I'm out for this month too. I sleepily tested at like 5am this morning and got a BFN. I went to back to bed kind of sad but I had been expecting it. I shouldn't have even bothered testing though as a few hours later I started spotting and getting AF cramps. We will not be out of town this next cycle so hopefully we will have better luck.
Matthew's Mum & Craftymummy - I'm sorry to hear of your losses, welcome to the thread. I hope your stay here is a short one
Coco and Tanya - fingers crossed for you both!
Hearts and Sammy - I'm so sorry to hear AF arrived for you guys too. Hopefully next month will be our month.
-
Hi all
I got a BFN too...Im pretty sure that at 13dpo it means Im out. AF will be here today or tomorrow :( *sigh* I thought we did so well too..
Back to the drawing board eh?
-
Oh, TS :( Sorry about af showing.... that truly sux! Take care of yourself.
Well, I didn't test...Overnight I got every pre-af symptom I usually get, plus my temp was still low... I am not sure what was going on yesterday.... *sigh* I am pretty sure my bleed will begin tomorrow.
-
WHY ARE WE ALL HAVING TROUBLE!!!
Sorry for yelling...
-
Morning ladies
Coco - your final post is EXACTLY how I am feeling. Pls feel free to yell, it helps.
Twin sister - sorry to hear about your BFN. :(
Tanya - it isn't over until it's over..................but you know your body the best.
I am 11 DPO and took a HPT this morning and it was a BFN as well. This is my first cycle so I expect it to be a bit all over the shop but I have been having AF style pains so I think it is only a matter of time for me too. That said, I am still in some sort of denial and plan to keep testing until AF comes. Luckily for me I bought cheapie internet tests and lots of them. My chart still looks good but this morning I took my temp in both ears and picked the highest one....I think it's cheating.
-
Star.... don't give up. :)
Yell all you like Coco (((hugs)))
You are right I do know my body... it does this everytime flow is due... Just wish it were wrong for once! But I also thought what I experienced yesterday was a pregnancy sign.... then again it's gone today. Just over it all *sigh* ahhh well...
-
Morning everyone,Tanya--sorry,our bodies can be confusing at times...Coco &Twin Sister--sorry about the bfn's...Starangelk--If testing helps, keep going...I'm sure all this frustration will be worth it in the end until then we can yell...Thanks Maddison&TwinSister for the welcome....Hope none of us are in this thread for much longer.
-
-
Tanya-Sorry ,is there anything you can do for yourself today to ease the sadness
-
I wish there was... I think a bit of time is all that will help.
-
Tanya-they do say time helps,so hard waiting for time to do it's job though, hugs.
-
-
(((hugs))) Coco... I'm hearin yu!!
-
AF sucks. you poor girls. mine is due on thursday next week and i have a strong feeling it will definately come. looks liek we'll be with each other here a bit longer.(no offense of course)
-
Sorry coco ,here's hoping for next month
-
Wow, I won't let myself get behind anymore on checking the threads here. I didn't spend much time online in the past week, and the volume is insane if you don't check regularly. Welcome to all the new ladies, the support in here is amazing. My thoughts and prayers are with everybody as we deal with losses.
I've lost 10 pounds now. I was supposed to be waiting to TTC until after my next AF (which would be due the end of Sept), but things were rough this past week. My cousin had her baby on Sunday, and the news hit me rather hard. It was just a painful reminder of what I had lost. I've been off the pill since Nov 2007 and still no baby, but she's 20 and had to get married when she fell pregnant. Not that I wish them anything so sad, but it seems unfair sometimes. So I threw caution to the wind and didn't care that this week was ovulation week. DH asked about timing and I decided to rely on my OB's statement that it wouldn't be the end of the world if we didn't wait the 2 full cycles. That technically puts me in TWW now--I had a positive O on Weds and we BD'd the day before and after. We'll see what happens, at least I've had one AF so it's possible to calculate a due date if there's a BFP.
-
Bonelige--hopefully she wont come...Bookworm--Thanks for the kind words.Good on you for the weight loss,I need to stop eating my way through grief.Sorry you've had a hard week,we all have a triggers ,loss is unfair.Fingers crossed for a good result after tww.
