Thanks for a good result for us both. I am still bleeding.....this morning I woke up and it had stopped but then by lunchtime, it was back. BT tomorrow but results aren't until Tuesday as my Dr isn't in until then - hopefully I haven't died of IMPATIENCE by then

    Hugs to you all.

Eliselouise- As you know I still lurk quite often as i am still to scarred to move into the paml thread fully. Just wanted to let you know that when I was first pg with DS, AF was always due on a Tuesday and I tested on the Friday after and got a BFN, it was in the afternoon after work. Still no Af so tested again on the following monday with first morning urine and got a BFP. That lead onto a very healthy bub being born, with my mc I got a BFP the day before af was due. Hang in there!

AFM- feeling really nervous, today I have my 1st tri scan and I am praying that all will be ok, although I am trying to prepare for it not to be just in case. I keep telling myself that if all is ok today I will relax and try to enjoy my pg.

    Cheers

Good luck josh'smum! Thinking of you all day long. Pop in and let us know how you go.

AFM - one of the girls at work who is pg had some spotting over the weekend and went to the hospy. She's off work today to go for a scan. I feel really guilty about how I reacted when she told me - I was completely matter of fact about the whole thing, didn't really get time to think about it, I guess. I'm her boss, so my first thought when she rang was "who can I call to replace her?" I feel like such a cow.

Snugglybean dont feel like a cow, you are only doing your job and that is an instinct reaction. as for being completely matter of fact about the whole thing dont feel bad about it we all have to deal with things differently and i know recently when a girl i played netball with told me she was pg i acted exactly the same, i was happy for her but really didnt want to hear about it.
joshsmum thanks for your post that has given me some hope, af still not here and im not feeling pg at all, no symptoms whatsoever and i keep telling myself dont test coz youll only get dissapointed but like you said i might wait another couple of days and POAS with first morning wee and for a BFP. Good luck with your 1st tri scan today, im have a good feeling for you and hope that everything is sailing along as it should be and you can start enjoying it Let us know how you go.
Matthewsmum, thanx for your thoughts, hopefully i can find out whats happening real soon preferably with a BFP and not AF
starangel your in my thoughts today, like you say hopefully you dont die of impatience the waiting and not knowing is the hardest thing.
AFM (you prob already read above) still no af but also no BFP so who knows, going to try and wait till wednesday and if af still hasnt turned up ill POAS with first morning wee. That will be 5 days past when af was due so should bloody tell me something
Hello to everyone else ive missed, hope everyone had a great weekend and ill talk soon

So, girl at work is 7w1d, thought she was only 5, and even then it was a maybe. Only knew when her last AF was because it was same time as mine.
I feel so completely neutral about it. Wasn't sad for her when she was spotting, can't feel happy for her now that it's OK. Completely unable to process it. Might go home and cry later though, who knows.

In other news... I'm leaving my job. I work in a childcare centre, which on its own is fine. But next year, when we are properly TTC again, DH and I both want me in a more low-risk environment. Work do not understand and are trying to talk me out of it, but I'm determined.

    Hi everyone,

Starangel - I hope they can rush the blood tests for you today. I live in a country town and can get blood tests results back after 3 hours. I hope you dont have to wait until tomorrow. I have my fingers crossed for a great hcg level for you and that the bleeding stops.

eliselouise - Good luck with testing. I hope a/f doesnt show her face and you get your bfp. I didnt expect to get my bfp as i didnt have symptoms so you just never know. I hope this is your month! I found the internet cheapies a little slower to show the bfp than store brought tests.

Snugglybean - I understand how you feel. You dont feel bad for others or wish anything bad for them, you just dont want to know about it. Its totally understandable.

Josh's mum - Best of luck with your scan. I have my first scan next wednesday at 8 weeks and am terrified.

    Big to everyone else.

    Hi All Ladies,

I am new member of this forum and i had miscarriage (partial mole) in August, 09 and i have been monitored in Royal Womens hospital for b-hcg till it comes back to 0 or under 5. and my hcg went down under 5 (i.e. 2.5) on 14th sept result and RWH said its ok to plan again.
its really sad that my first pregnancy was a miscarriage and i cant wait to start TTC again.
my cycles are irregular, i had one after D&C on 31st august and then bleeding again on 13 sept (lasted for 5 days) and i am now waiting for my AF to come.

reading the posts of everyone has given me courage to write here and to open my heart to share my grief and loss.

i am scared as well for my next pregnancy and wanted to share this with you ladies.

i wish everyone all the luck and Baby Dust to everyone who are TTC and who are going through this tough phases

    with all love,
    ric

I am so glad you guys feel this way too. I thought I was just a big fat meanie. TBH I am pretty close to telling her that I don't need to hear about it. As I think I've posted before and in other threads, when i saw a counsellor, she suggested telling people what i need before it becomes an issue, to save me the effort of acting one way when feeling another, which was really really draining.

Maybe a Kanye style "Yo, I'mma let you finish. I'm happy for you, really, I am, but Beyonce had one of the best music videos of all time" But she wouldn't get it.

