Hi ladies
Ive been trying to catch up - I feel like ive been reading for ages LOL
So just a few persies
Damprye ~ Im so glad there was a happy ending in your story with DP - GL with moving in together hun
Melster ~ Im still hoping you have a BFP as it sounds like AF hasnt come properly yet - is that right? If you dont have a BFP I dont think there is any harm in TTC this early after your m/c. I was exactly the same. GL and FX for you!!
Kezzy ~ Sorry your relationship came to an end. Im sure the right one will be out there for you - hugs and all the best!
Mum22 ~ Excellent result - so happy for you!! Hope things continue to go well. :stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl:
Dory ~ thanks for thinking of me - you 2 hun xo All the best, can't wait to see a pic or two of your little miracle.
Bons ~ thanks for the hugs - hugs back xo. GL with the upcoming ultrasound.
Hope all of you ladies with a lil precious one inside are doing well and FX things continue to go well - lots of stickyvibes
Hi to all those ive missed and all the best!
AFM ~ Its been a bit of an emotional week. Im also having troubles on the home front. DH is hardly talking to me and I have no idea what ive done. I did get pretty drunk on Sat night at my friends 30th (DH didnt come) and ever since I got home he's been like this - arrhh men :wall:
As for my cycle - I did POAS on Sat morning and BFN - hence why i drank at the party. Woke up with a killer sore lower back and have had back/tummy pain ever since. I dont know whether my pelvis might be out but hoping its pregnancy and the test was just too early. But last night and today Ive started to get headaches and usually that's a bad sign for me. I just dont feel confident anymore and now Im starting to worry about the IVF in Oct - that we wont be able to come up with the money and then that it wont work again - basically in a really crap place right now
-
OMG just did an OPK and it came back positive - yippee!
looks like i'll O a couple of days early this month.
i'm so excited about O'ing this month... it's ridiculous !!
Damprye - what a relief for you and enjoy moving in.... have you tested yet??
Melster - i'm in the same place as you - this is my 2nd month after the MC and i'm obsessed. I'm also SO SURE that i will get a BFP this month... my hubby keeps telling me not to get too excited as i will just be disappointed. and i know we shouldn't test early but i know i won't be able to help myself !!
Mum22 - you poor thing stressing out. i would be the same. what a relief that all is ok :)
have to rush now be back later today...
-
loops12-im pretty sure af has/is arriving..its not exactly the same as my other periods but maybe its different coz of the d&c......its there but not full flo...and i have bad back aches etc and really having bad PMT...........I had a glimer of hope yesterday but its gone now and its slowly getting a bit heavier..
I can sympathise with you on the man front at the moment!!!! is he upset you went out?? some men have trouble saying exactly how they feel and thats my husband all over........... i'm sorry you're having a rough time at the moment.. but i know its really hard not to worry....just try to stay strong and maybe just tell you're self you are having a bad week and will be more positive about the IVF next week..you want to go in to the IVF being as positive as you can and giving good vibes.....sometimes we can wish things to happen and they do...
Glenglen.....congratulations on you're OPK test.....how exciting....i am hoping and praying for you.....
I will be a couple weeks behind you......you can be obsessive with me as i know all about it :D i was so sure i was pregnant this month because i have never had any trouble before and with all the symptoms i had....but it was either me wanting to be pregnant so bad and my body reacting or my body adjusting after the d&c....
I have tested early every other time and got a positive 3-5 days early but this time i spent soooooo much money on tests and every day i got more and more upset....this time i think for my own sanity i will wait until p is due or a day or two before it...so i dont get days of nerves and dissapointment
I have booked in for acupunture on monday because apparently it helps with repairing the uterus and blood flo and with depression etc.....we will be trying again in another 10 days or so.....hopefully husband will be in a better mood by then.....
-
Clairesmummy - Good idea, take all your stuff with you so you don't miss anything. :) And most of all have fun!
Kellie - Considering I cried over a movie today, I imagine I'll be a bit emotional at the scan.. hehe. I can't wait to see our bubby squiggling around in there. Great news you told your friends. I too am of the opinion that I would rather people understood, than were constantly asking what's wrong if I did mc again. I would rather have support than feel alone, and I'm sure that was your final conclusion also. Yay for a lunch well eaten. hehe If you want the dip, go out and get it yourself, then don't let him have any hahahaha. I'm nasty!! My DP doesn't go out for my cravings either, mostly because I don't ask. He gives me that 'diet police' look and I know I'm getting a really round tummy for only 11wks! But I'm so hungry!