-
Wow I can't believe how many of us just got AF! How crummy! I guess that means there are going to be a whole lot of us getting BFP's next month! :)
For those of you for whom AF has not yet arrived, fingers all crossed for you guys.
-
Wow, TwinSis, Hearts, Sammy, Coco sorry AF visited this month, I understand how much of a let down it feels the moment you see the bleed. Huggs to you all and praying next month brings a whole bunch of stickybubs.
Tanya I was thinking of you the other day for Banjo's EDD. Was truly hoping that you got your deserved BFP aroung the date, I'm so sorry to see you now have AF visit you too XX
StarAngel if I have a test, I'll use it! Can't help myself, and when I see the -ive I convince myself that it could be wrong, or too early, or not over till it's over. I'm POAS addict. The only time I ever saw 2 lines was last month but it was a fake positive cuz of the Pregnyl HCG hormone inj I have post IUI.
U did POAS early though
Bookworm 10POUNDS!!!!!!!!!:cheer: Well done! Best of luck now that you are an official TWWer X Sorry you had a trigger, as Mat'sMum said, we all have triggers, just depends how many scars you receive getting through them X I don't think anyone heals to new after a loss. Those scars are way too deep X
Bonelige :goodluck: next Thursday, and no offence taken ;) X
AFM, I dunno what to do or think, Fri 4DPIUI, no news to report, felt nothing.
Then yesterday, all day I swear if I didn't know what day of my cycle I was on I'd be sure that AF had arrived. Most of the night and thismorning I have uncomfortable cramping.
I fell asleep on the couch when I got home from work at 3, which I never do. Thismorning still waking to cramping. Have to pee seriously each 1/2 hr or I will feel that my bladder will explode.
This Pregnyl HCG inj has a lot to answer too I tell ya! I can't trust anything that I feel. My boobies are sore to touch DH wasn't goin anywhere near em last night!
The pregnancy symptoms I know I can't trust cuz of INJ, but the cramping is what is stressi'n me out big time. I feel like I'm getting AF. I keep going to the bathroom to check.
Tomorow will b 1wk PIUI, it's too early to get AF. I hope this cycle isn't stuffed. I'm real worried. As I sit here now, cramping. Sometimes dull Af, at times sharp Af.
Stressing out that it's already over.
-
TwinSister-I agree next month is going to be a big one...Murraycod--Fertility drugs can seem to play havoc with our systems, clomid has given be some confusing signals as well, fingers crossed for you.Morning everyone.
-
Thanks, I just feelin lazy and unmotivated to do anything today. The cramping is making me feel down like I do when I get AF. I'll take the dogs for a walk down the river later for a swim, keep my mind buisy.
-
Murraycod- sounds like a good plan, I don't have dogs but have 3 cats to give me comfort especially my himalayan she loves cuddles.Hope you enjoy your walk.

Two girls at work are pregnant, and an old friend I saw on the weekend. Sucks - all the people I *want* to be pregnant (you guys) aren't, and all the people who are completely clueless about it (them) are!
Meanwhile, I had a beautiful weekend away with DH. I do feel very at peace with our situation now. Time is a great healer. A friend gave me a great birthday card on the weekend that wished me great things for the year ahead - and it was a good way to look at it. I had been thinking that I couldn't wait for this calendar year to be over, for things to get better, but now I'm marking it with a birthday - 28 is going to be a whole lot better than being 27 was!
Spoke to DH's grandmother on the phone last night, and she gave me a bit of the old "things happen for a purpose" My standard response to this lately has been "Yeah, so I know which insensitive people I should leave off my Christmas Card list" - but I said it on the inside :p
-
hi everyone,Snugglybean-I envy pregnant peoples clueness,I wish nobody had to learn just how hard it can be.Sounds like you are in good headspace, might be hope for me yet.The insensitive comments keep coming don't they,I listen & mentally delete anything unhelpful reminding myself they didn't mean anything by it.
-
By clueless I mean not even knowing how far along they are, or not knowing until late in the piece because they "weren't really trying" or not bothering to sort out relationship issues, thinking that if the first baby didn't fix it, maybe the second one will. That kind of clueless.
