Hi all just wanted to say a quiet congrats to Clairesmummy!!! Yes my OPK sticks come up + its actually quite fun to watch really!! Hehe.
Sticky vibes coming your way and I hope you get your BFP on that FR test sweetie!!
AFM - I've hit 12 weeks and had nuchal scan last week which came back all good!! Baby was very active kicking and sucking its thumb. Cute. So I can say now at 12.5 weeks I still dont have the confidence I feel I should, but, that said yesterday I did invest in a couple of maternity clothes, but that said still haven't had the confidence to pick up any baby things. Usually by this stage I have started to get a couple of newborn clothes etc and at the very least nappies (which are currently on sale) but I keep thinking I will jinx it so continue to hold back. Odd really!!
Hope everyone else is well. Forshelby you must be close to having your next scan????
Good morning All- The big huge hyper I had last night has now officially been shattered once again and I'm actually feeling quite peeved off right now with me. Well after doing an OPK last night and getting a BFP I did the whole POAS first up this morning only to get a So there it is in a nutshell ladies. God I'm so over being let down I thought for sure I was on a winner last night now nothing. My nipples are so sore today it's painful and I really thought that the +ive I got last night would carry through to this mornings POAS but it didn't. Still have no sign at all of AF and still having those weird feelings around my lower hip area yesterday no cramping just strange feelings low in my belly and hip area. To be honest I really thought I was PG this month but if I am why can't I get a BFP on a HPT???? I am now 9 days late with AF thinking maybe it's time for another DR appointment.
Mum22- So good to hear from you and so so happy that everything is great for you and your little bub darl, that is awesome. Sending you lots of cyber hugs to celebrate darl.
Kell- I can't wait to read all about your bub and you in your PM darl.
Kell- Don't stress darl I'm the only one that got my hopes up but then when I was waiting for the results this morning i knew it would be a BFN I didn't really expect anything else. Ah well back to the drawing board again for me. Hmmm just totally giving up sounds like a good option right now and just getting on with my life and putting all my love into my gorgeous DD that I have here with me. TTC has just reached the to hard pile for me I think and I don't really wanna be poked and prodded by numerous test. Will have to have a good chat with DF today about where to go from here and find out how much he really wants a child cause this is just doing my head in more and more and obviously it is affecting my health both mental and physical. So NO Kell in no way at all should you blame yourself for any of my dissappointment darl and please don't. Thank you for being awake at the god early time.....lol....
Clairesmummy....my heart nearly skipped a beat when i saw you're first post about the opk..i actually got a bit teary for you thinking you're pregnant......im so sorry hun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh clairesmummy, I was soo excited to see that first post from late last night and to see your result this morn be totally different. sending you heaps of hugs sweety
to the girls in the TWW - hopefully it goes by quickly for you all
Clairemummy: sorry to hear you are in a state of confusion, its strange you are having symptoms but maybe thats just your body playing up, maybe this really is ovulation for you, didn't your blood test show you hadn't this cycle ? are you having ovulation signs ? i'd definitely go back to your gp and telling them you need a form for blood tests to see whats happening, big hugs to you, i can understand you wanting to throw it all in, don't make any decisions just yet, you might feel differently in a few days, get some clomid, give that a go and then see how you feel.
hi to everyone else, i gotta run, have a gazillion things to do today and the one day my kids go to daycare is today but they rang and said my DS had a rash so i had to go get him and now my day has been thrown into a mess !
Could be Minnie I have no idea any more with whats going on with my body, I will do another OPK today and see how it goes. I know with my OPKs it only stays +ive for a little more than a few hours. My first +ive OPK this cycle was at CD12 so I thought I was going to O when I was sposed to and I kept testing until I got a neg. that was only after a few hours it had nearly faded totally away. I have made an appointment with my GP today at 1:50pm so here's hoping she WILL do something for me this time as I have had it with all the guessing and maybe's. I will be having lots of tears there I dare say and I don't think they will be fake ones Minnie....lol....wink wink...
Thank you Ioana for your kind words darl thank you for the hugs.
Clairesmummy...i'd just push her for an ob's referral and dont take no for an answer ...just tell her that you have had enough and dont want to wait any longer and its been two years and there is something wrong and you defiantly need to see an ob and there will be a wait so you'd like to book and appointment asap..and could she do some more bloods for you...
Melster- Thanks darl, there is only so much I can do from here on though, I think the end of our TTC journey is coming up a little quicker than expected right now as I don't know how much more I can keep going through. The endless waiting to see a specialist the waiting for test results the waiting to get a BFP. At some point we have to say enough is enough and lets get on with our life as a family of 3. I'm really feeling like I'm not my usual happy self any more and I don't want to keep feeling this way. At this point right now I feel like I could walk into my appointment this afternoon and tell the DR to jam it if I don't get results and things happening like yesterday. I'm tired and I'm totally worn down by everything. But we shall see what happens this afternoon I guess. But I know I won't be going in there holding onto to hope that anything will ever change for us.