Bons - Oh you poor thing... my little dog (he's a foxie) has a thing for standing on my boobs to get right up in my face. At first it was agony... but I started teaching the command 'NOT ON THE BOOBS' and now he knows. I imagine it's a bit harder with your DS though, it's not like he'll respond to commands like a puppy dog. If he does, lucky you! :)
Melster - I took just plain old folate. I can't remember the brand, but it was only $8 per bottle.. so it was a winner for me. I find the blackmores brand is WAY overpriced, and can get the same number of capsules in cenovis brand for $16 instead of $40. Yes, you heard me. That's less than half price! Easy to take too, they don't repeat on me, and even stay down when I chuck, somehow. Good luck vitamin shopping!
Loops - Aw hun, difficult days ahead for you. I don't know if this will help, but try to challenge your negative thoughts whenever they arise. Staying positive is hard, I know. Big hugs for you.
Glenglen - Time for a sausage sizzle at your house.. hehe
I'm not sure if I've missed anything, will be back later to double check. Hope everyone had a great day. :)
-
Thanks ladies - you are so wonderful and supportive - dunno what I do without you! And very very true!! I def have to try and pick myself up-being negative is no good for anyone or anything. I think I'll definitely test tomorrow so I know one way or the other then I can hopefully move forward.
And I'll try and jsut be there for my DH as he may just be struggling with everything.
Thanks again xo
Glenglen ~ Im very happy you are O'ing, have fun and GL, FX!!
-
Forshelby you should see my little belly at 5 weeks or 4.4days hmmm it is rather embarassing. 3rd child.....DH pointed it out to me yesterday. Oh well. ;)
Glenglen yay for the +opk!!!! Woopeee
Bons I know what you mean about joining BB thread later....I joined preg after m/c loss as I am just not ready for it and worried I might jinx myself.... Are you having an early scan around 8 weeks???
Loops I have my fingers crossed for you that your BFP comes up sooner than later sweetie!! Hoping in the next few days for you. If not dont worry, you will find that you manage to get there with the money for IVF in October. How much is a cycle of IVF?? How much outta pocket I mean cos you;d have ta get some of it back from medicare??
Clairesmummy how are you today sweetie? And Reet?? Have you booked your scan in yet Reet?? I also am leaving this til the last moment (jinxing worries) its at the private place so there is usually only a few days til a week wait. Thought I would book it in closer, like around a week before I intend on going....
Kell, how are you today sweetie?? Relaxing a little?
AFM still not many symptoms, slight (very) slight nausea every now and then, bbs aren't really sore, no pimples (yet) really really unlike me when pregnant. I think this is where my worries come from.....Just the lack of symptoms.
Dampre howd you go with test?? Hey I just thought of a + that you get to move....the ferals that were worrying you wont be at your DP house!! Yay!!
-
Bon, Forshelby - i agree with you ... although my inconsiderate bb crusher is my 3 cats! Do they have no resepect? Of course not, neutered males.
Loops - oh sweetie - big hugs. I am so sorry you're in such a tough sport right now. Do you feel up to asking DH directly why he's got a case of SOTL ( poo on the liver)? Or are you just going to bear the brunt? I was thinking maybe with the drinkies came some foxy lady dancing and hence the headahces and pain.... I hope AF stays away so you don't need to worry about IVF.
Melster - I haven't heard of raspberry leaf tea being used before 36 weeks - I would ask a traditional chinese medicine person or herbalist before trying it. I highly recommend accupuncture and TCM herbs to help restore uterine lining. I have used both and AF came when and how they said it would. This will be a light AF with 2 days of bleeding - and it was, and it was like that for 3 or 4 cycles... spot on every time... then I stopped for other reasons. I also found it relaxing - the sessions - a chat about how you're going, the treatment, and then 30 mins at least of peaceful music and just being calm and lying still. It was bliss.
Thanks for the words of encouragement too. I really appreciate them. I will be crying too don't worry about that, but tears of joy. Forshelby - the news you get at your scan will be great - but the fear is so understandable and consuming.
All this talk of sausage sizzle is making me jealous.... only another 2 weeks to go until the stitch comes out and DH and I will contemplate a sizzle at home ( OMG that sounds like I am a out in public sneaky sizzler - lol) . Woot Woot. The drought will be over briefly. Maybe its more supportive in here, because we're all so open about our sausage sizzles and how we are feeling?