What stops me is that she was totally there for me, from BFP through to m/c, and was cautious about even telling me she was trying.

maddison - nice to see you still kicking around! Hope your scan goes well.

Hey, ric, I'm a partial mole lady too! It's awful that you had a loss, but you'll find loads of support here, and a couple of kindred spirits. There's a TTC after partial molar thread, I'll link to it at some stage - I call it the mole patrol.

Wish I lived where you did - Qld Health don't give you the all-clear until 6 months post-diagnosis, no matter how fast your levels go down. So we could be trying again now, but when we first learnt about the molar and having to wait, we planned a trip to Japan to go skiing and hot-bathing, and I am NOT missing out on that, it's my silver lining!

    Hi Everyone

A big hello to ric glad you had the courage to join us we are all in the same boat here all keeping each other positive and focused on the end result which is a BFP and a full term pg.

Murraycod slight cramping is a good sign as far as I remember I had it quite a few times and was convinced it would be a BFN but not always so think positive don't give up yet you are not sure !

Starangelk thinking of you today and hope you get a good BT result a nice high HCG let us know
Elsielouise85 you need to relax a bit you don't know the facts yet still early days I would also suggest doing a POAS early morning the urine is more concentrated then with the hormone and the longer you go without AF the more positive I would say you must feel.

We all give ourselves heartache thinking what day it is in our cycle such is life when you are TTC but we all need to sit back and give our bodies the ok to do the job beleive in ourselves mind over matter is a very powerful thing

I am 26 days since D&C and was doing really well emotionally so I thought until yesterday wow it can all come back in a rush and hit you when you least expect it I was in tears again and beside myself I came on the forum and read the latest last night and got comfort and reminded myself of all you other ladies in the same position as me TTC after miscarriage and I did get comfort reading all the good wishes sent via this forum it really did help so THANKS to all of you

    Hi Snugglybean,
I know Drs and pathologist at RWH are really great, they have said to me after my under 5 results that if you have any problem you can straight away come to Royal without hesitation...which is really great and i am not happy with my GP as she straight away quoted when i first went to her after my BFP in June (you know 1 in 5 pregs end in misscarriage, you have to wait till you finish your 3 months) how insensitive of her...

In a way its good that you are planning to travel, you will be refreshed and energised with full of positive energy to start again.
QLD health practice is not good, cant they refer other hospitals in other states....that is really a long wait.
thanks for replying to my post.
    stay in touch.

Thanks alot craftymummy9 and snugglybean for warm welcome and encouragement to share my thoughts after the m/c.
I just think about falling Pregnant again and have occupied myself in reading stuff about pregnancy.
And the strange thing is one of the colleague fall prego along with me (same month) and now I see her belly growing everyday and mine not, which reminds me of my loss everyday (5 days a week) and I cant even share my sorrow with anyone.i dont like going to work and want to run away from my job. I don't know why God chose me to suffer all this. I wish to pass this phase as soon as possible and I hope that we all be Pregnant again with happy and healthy 9 months and start the new chapter of our lives asap.

Ric my darling welcome to BB, I'm so sorry for your loss but am glad that you found this forum to help you get through a tough time.
You will make a great bunch of friends here that are so generouse with giving support and words of kindness, I hope that you stick around and share your TTC journey with us

Craftymum sorry to hear that you are having a sad day, I hope that tomorrow brings more smiles and brighter moments. Thank you for your words of encouragement, it means a lot. I get really frantic at the end of my cycles.

"YO" Snugglybean your'e not a meanie.
We love you the way you are, we all have those thaughts at some stage, people just don't understand what it is like to feel the way we do. TBH I act all happy for people that I know when they tell me that they are expecting, whilst getting shredded to peices on the inside. It really hurts and I seem to take it SOOO personally.

Eliselouise I hope that AF is staying away for good reason, fingers crossed for you babe, let us know how you go when you POAS again! Dying to know XX

Starangel best wishes for the BT, I hope your numbers are high high high.

Josh'smum and Maddison thanks for keeping an eye on us, hope that you are both healthy, it's nice to hear from you both X Keep us posted on how your beutiful babies are progressing.

Matthew'sMum get DH to hide that test!!!!!!!!!!! Youre half way there!

AFM i've had a rough few days, have had constant STRONG AF cramping for 3 days and nights, when I went to the loo early thisavo I had spotting when I wiped so im sure AF will eventuate to normal flow in the morning.
I has a HUGE cry outburst when I saw it, I feel like I'm letting DH down, I just want to see a positive so badly.
Anyway I phoned FS and ordered my next lot if injections, I have appt after my BT on wednesday.
Not quite ready to dust myself off yet, DH has gone to bed, and I'm sitting in lounge feelin a bit sore and sorry for myself ATM.

Sorry about the whinge guys, but I'm sure I will only get worse tomorrow!

Hi to everyone I missed, hope all is well in the camp XXX
    Fresh babydust to all.
