snugglebean-I hear ya! i was on vitex a natural herb when we got pregnant with abbi and i used it for pms and pimple's it is awesome but FS told me to stop while going through ivf well my acupuncturist(spelling) told me to go back on it i know a lot of ivf women on it and there FS don't mind so i'm going back on it ASAP i believe in all the natural stuff.
I had to laugh at the vagina remark lol.

Well the FS rang and said my fertility is good i have a good egg reserve i just ovulate early which is fine in normal TTC but with pgd ivf we need lot's of egg's so that lead follicle that start's to grow to early will stop the other follicle's from catching up in size so she did not start me on the pill we will wait until next AF and check my level's again if they are still high she said it is most likely just the way my hormone's are and we can start next month and see how thing's progress or go on the pill for 3 week's and then start but she does'nt really want me to go on the pill as ivf cycle's straight off the pill are not as good so it's a waiting game again but it look's like they will just go ahead and start next cycle (finger's crossed) if it turn's out no good we are still nice and fertile to try naturally
    if we have to.
I also want to say thank's for listening to me go on and on this is very stressfull and you girl's are a huge shoulder to cry on thank you.

Ferrals - I love a bit of snot on my shoulder. Cry away. (I work in childcare so totally used to it! Actually, on that, I reckon it's a bit of a sign of a good childcare centre - staff with snotty shoulders. That way you know that they are snuggling kids who are sad, although gross about the snot!)
Vitex pumps up your progesterone levels, which is why a lot of folk take it.

We have had the power out for 4 hours here. Lots of candles, very romantic

Mathew's mum- Thanks for asking i am feeling confident i have a bee in my bonnet and i am determined to get my level's down at least a little i have started my liquid vitex (YUK!!!) and will try to eat estrogen inhibiting food and food that help's eliminate estrogen from the body.

Mummyof4- i am a mummy of 4 too i have 3 boy's and i lost my beautiful daughter 6mth's ago at 19weeks 5days one day shy of 20 weeks due to a genetic fault we now have to do PGD IVF to try to avoid it happening again Abbi was our first child for my DH and i (my boy's are to my ex) i know what you are going through i will tell you with time it doe's get easier and you do still get out of bed every day and life doe's go on but you will think about her every day and remember every little thing about her and that is ok because she is your daughter and will be with you in your heart and memories' forever.

    Thanks for your replies ladies!
It has been a very hard 2 weeks here, but you girls all know what that is like. It is nice to not have to explain how i am feeling to some people, cause most people just really dont get it even when you do try to explain.
I havent talked to my Dr about any of this ( i am changing Dr lol) but i havent been told if it is ok for us to TTC again, if we shoulod wait, if i should be taking extra folate ect... i dont even know if we are allowed to ... do "IT" yet lol

Ferals, thanks for your nice words! i have been told by many people that it will get easier... but im not sure if i want it to get easier... i dont think i am ready for that yet.
can i ask wat PGD IVF is?? i have not really had any experience with IVF at all..

    Hi Everyone,
Been so busy the last few days didn't have time to post, Got the kids back to school now so can chill a little in the day now. Must say the time is passing quickly now for me as Ive kept busy,
Sorry to hear some of you have to wait even longer until you get your IUI or IVF its a long hard journey, I remember it well as my 2nd was IUI as I had my 1st from a previous relationship, Anyhows my DH was told he had hardly any sperm and the sperm he had was not too good mobility wise, anyway after 4 attempts with IUI with his sperm we gave up and at the time 1990 IVF was still new and out of our price range, anyhow we decided to try IUI with donor sperm and after 2 attempts I was pregnant, Couldn't beleive it and went on to have a healthy baby boy in 1991, Went back to same clinic 3 yrs later to use same donor and found out I had fallen pregnant naturally ! so no need for IUI or donor, anyhow the rest is just a miracle lets say, now have 9 kids the last 7 conceived completely naturally with a DH with suposedly hardly any sperm ! So I guess what IM trying to say is NEVER GIVE UP we don't know whats around the corner and even with all the medical advances now adays YOU CAN NEVER BE SURE !

So if your IUI or IVF gets cancelled for some reason then just anywasys YOU NEVER KNOW !

AFM Still not sure whats going on with me just brown or watery loss mostly when I wipe but no sign of O so I guess I just wait and wait ! My little OP sticks should be here soon so maybe I will use them just to see whats going on Don't want to miss the chance of O and not knowing !

Murraycod hope you get good news tomoro and Ferrals4, Matthews mum still trucking on and good luck to you and all the other ladies on the TTC journey !

Mummyof4 you are in the right place we know how you feel and we will support you as much as we can, Ask away !