-
KellBell- Yes we will have a great conception story to talk about if we get lucky at the Draft...lol....I never even thought of that....I can just imagine the look on our son/daughters face when we told them at an appropriate age of course....lol...... That would be something I would save for the teenage years when they were complaining about something.....lol...
Bons- If it all goes to plan DD will be having her own little camp area way down the other end of the Gooseneck away from us, But I couldn't give her a tent to sleep in by herself I would feel horrible, lol.I'm a very panicky mum and would be worried about her and wouldn't be able to DTD anyhow. Luckily we have a 7 horse gooseneck its 30 foot long we can be at the very front and DD can be down the very back. We have our own sleeping area in there and she won't know a thing, once she goes to sleep she's out like a light until morning no amount of any noise ever wakes her not that we are noisey....lol she is a very heavy sleeper which is a good thing wish I could sleep like she does when we go away...
Loops12- I hope you are feeling better soon and you get your long awaited BFP very soon, FX for you and sending you lots of :pink-babydust: and:stickyvibesgirl: I have my FX for you darl.
Forshelby- I will definately be taking it all with me....picture this...me off trudling to the loo with pee jar and OPKs oh yeah its gunna be a great sight....:tmi:......but I can promise I will have a great week end though....lol....
Mum22- I am great sailing along with AF CD3 for me today.....but sorry if TMI but I have been having a fair few clots pass today and getting a bit crampy before I pass them not sure what thats about....hoping its just a bit of rubbish in there my body is cleaning out ready to be UTD....lol....I'm hoping anyhow:pray:
And how are you feeling today? Hope today was alot less stressful for you than yesterday darl.
Dory- Wow 2 weeks to go before they remove your stitch that is totally awesome I am just so pleased that you will be bringing that gorgeous little new born home soon darl. Pardon my ignorance ( not really ignorance just I have no idea) but I have never had anything to do with having a stitch put in but I do have a question for you please if you don't mind me asking......are you not able to DTD when they stitch you??? You don't have to answer it if you don't want too please don't think I'm prying I'm just really curious.
Hoping everybody in here is feeling good and keeping healthy. And for everyone doing the TWW I have my FX for you all.
Whew that was a long post for me must be having BB withdrawals.....lol.....
-
Clairesmummy i can see your teenagers face too as you tell them the story too funny!!!!
Good luck and lots of baby dust to you
Glenglen - yah for the +ve opk have fun and get that sausage sizzling :D
Mum22 - ahhhh your cute little belly. how was your day?
loops - hope things start looking up for you we are all here for you xoxox
dory - are you and your DH going to remember what to do :p
sorry im sure ive missed people
Ive just been trying to clean the house - got a shift in the morning so no chance tomorrow to do it. its impossible with a DD who refused to nap or let me clean she just pulls it out right behind me. i turn around and its all undone
I sooooooo don't feel pregnant at all. Makes me stress but i maxed the dye out on the FR this morning how cool is that it was dark dark before the control line even appeared. i don't think it can get any darker so guess i should stop poas as that was my last one. come on symptoms i want to feel something!
-
Kell- I feel exactly the same.. i want symptoms.. NOW!! Sometimes i think i feel queasy.. sometimes i think i have sore bbs.. sometims i feel really tired.. but i actually think im just imagining it!! Maybe its still a bit early.. lets hope all those missing symptoms hit us soon!
Clairesmummy- I had to do the whole opk whilst camping thing.. it was a bit awkward! We were in the middle of the bush so i had to keep sneaking off with my little pee cup.. it was a bit hard to be discreet! Are u getting a lot of cramping with clots or just clots?? Hope af has been nice to u this month.. and if not then good riddance for atleast another year! :)
Dory- Im a bit interested in this whole stitch thing too.. i havent ever heard of having to remove a stitch?! Sorry im all new to this!
I so cannot believe u only have a few weeks left.. have u started nesting?? :)
Mum22- Oh i wld love to be getting a tummy cos im pg and not just being a pig! And yep im the same.. i want some real symptoms!! If u and kell get symptoms and i dont ill really be freaking out!!
Bons- When did u get sore bbs?? I know u said u went a couple of weeks without any symptoms and then suddenly u got some.. when did that happen??