Clairesmummy, I know it's hard but hang in there. U have been trying so long but u haven't seen the specialist in that time, my advice is a least c someone & c what they say, there r still options for u available, just insist on a referral, hugs honey hope it goes well
Clairesmummy - if you're still getting a on a hpt, I suspect you might be Oing really late. Jump on that DF of yours. NOW! FX you're just having a weird irregular cycle and you're still in with a chance. About throwing in the towel, only you can make that decision, but before you do I want you to ask yourself one question. Which is worse? Banging your head against a wall trying and trying again, or no longer trying and wondering what could have been 10-20 years down the track. Hopefully this will help clarify things for you and lead you to the right decision for you. Either way you have our support. Good luck at the drs, hun.
Mum22 - Yay you're back. There was a bit of a 'thing' about pg talk in this thread, (no biggie) but definitely come over to the PAML thread and I can get you up to speed on what's happening with me. I continue to stalk here and support our TTCers though.
Thanks Minnie- I'm feeling a little peeved atm and a little more confident sort of. I have just spent half the day on the phone ringing OB/GYNs in our area the shortest waiting period I can find and the most helpful I have found is my home town Hospital and thier specialist which is 5 hours drive away from home where I am now. The major hospital close to us is only 2 hours away but the waiting period is 12+months to get in and see them. The closer of the 3 big towns is the same and the other town doesnt have any visiting specialist in that area at all. So I thought I would take a stab in the dark and ring my childhood home town just north of the Sunny Coast and HOORAH HOORAH. The midwife even put me straight onto the specialist himself and he agrees with me that my DR is wasting time and I should of been referred by now after my 2 MC and not being able to concieve in such a long time frame. He couldn't believe it has taken them this long to do BT for me so he told me to tell them I want a referal NOW and gave me the address of where to send it too as well. He was lovely to talk to and made me feel a little more hopeful. I told him I live 5 hours away from Gympie and he said it's my choice of where I want to be treated and I am more than welcome to come to Gympie for treatment. I miss my home town in times like this......
clairesmummy - until you know why you are having problems, you really have no idea how easy/hard it is to fix. sometimes it's really simple and it could end up happening really quickly for you once you get yourself sorted !!! modern medicine today is amazing! i'm so glad you've got onto a specialist that will HEAR YOU and TAKE SOME ACTION... YAH !!!! Good luck with it all darl and i'll keep stalking you
Clairesmummy - oh sweetie I can't believe I missed your posts til now. I was so excited then deflated for you....I just don't know what to say. I have been where you are and its horrible and I suspect I will there soon in a few days infact. Excellent news about the referal now I bet he gets you pregnant so to speak!!! mwahhhhh xxx
Melster - hope you are well whats happening?
AFm - nothing, no sore BB's nothing my body is blank nothing to even pretend is pregnancy related!!!! Boring boring boring TWW!!!
Clairesmummy- sorry to hear your cycle is being so screwy.
For those that were asking, I am doing well. Things with my DP seem to be going well and I have been going out and enjoying myself the way most 22yr olds do first time in years I have really acted my age and I am loving every second of it.
Clairesmummy...How'd you go love? Are you feeling any better this arvo......its real tough when it gets you down but dont give up........Do you still know people in you're home town you could visit that would make the drive to see the dr more appealing?
Joeve...hows the count down going?? what day are you now? Are you going insane yet or keeping occupied?
Damprye..its so good to let you're hair down once in a while, isnt it?...I have done it a couple times in the last few months with all the disspointments and its actually worked and i havent thought about the whole TTC thing for a few hrs..and kept myself occupied..
ATM...I'm trying my hardest to talk myself into being more positive and less stressed and not so obsessed, but with my jaw hurting and my body aching..(not sure how great its working but im trying) i have asked hubby to give me a massage tonight and i might also go and pay someone this week to give me a massage and see how relaxed i can get......i will also have a few drinks on the weekend and loosen me up as its my daughters bday...so i hope i dont get too stressed with the skids etc....im waiting for my cheapie opks tests to arrive from the internet so i will start testing when i get them..and i have accupunture saturday and she is giving me a new t combo that has something in it for stress....so i am just waiting day by day to see what this cycle is like...i will be away when af is due so that will defiantly be interesting.....i feel warn out......and feel horrible for complaining when clairesmummy and others have been trying for years and im winging about 4months......but it does get to you as the months go by.......