I am having some crazy ovary tingling on my left side at the moment. Hoping it doesn't mean O-time, as would be earlier than expected and we BD'd on the weekend, a little too close for comfort!
-
HeHe Snugglybean youre a sweetheart!!
Be carefull now, you got that exciting holiday comming up:lol:
Gotta be more carefull when youre not trying cuz you know what'l happen!!!XX
Glad to hear you had a nice weekend, and I really do ENVY your great attitude.
PS: Working with pregnant women surrounding you sucks big time, wish em all the very best but geeez I'm jealouse:shhh:
Me still crampy, but trying to 'ignore my whole situation' at the moment!
I had my last Pregnyl 1500iu inj thismorning and I gotta tell ya I'm glad to see the end of those needles this month.
Praying I don't have to start another lot next month. Time will tell.
But I'm not thinking about that am I X;)
-
hi girls i suppose i need to join this thread now. went for my 12 week scan today and unfortunately the baby had not been growing for a while. have to go to doctors tomorrow and try and sort things out but am in shock over the whole thing :(
-
scarypinkfairy - I am so sorry for your loss, I can only begin to imagine how you must be feeling right now. I am so glad you have posted in this thread, the ladies here are just wonderfully supportive. We will be here for you as much as you need.
-
Scarypinkfairy-Sorry you've needed to use this thread,I also found out that my baby was gone at routine scan and found it hard to believe as didn't have any miscarriage symptoms.hugs
-
i didn't have any symptoms either. no bleeding anyway, but looking back i think something felt not quite right. but it's hard to know what is right as it was my first pregnancy, and everyone is different.
it has been hard telling the few close people that we knew that we have lost the baby. especially when we have no family here for support. it's good to talk to people on here, as people know exactly how we are feeling.
-
S.P.F my darling I'm so sorry to read of your loss.
RIP little Angel.
I can only assure you of that joining this thread you will receive love and support here.
You are in my prayers tonight.

Hello, I am new here, not really sure of much at the moment or where to turn to - which found me here on Sunday night. I miscarried yesterday so currenlty feeling very low & very sad, we were only 6 weeks, but we wanted bellybean so bad, we have been trying for 10 months & were over the moon to have gotten a positive result 1 1/2 weeks ago, only for us to come crashing down yesterday. I am 36 so am very concerned about all this. How long did everyone wait until they started trying again? Alx
-
Welcome Alx, I am so very sorry for your loss. I am sure you will find all the support you need here.
xx
-
morning everyone,Alx--Sorry for you loss, hope you find this forum helpful,I do.I started ttc straight away but everyone is different,my age is a factor as well but you do hear of older woman having babies so there is hope.
-
Scarypinkfairy and Alx - I'm so sorry to hear of your losses
I only have time for a quick post as I can hear DS stirring from his nap. I'm super frustrated right now as AF never really started on Friday when i thought she did. I've been spotting for 4 days and took another test today (another BFN) but still no AF. It's so annoying not knowing what the heck is up. Stop teasing me already and just get here aleady so we can try again LOL
-
Welcome, scarypinkfairy and Alx. I'm sorry that you had to join us, but I know you'll find loving support through your sadness right here. :grouphug:
We lost our bean at 12 weeks too. Ours was a molar pregnancy so we have to wait for 6 months before we can try again.
SPF - I know it's hard to tell people, but once you face it and go through with it, it's not so bad. For me, talking to my SIL who has a 6 month old for the first time was really hard, but I took a really deep breath, and called her, and it was OK, and afterwards I felt really strong. So you mgiht surprise yourself - you just might discover how strong you really are.
On the weekend I went to a wedding with some old friends. They're interstate so I don't see them much. None of them knew I was pg, but I sent them an email before the wedding, to let them know that we'd lost a baby - just so none of them would put their foot in it and give us the old "you're next" rubbish. It was something my counsellor suggested - let people know what you need, and they will always oblige. It has made things SO much easier.
Also, don't expect people to talk about it unless you bring it up first. It's not because anyone is ignoring what's happening; I think they want some reassurance from you that it's OK to talk about it.
You guys will be OK
AFM - I'm pretty sure I'm safe :p Chart looks very un-O-like.