Loops- Sorry to hear ur on a bit of a downer :( i hope ur dhs mood lightens up soon.. i reckon its probly just a bit of jealousy.. they dont like missing out on fun! So good to hear that u had a good night sat nite.. u need to let ur hair down every once in a while! Pls try not to think negatively.. u will get ur baby. xx
Melster- I think accupunture is a great idea. I have heard it really works.. it cld take a few cycles to fall pg but defintely worth a shot. I'm on elevit as well.. i think its got all u need for a healthy pg in it. I wldnt be drinking raspberry tea i dont think.. my SIL had it when she was trying to bring labour on.. i think thats the only time its good or yeah the few weeks before labour. Have u tried seeing a naturopath?? they always have herbal remedies to help fertility.. or even a natural health food store.. they can be a great help sometimes too!
Glenglen- Woohoo for O time! I got so excited when i saw a positive on a test! Have fun bding!!
AFM- It was pretty funny last nite while me and dh were bding.. dh froze half way thru with a terrified look on his face.. i had gone too deep apparently! We had to stop whilst he asked me where my ovaries are etc.. i guess he was trying to measure up how far in he went! hahaha how cute.. i had to tell him that my ovaries arent where the baby is anyway!
Anyway im off.. want to watch the ben cousins documentary! I used to think he was so good looking! :) xxx
-
Damprye- Have u tested yet??? :)
Forshelby- I cant believe ur almost 12 weeks! Another huge jealousy factor on my behalf! :) what day are u going for scan??
-
Reet same goes here, just dont FEEL preg. I will be jealous of anyone who gets symptoms.... But maybe we should be grateful for the lack of MS perhaps??
Kell, I'm good sweetie. Ooh maybe I should go and get a FR test just to see that happen....hmmm what a waste of money my brain says......
Hope you girls have a good day, will do rest of persies later DD screaming at me right now :)

Hello Ladies,
Sorry i haven't been keeping up with this thread! Have been lurking but find it hard to find time to post.
AF arrived for me last Friday so i am on CD7. DH is starting a working away job soon so it might make the TTC journey a little harder! I think we still might have the chance this month though. I was reading up on Asherman's syndrome and i know you shouldn't self-diagnose by using the internet but i am a little scared that i have some of the symptoms. I think i will make an appointment with my GP as i have been feeling tired and dizzy lately too (iron deficiency no doubt).
Fingers crossed for more BFPs this month! Good luck to everyone!
x
-
Oh and i meant to say, to those who don't feel symptoms yet, i didn't feel pregnant AT ALL until about 8 weeks with DS so please don't worry!

Mum22 - Your preggy belly is never anything to be embarrassed about. But I know what you mean... hehe. I see skinny teenagers out shopping and I look down and all I see is BOOBS, and BUMP. And I think 'ah, I used to wear miniskirts'. But you know what... what we're getting is so much better than a miniskirt. :) Don't worry about the vague symptoms, mine never really got full on. Mostly for me it's just been tender nipples, and on and off nausea with and without vomiting. The big one for me though is tiredness! I can't sleep enough. Things generally change on a day to day basis. I say put your feet up and enjoy the ride!
Dory - LOL, 3 bb crushing cats would be torture! I only have the one cat and the dog to contend with, and sometimes I find myself screaming 'ENOUGH! WHY DO YOU HAVE TO STAND ON MY CHEST?!' They just look at me with their innocent faces, like 'what, mummy?' I hope you enjoy breaking the drought and sizzling that sausage! Maybe a sneaky public sizzle is just what you need... LOL.
Clairesmummy - That was an amusing image, you and your pee jar. :) Sounds like an interesting weekend away though!
