Murrycod-The vitex is a natural hormone balancer i was on it when i was trying to get pregnant with abbi as i am not a spring chicken anymore and it worked i fell pregnant but as you know the genetic problem has changed everything and with the ivf they said to stop taking it and now my hormones are out of whack i am wondering if it is because i stopped it or that i'm getting older as my FSH level was ok but the FS said high estrogen can push down the FSH level so i am now worried that my true FSH is going to be higher which as women get older is an indicator of a diminishing ovarian reserve but i was pregnant not to long ago so i hope that is not the case anyway i will take it until i have my next BT and see if it has made a difference but i think i have a natural high estrogen level so if that's the case i wont be a good candidate for IVF and will have to go back to trying natural which scare's the hell out of me i don't want to risk another baby with SLO it was tramatic but i am trying to stay calm and eat organic s##t avoid fizzy drink's (MY FAVORITE)because the sodium can increase estrogen so if it don't frikken work i won't be happy enough of me good luck to you i hope it work's this month and i'm happy i could help you to remember you and your DH have to come first and somtime's you need a little reminder of what's important the love of our live's right in front of us.

Hello to all the other ladie's sorry to do just a murrycod reply i hope you are all having a great weekend.

    Hi there Ladies
Hope you have a good weekend and all relax and enjoy some quality together time and lots of must say Im getting a bit stressed now as no sign of a full AF and no sign of O either no mucus no nothing just brown discharge when I wipe and I am so P>>>>d off now all this effort for nothing it seems.
Was reading the last post by ferrals4 to murraycod and was very interested to read about the vitex Do you think this will help me ? I am 44 so no spring chicken but I have had a baby 15mnths ago and I fell pregnant in June this year which sadly I MC in Sept, but as my body don't seem to know what its doing at the moment its been nearly 7 weeks now since my D&C, I wonder if it needs a little help with hormone balancing ? I am taking a Natures own conception support pre-pregnancy supplement and have been for the last 3 wks it has folic acid and other stuff in Ive never heard of but no VITEX so tell me ladies what do you think ?

mummyof4 you need more time, its hard for all of us TTC after a MC but yours was a bit too soon and I think with time you will know when its right to BD again and enjoy it.

    Well thanks for listening !

Craftmummy-google everything you can on vitex i have read everything and i know a lot of women having fertility issue's who swear by it the liquid is better then the tablets and with older mum's it help's by keeping the dreaded FSH hormone down it promote's ovulation it taste's like S##T!!! and my best friend went to a natrupath after 18mth's ttc and one m/c he put her on vitex and 2mths later she got preg and is due tomorrow so i say what do you have to lose it can't hurt other than your taste bud's.

Hi all,Coco-Have a great date with hubby, how exciting...Scarypinkfairy-I've heard the d&c is a very common & small procedure,I'm sorry you haven't been able to avoid like you wanted but you've done all you can.Keep thinking that after Monday you'll be so much closer to conceiving again...Mummy of 4-I remember the first few times, dtd after my loss& there were lots of tears, that part got better for me in time.I found trying to keep in my mind that i wanted to be pregnant again helped me but i was still upset because i still wanted to be pregnant, should of still been pregnant with the baby i lost. You are going through such a devastating time ,hope you're getting lots of supportive cuddles from dh,sometimes,I know it is hard with 3 other children in the family, those cuddles can naturally lead to more intimate moments with hubby...Ferrals-Keep up the good work.i'm going to talk to my FS about 'vitex',see if it might help with my issues...Craftymummy-I wouldn't think it could hurt.I'm only asking my doc because he has already put me on clomid, metformin &baby asprin...Murraycod-last but never least, thank you for your kind words, sounds like your in a really good head space, hope your having a great start to the weekend, here's hoping for Tuesday...afm-FS has put me on 5th round of clomid 100mg,put me on a different bding schedule,if not successful he going to up my clomid to 150mg for the 6th round,if still not UTD he has said he'll check to see if my tubes maybe blocked.

