoned and we had a good chat about my surgery yesterday. He asked me if I was interested in IVF if I don't get pregnant and I said definately. I was thinking he was going to advise me to start but then he said I should not rush into IVF. I asked him when should we consider it if another pregnancy doesn't occur he said not to leave it more then 1yr with no pregnancy before then. So we are staying with our plan of 6months before seeing anyone again and by the time the waiting lists come it will be 12months anyway.
But He sounded confident that it will happen if we are patient lol he said he was very surprised I haven't been pregnant more often since we started trying and looking inside the tube appears to be working well. He said the fimbrai (?spelling) looked healthy and the outside tube looked ok and the dye flowed through easily. He did say he didn't know what the inside was like (the hairs that carry the emby down the tube) he said if they are damaged then the risk of another EP is higher but he can't tell if they are or not so if the rest of the tube looks ok hopefully that means the hairy things are ok also.
So over all I am very happy with the prognosis and it was better then we were both expecting. Now we just hope to enjoy BD and wait patiently until we get another BFP. Try and enjoy it when it does happen and not worry ridiculously about a repeat EP.
So now I am hoping my vag heals quickly and we can BD around O time. Then there will be a chance of a BFP for my Christmas present. Its not likely but its lovely to have hope again that it could happen. So I am happy at the moment.
afternoon all,Craftymummy-how are you doing?did you test today or is my memory failing me?...Eliselouise-fingers still crossed for you...Mummyof4-i know it's hard, try to resist(keep telling yourself it is just to early),fingers crossed for a bfp in about a week's time...Ferrals-your ornament sounds beautiful, sweet of dh.We have baubles with our names on them.i'm going to get one with Matthew's name on it too...scarypinkfairy-I don't think your being irrational, you need to do what is best for you emotionally...loopylouie-Sorry af showed, was a sweet thing of dh buying 'o' sticks. When i'm on clomid i get sorer boobs ,i think it might be one of the side effects...Emmy-pleased to hear your op went well, good luck with that chrissy present...Murraycod-thinking of you...
Just a quick note, Well AF greated me this morning so not even time to be 5 mins late !
on the bright side at least I am back on a 28 day cycle thanks to the vitex I think been a long 3 mnths since my MC but I think we are on the way again so looking forward to this months and maybe I can have a BFP too for my christmas present !
Hello to Murraycod if your looking Miss you babe hope your OK !
Matthews mum thanks for asking here we go again !
Spfairy just proves it takes a little while to get back into your cycle but I think Im there at long last hopefully you are too !
Emmy83 glad all is well with your surgery goodluck TTC along with all of us here !
Loopy - Aw I'm so sorry to hear AF showed up. Your DH sounds really sweet and supportive though. Hopefully next month will bring better luck.
Crafty and Elise - You guys are so strong not to test. I really really want to see BFPs from you both!
mummyof4 - LOL I did the exact same thing one cycle and was in shock when it came up negative. 6DPO though is waaaay to early since implantation usually happens around 7DPO. Let me give you another reason to wait. This past cycle I tested at 10DPO and got a very BFN. Crushing! I tested again on 12DPO and got a line so faint it was barley visible and DH thought I was seeing things. It took until 17DPO to get a nice dark BFP. I know that wait is agony but hang in there.
Emmy - I hope you heal up quickly and get lots of BD in. That would make a fab X-mas gift.
SPF - I know it's really hard to be around people who are pG with the same due date that you should have been. i was in that same boat and kept trying to avoid them so I wouldn't get upset. In the end though I faced up to it and started hanging out with them and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. The more I saw them the less upset it made me. It might be too soon for you though so take your time and do what feels right for you.
Ferrals - Hope your BT goes well and you have lots of healthy eggs ready to go
Matthew's Mum - I'm sorry you are having to deal with hurtful comments. Unless you've been through it you don't understand how hard it is and those people have no right to make any comments. You will heal on your own time and they can't rush you.
Had a very emotional last couple of days. Last night out of the blue I started crying over my m/c. I just felt so sad that I would never get to meet that little baby and I just couldn't' stop crying. I guess I'm a little scared too as I'm approaching 5 weeks and I really want to keep going.
Had another tearful day today as I finally saw my doctor and he strongly urged me to get the H1N1 vaccination as the risk of me dying from H1N1 is far greater than the chances of me having another M/C. I went home and sobbed, not knowing what I should do. I did a LOT of reading and finally decided that if they had the unadjuvanted and Thimerasol free vaccine I would get both DS and I done. They did have it and I was so scared I was choking back tears and shaking while she gave it to me but she was very nice and understanding and talked over all my fears with me. Now I just have to wait and see what happens these next few weeks. Fingers crossed.
craftymummy - guess we were posting at the same time. I'm really sorry to hear that AF arrived. I really hope you get a BFP in time for Christmas as well.