Kellie - Oh dear, naughty DD.... but so cute! Try not to worry about symptoms. They will come. :)
Reet - LMAO @ your DH. :o sometimes the cluelessness of men is just hilarious. I had a similar conversation with DP last night when he mentioned dtd and something about his... er, thing whacking the baby on the head. I laughed, and said it's physically impossible, and not to flatter himself. HAHA... I'm not sure if he knows it's not possible, or what. It's funny how men can be so mechanically minded, but have no idea whatsoever how the thing they're constantly sticking THEIR thing into is built. I might have to get a 'where did I come from' book for him. *chuckle* Thanks for the laugh! Tell me though, if your DH thinks he can dislodge or hurt the baby with his er, manhood...... how does he think the baby is kept in there?? Wouldn't it fall out whenever there wasn't a penis in there to keep it in? LOL.. omg, the images are making me laugh again. Men! Now, to answer your question (still laughing here..) I'm going for my scan on your anniversary. You must have preggy brain.... congratulations! A symptom!!! :)
Stoked - I hope you get your bfp soon, hun. And get to a doctor if you're concerned about your health. That's why women live longer. We aren't too tough to see the doc. :)
AFM, I just have to tell you about my crazy dream this morning. For some reason I was at my mum's house with my sister, (we both moved away so that in itself is strange). Anyhoo.... something weird was going on but I don't know what. We were outside, mum and my sister in the backyard, me up on the back steps. I was terrified of going and standing downstairs, and I just felt like something horrific was going to happen for no apparent reason. We were all looking at the sky, and trying to figure out what was up with the sun and the clouds. The only way to describe it would be like everything looked like a watercolour painting. All.... blendy and weird. The colours of everything were all wrong. And kept changing. One minute the walls were white, then they were their normal yellow, then they'd change back. It was like my sister and I knew something bad was about to happen though, and she kept filming what was going on to 'send to the government' (LOL). The sky started to change, and the clouds looked like one big solid piece of grey covering everything, and the sun was a weird glow behind it. Suddenly I panicked and I said "It's time to go inside NOW." My sister listened, and hurried up the steps. But my mum, it was like she was drugged out or something! She stood there just staring at the sky, and not really saying much. I kept telling her to hurry up, and just as she got to the steps, the ground started to move. There was this horrible throbbing thumping sound, and the neighbours yard was lifting in little sections, like tiny mountains. Peaking and then falling down flat again. I could see it kind of rippling towards our house, and I knew it wasn't going to be a good thing. My sister and I kept yelling at mum to get her butt up the stairs, but she kept just saying 'why? what's the hurry? It's nice out here.' with this creepy smile on her face. I grabbed her hand, dragged her inside and slammed the door. Then I woke up.
WTF!!!!!! I know you're supposed to have vivid dreams, but what the heck is that supposed to mean?! I'll be out the front waiting for the men in white coats.
-
Morning
Stoked- yeah i think you should go to the dr's and get checked out...just to be sure and good luck with TTC
Forshelby- what a dream!!!! i used to get heaps vivid dreams when i was pregnant...
me...........well i cant say im having a good week...it must be PMS and my periods are starting to get heavy....im very negative and down....maybe things will cheer up once my period stops and we can start TTC'ing again.....hubbie sent a msg about when can we try again and he will lay of the smokes etc....so least he is in a bit better mood.....i start acupunture monday so maybe that will help with my moods and somewhat depression..
Can i ask, what were you're periods like after you're miscarriage??
-
Melster - I know. What a weird dream. I've always had vivid dreams but this one just takes the cake!!! Mmm... cake. I have to get some cake right now. LOL... To answer your question, my period was pretty much the same after my mc. They did actually regulate to 28 days instead of 30, but I'm one of those people you probably want to punch for being lucky when it comes to my body doing what the textbooks say it will. Ok, I'm ready to be punched... hehe.
It's ok to feel down, that's what your period is all about. It's so natural to feel crummy. Have some cake with me and concentrate on the next coming month and the joy your bfp will bring when it does arrive. Hopefully this month!
-
forshelby-Dreams have a funny way of telling whats on you're mind...its sounds like you may be worried about something...do you dream in colour?
Im kinda lucky my period has always been 28 days, and i even ovulated 16 days after the d&c......the only thing is i was spotting but thats obviously because its going to be heavy...i didnt bleed after the d&c at all so maybe this will be a real heavy one.....would this mean i would ovulate later i bleed for many days...as my normal period is only 3-5 days long...
Im just a bit low...i really had my hopes set on being pregnant straight away..and now everythings come crashing down and im thinking about the miscarriage...
anyways...i need to lift my spirits up and look forward to trying again....its just all the waiting
i have a baby shower to go to this weekend, so the only way i can do it is by having a few drinks....and not being a blubbering mess...
-
Melster - I do dream in colour, yes. Most of the time my dreams are dark though, like it's always nighttime. For some reason this one was a during the day type, but it was dark because of the weird clouds. I don't think I'm worried about anything... Nothing on the surface, anyway.
It's ok to feel low, just go with it hun. Walk through it and it'll pass eventually. I'm not sure about your ovulation question, perhaps some googling is in order for that? I know you want to be pg right away, to get on with your life and get closer to fulfilling the dream of having a baby. This is one of those things that might take some time. Are there any things you can do to help pass the time? Any hobbies? It's so hard to take your mind off it, I know.
And if you don't feel up to going to the baby shower, I'm sure the mum to be would respect your choice if she knows your situation. If she doesn't, perhaps let her know, and give her the chance to show empathy and understanding. I went to a baby shower a few months after my mc, and it was tough, but also very liberating. I only went because she was a close friend, and she said she understood if I didn't want to go. I really did though, and I had a great time. The choice is yours, hun.