Mathewsmum-just remember some FS are more into science mine said vitex is great for natural TTC but when going through ivf she said it can interfear with BT so recomended i stop taking it and look what happened to me so my acupuncturist said to go back on it so i am like i said to craftmummy google it do your research and ask your FS if your ttc naturally it should be fine.

Hello to everyone, i am officially back, got back from magnetic island yesterday and had a ball. I think it has done me the world of good, it really took my mind of TTC and has put me in a better frame of mind and am alot more relaxed now. Have decided to stop stressing as much and just let it all happen. I think i ovulated while i was on holidays but couldnt be 100% sure. When i got home yesterday i hadnt seen db for 3 weeks so needless to say there was plenty of BDing happening I think AF is possibly due in the next 3 or 4 days so ill just wait and see what happens, but im pretty sure she'll show up, which im completely fine about this time.
Hello to all the new ladies that have joined this incredible bunch of women, you have definately come to the right place for all the support you need.
So anyway no persies for me at the moment as ive missed so much and have just spent the last half hour reading over all the posts.
Good luck to anyone who is testing soon and to everyone else.
    Talk soon

just after a bit of advice here today. i have my d&c booked in for tomorrow but now the bleeding has stopped. just think that the rest of the retained products might come out in my next af, rather than having the d&c tomorrow. i am so confused about it all. i will have been 3 weeks 5 days tomorrow since i had my missed m/c induced by misoprostol. any thoughts?

    Hi Ladies
I'm a newbie to this site but after reading your stories I thought I would share mine aswell.
I'm 29, Married to my sweetheart of 10 yrs, Mother to our beautiful little girl Emma (4) and have been trying to concieve our 2nd child for 20 months now with no luck.
In 2003 I has a m/c, thought I was 14 weeks but after some bleeding had an o/s and had actuallt lost baby at 7 weeks, had d/c same day, had 2 periods than fell again straight away which ended up being an eptopic pregnancy.
This was horrible, we were so happy that we had fallen again so quickly after our lose, than only 4 days after finding out I was pregnant again I had really bad pain on my left side followed by bleeding the next day, had o/s which show that the baby was in my left fallopian tube. I needed to have surgery straight away and left tube was quite damaged so they had to remove it.
After this we decided to wait a while before we tried again. We waited for around 6 months than decided to try again but with only 1 working F tube we knew that it would not happen as quickly as before. We trying for around 6 months than were sent to a fertility specialist but 4 days before my app I found out that I was pregnant again ( was 8 months after we started trying).
We were so happy but so anxious at the same time, I just kept thinking that something was going to go wrong again, but thankfully this pregnancy resulted in daughter Emma.
In March 2008 when Emma was 2 1/2 we started trying for baby number 2 and are still trying now.It has been a rough ride.
After 12 months of trying with no success we were sent to fertility doc and I underwent a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy which show up that there was nothing wrong, hubbies sperm count is fine, so now we are at the next step which is a fertility drug clomid.
I start taking the pills in about a week or so on the 5th day of my cycle. We are going to try this untill feb or march 2010 and if we still have no luck the next step is IVF. But hopefully the pills will do there job and we will be pregnant again in the next few months.
Well now u know a little bit about me I am looking forward to getting to know u guys and sharing all of our up and downs.
    Thanks for listening

scarypinkfairy i would suggest still having the D&C, i had similar thing happen, i bled for about 3 weeks after my mc and the day before i was booked in for the op my bleeding slowed right down and almost stopped. I was so over it all i decided to still have the op and get everything out and start afresh. Hope all goes well for you and ill be thinking of you tomoro

Welcome emmasmum i must have missed your post earlier when i posted. Youve come to the right place for all the support you need and hopefully youll get a BFP when you start the clomid and dont have to go through the IVF.
mummyof 4 i can understand what you mean about not wanting to BD after your loss, i bled for about 3 weeks after my m/c and then finally had a D&C and was quite sore. My db had no trouble at all DTD afterwards as he had waited so long but i found it very hard to start again. Every time we did i would end up in tears and DB couldnt understand why. I think it was just the thought that we shouldnt have been doing it again to try and fall pregnant, it should have just been for fun I hope you start to feel better really soon and you can start TTC again when you feel ready.