:)
Now to eat that chocolate pudding I made. Pudding is almost as good as cake.... mmm.
-
Now you're making me hungry Forshelby! I love that about being pregnant, how hungry you get... i LOVE my food, especially sweet stuff, and eat HEAPS when i am pregnant.. probably why i put on at least 20kgs with both babies!! Oops!!
Melster, my periods were pretty much normal after miscarriage, probably a bit heavier to start with, i did have a d&c though so maybe that's why. It's ok to feel down, you don't have to force yourself to feel better, just take your time... you'll feel better in your own time. I have adopted the attitude that i will get pregnant and have a healthy baby when the time is right, when the right baby is ready to come along.. only cause believing this makes me feel better! It won't be long xx
Going to the Chiro today as my neck has been stuffed all week.. Can't wait for a good crackin'!!
Have a great day ladies
x

Forshelby - LMAO.... you can just be so funny sometimes. Weird dream, hope it didn't unsettle you. Got me thinking though about whether I dream in colour or not. The BB crushers have been good the past few days.. phew, but can totally relate to that innocent look they give after they are the cause of so much agony. I love the new ticker too btw.
Melster - I agree with Forshelby.... to go to a baby shower is a HUGE deal after a loss. Only go if you actually want to. If you do go, have some back up plans in case you get really upset and can't cope... so plan to leave if you're upset, or excuse yourself and go somewhere quiet. I went to my nephew's partner's baby shower 6 weeks post loss... and I really enjoyed it. One of the reasons I went is that I didn't want to regret not trying to go. I was ok with trying and being overwhelmed and having to leave. I was glad I went...it was damn hard at times too. What made me even more glad to have gone was my nephew's partner went into labour 2 or 3 days later so I saw them all again within a week. My nephew was pretty awesome too when I arrived, he came out and hugged me and said simply " I am just so sorry, it must be hard for you". Pretty damn good for a 22 year old, who's just about to welcome his first child into the world. I have to say I wouldn't go if you need to drink to go. First of all you can't leave when you want to as you may not be able to drive yourself, and I would want to be thinking clearly about how I was feeling, so I could be on top of how I was travelling. But of course, it's up to you. Drink when you get home to drown your sorrows. Hope it goes well whatever you decide.

forshelby- i have been searching the net about everything lately, my mind is so overloaded LOL....the reason why i asked if you dream in colour is because my mum does...and apparently alot of people only dream in black and white.....i remember mum saying something about people who dream in colour use a different part of there brain and they can be quiet physic etc..which my mum is..only if she could channel it correctly....
dory-i think i want to go to the baby shower, so i can be there for her. She doesnt have many friends and i want her to have a good day. Im ok at the moment about going, but its more i worry what i will be like when i am actually there and if it might hit me or not...i would have probably more been ok if i was actually pregnant again like i thought.....whether i can be strong or not is another story, and i only really talk about it on here and not really to my friends...well i dont go into detail with them...i find it too hard............she doesnt know about the miscarriage. I think having a few drinks will help and i have other friends going, but like you said if it gets to me i will have to have an exit plan..
-
stoked....yes i defiantly need to adopt that attidude....i am going to try really hard....!!!

Dory - It was a weird dream. I'm not so much unsettled, as just wondering where the heck it came from! I felt like a change with the ticker, and I saw one like this in another thread which says how big baby is. I love that. I'm so glad the bb crushers have been behaving. :)
Melster - Well, Reet thinks I'm psychic since I predicted her BFP about a month beforehand... it was like my chant, lol. I just think I develop connections to some people, and pick up on things. Some call it psychic, I call it intuition. I didn't know that dreaming in colour was out of the ordinary. I always have. I'm going to have to run a mini-poll now, LOL. I think Dory also made some good points about the baby shower, too. I definitely think you should tell her about your mc though. It's important she has the chance to be there for YOU, just as you want to be there for her. Plus if you have to make a quick exit, she'll know why, and understand. I would let her know in private. You have to believe me. I'm psychic, apparently... haha.
AFM, Ok here's the mini-poll as promised. How many of you dream in colour?
-
Dream in colour- not that i can remember
Forshelby- ok well if you get any predictions about me let me know LOL..my mum is exactly the same....
When i fell pregnant with this baby mum said before i even knew i was pregnant that i was pregnant...i was like yeah sure.....but sure enough i was pregnant...she knew before i did....
Then she had a dream.....me and my family were standing around and there was this tiny baby up in the corner in a box (not a funeral box) and he was just sitting there waiting and looking at us all......the full on thing about it, was it was the exact time my baby died....and it was a boy........it gives me shivers
and she just had a dream a week ago about her girlfriends son......she dreamt her friends son and daughter in law were holding a baby, that she was having a baby....so she told her girlfriend and the girlfriend said... ummmm i was allowed to tell you after todays scan...!!!!
and this time she said she didnt get a feeling i was pregnant, but was hoping i was..
She does it all the time and its spooky....she just gets feelings about things...
-
Forshelby - I can dream in both colour and black and white, and the weird thing is....sometimes i can change the direction that my dream is heading in, its like hitting rewind then starting again, doesnt always give me a happy ending though! Wow your Baby is as big as a lime!!! I used to love analgy's like that for Dh!
Reet - Good luck on the big drive tomorrow, To answer your question, my bb's have been sore for about a week and a bit now!
Melster - Good luck on your decision with the baby shower, Like Dory said I would have an exit strategy in place before going just in case. xxx
Stoked - Everytime AF arrived i would feel the black cloud envelope me for a few days, It is really hard to be postive when you have got PMS! Good Luck xxx
Hugs to everyone I have missed xxx
AFM - Wasnt in a good place to post yesterday, a friendship of mine ended and i didnt really see it coming so i felt really blindsided, but things happen for a reason.
On to the good news!!! I took DS for his immunisations today, little trooper didnt even shed a tear! and got my hcg results.......25903.....I started crying with happiness! So the Dr gave me an u/s referral cuz either my dates are out or maybe twins????
xxxx
-
Forshelby, thanks sweetie. The tummy is a little on the funny side I reckon. ;) Bet your little belly is looking cute nowadays!! Know what ya mean about the skinny minis out and about. I used to do it and although am still skinny wouldnt do it these days thanks to my little bit of flab gained from each preg (worth it tho..) I just seem to have a little flab in places I never used to so although my weight has remained the same my body has changed a little. Ah it is a body which tells a story ;) And here I am again with no 3.....CRAZY ME!!
Bon, sorry about the friendship ending sweetie!! Congrats about the HCG results. Yay for twins!!! Were you taking clomid??? Aw it is all very exciting. I was just figuring out what my HCG level should be by today if it continued to multiply as quickly as it did within the 4 days within the last test... should be around 2600 or thereabouts for 4w6d pregnancy. Hmmm all very exciting I say.
Reet have a good trip sweetie!!!
Catch ya's all later!!
-
Melster - That's really interesting. I'll let you know if I get any vibes hehehe..
Bons - They call that lucid dreaming, and it's great fun! I can usually do that if I partially wake up, but want to continue the dream, so I just go back to the start if it was a good one, or if it was a nightmare, change the storyline.. lol. And I just said that to my DP, "Oooh, baby's as big as a lime! Only 200 days to go!" he smiled and said "only..." lol. Sorry to hear about your friendship, that's very sad news. Great to hear about your DS being such a trooper though, how cute. And OMG twins? :o how exciting! Those number are sky high, baby! :) Keep us posted!
Mum22 - I can't believe I'm starting to show already.... it's crazy. I keep prodding my belly to make sure I'm not imagining it. It's got a layer of soft, then blam! Rock hard! And no, I don't do situps... lol. I didn't expect to be showing for another month at least. I must have a fat baby in there, or maybe it's all the cheeseburgers. Oh god... how good would a cheeseburger be right about now. LOL That pudding I had yesterday sucked. I don't know what it was, it just sucked. So disappointed!
Reet - Have a great trip away, will be thinking of you on your anniversary as they spread jelly on my tummy... hehehe. That sounds kinda kinky. :D
AFM, had a great night's sleep last night, and feeling refreshed in general. Then I remembered I have to have bt's on Monday. Ewww.... hate them so much. And hate going all by myself, too. :( it's the gold coast show holiday today. MAN I could go for a dagwood dog... or a cheeseburger. OR BOTH!

Hi Lovely Ladies
Melster ~ Very sorry AF has arrived hun, the low flo could certainly be because of the m/c and d&c im assuming. My flows were a bit all over the place for a few months after the m/c - as in light and then heavy etc. Chin up, you'll be back to normal before long - try to stay busy. Yes DH definitely does get upset when I go out without him. I think that was part of the reason for his moods. He's a very jealous/sensitive guy. Thanks for your thoughts hun.