Evening everyone,Eliselouise-good to have you back...Emmasmum-sorry for losses, hope the clomid works for you,I'm nearly at the end of my clomid journey, but i've heard of lots of success stories using the clomid, hope your one of them...Mummy of4-men and women are so very different at times, aren't they, hope he understand soon where your coming from, they grieve differently to us,dtd might be his way of getting on with things, tell him you need him in other ways at the moment, would he read any articles on loss as i think what your feeling is very common...Scarypinkfairy-general anesthectic is a biggy for me too, apparently the anesthesis comes around before hand,i hope you find him/her reassuring.FS told it is a very quick procedure so you don't need to be under the anesthetic for very long.Keep in mind so many people say that your very fertile afterwards...

    Evening Ladies
Scarypinkfairy you may have stopped bleeding today but what if it starts again tues, go for the D&C its not too bad the proceedure only takes 30 mins and you just breath through a mask and next minute its all over you don't even realize you've been asleep and had it done. And you will have a nice clean uterus to grow a healthy bub. Ive had retained placentas after birth and it can make you very ill if you don't get rid of any retained products !

Emmasmum welcome nice of you to join us in your journey of TTC we are all here to listen to your gripes and so on and give any tips if we have any
im an oldy on here and have learnt some new tricks ! from those in the know !

Elsielouise Hi there glad your back and had a good rest and time to reflect on your TTC journey might be just what the DR ordered next mnth will be a BFP the rate your going.

AFM i have decided to wait and see if I get an AF in the next 2 wks and if not maybe take a trip to the GP and see what he says as I seem to be stuck in limbo here and I may just get myself some VITEX and give it a go. But will continue to the rest of this week just incase I do O and if not then I think I will give up and go see the GP and see what the hells going on.

Murraycod and matthews mum hope you are both well and still feeling positive even though murraycod your eggies have gone walkies and matthews mum hope AF is nearly over for you, at least you know where you are in your cycle ( think I lost my bike )

    Anyways goodnight and speak soon

    GoodLuck tomoro SPfairy

    Hi all,
I have posted at times in here but thought I will introduce myself and hopefully in another month I can actually start ttc again.
We had being ttc for a yr when I had an ectopic pregnancy which resulted in my tube being removed with my pregnancy. I had an ultrasound 3weeks before my surgery due to PV bleeding which showed an empty gestation sac in the uterus so we were told it was a m/c. Fast forward a few weeks and my HCG was continuing to rise and due to pain and me being 99% sure I had an ectopic pregnancy another scan confirmed it was in my right tube. At the surgery they found endo and adhesions and my left tube wasn't as healthy as it could be.
Today I have a post-op review and hopefully I will know more this afternoon.
I also m/c in May at 5weeks. A routine HCG showed a HCG of 20 at 5weeks. I also think that pregnancy was ectopic but there was never any proof. It took a week to m/c spontaneously.
So now we are having a HSG done this year sometime and depending on that we will decide if to carry on trying naturally or go to a FS and look into some more assistance. I am finding it hard coping with milestones of when I expected to be pregnant or have a baby (like anniversaries, weddings and Christmas approaching. due dates) and I also hate not been able to ttc. One Dr told us wait 2 full cycles post ectopc, another 12weeks. I guess my appointment this evening will tell me something different also. I hope to try again soon as whilst I am trying I have hope that it will happen but whilst I am not trying that hope is gone and the wait feels like for ever. Sorry about a me me post. Thats my main details.