Mum22 ~ Thanks so much - means a lot. This IVF will be a bit more than our previous ones as we are doing an Antagonist cycle this time and the needles cost more apparently. I think the pre-payment is about $5600.00 but we will get 50% of that back from Medicare. Hope you start getting symptoms soon hun - to put your mind at ease. :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
Dory ~ thanks for the hugs and the kind wishes xo. I love that "Poo on the liver" LOL I think you might be right. GL with the stitch coming out and ROFL about the sausage sizzle - have fun ;)
Clairesmummy ~ thanks heaps - means a lot xo. FX your BPF is just around the corner as well!
Kellbell ~ thanks hun xoxox. Hope you start getting symptoms soon as well to put your mind at ease. Save your $$ - no more POAS's LOL
Reet ~ thanks hun - you are right DH gets jealous quite often over a number of things. I did have a great night - no regrets even if DH did get mopey LOL.
That is so funny about your DH ROFL.
Stoked ~ Hope you clear up with the GP about the tiredness and dizziness and GL TTC this month. FX for BFP's in Sept!!
Forshelby ~ What a dream. No idea what it would mean. GL working out that 1 LOL
Bons ~ Sorry about your friendship ending. I guess throughout our live we'll have friends come and go. I know it is hard though - hugs. Very exciting about your HCG - hope its twins or just a very healthy bub :D
Hi to anyone ive missed - hoping you are all well xoxo
AFM ~ Feeling much better today - DH and I are good again. Turns out it was a bit of a mis-understanding as well as a bit of jealousy i think. I just wanna get over it and move forward. Because DH was finally talking to me we were able to discuss finances and IVF so I think we will be ok to come up with the money - DH is pretty confident. Think AF is def on the way and will be here by Sun/Mon. I did POAS on Wed night which was BFN
-
Forshelby - I never knew it had a name! Everyone I have ever mentioned it too looks at me like Im losing it!, I can remember getting a can of coke out of the cupboard handing it to Dh and saying this is how much our baby weighs now, it was nice to show him real things, and because he was away so much i would send him weekly updates on what was happening in my tummy that week, it was nice for him to be involved that way! I have been laughing at your thoughts of food! xxx
Matthewsmum - Good luck for the transfer today! I hope everything is on track for this emby to get comfy! xxx
Mum22 - i havent been taking clomid and there isnt a history of multiples in my family for about 3 generations, and no history on Dh's side either, it is very comforting knowing the hcg levels are climbing isnt it...xxx
Reet - I hope your first big symptom is lots of wee stops on this drive :) travel safely!
xxxx

Bons I did a little lurking in the BB preg threads and those levels are what ppl in the preg threads are saying they have at around 6 weeks or so pregnant so it may just be normal levels :) They certainly aren't massively high compared to the levels some of the people in there are reporting. So they seem to be good levels :) He he.
AFM feel a little quesy and just had a chat with a g.f on the phone in which she described something her DS did which made me feel like vomitting. Now that is odd for me. Also DD's nappies are a little bit of a handful to change in that they are also making me feel queasy and they are nothing out of the norm so I know it has to be me..... hmmmmmm I now remember a comment I made last pregnancy.."thank goodness DD is toilet trained and I dont have to change nappies when pregnant cos I couldn't handle it" and so here I am obviously that comment really didnt sink in cos I woulda spaced my kids the same again ;)
Oh it is all good. I had a good night (stress free) as I lay in bed nauseous and feeling like I was sea sick for sooo long before I went to sleep. So levels must be increasing so that is good.
Forshelby, yummo, cheeseburgers you have my mouth watering at the thought of it and I normally get mouth watering cravings for chocolate and biscuits when not pregnant so this is also unlike me. Thankfully a cheeseburger is a drive to get so we wont be going there.
Well I am off to sort out my DD's lunch......what to make what to make ;)
-
Hi Everyone!
Bons- Yay for great numbers!! When will u get the scan done??
Loops- Glad ur dh has gotten over his little stroppy mood ;) its funny with guys they like kinda holding a grudge about little things we do or say and they wont actually tell us what its over! I find if dh does or says something i dont like i cant wait to get him away and tell him I dont like it!! haha. Yay for being able to afford ivf.. bring on oct! Or a sneaky bfp is sept.. i have been reading about a couple ppl in other threads having ivf booked in and then getting their bfp a couple weeks beforehand! :)
Forshelby- Yes do be thinking of me whilst u get jelly smeared all over ur tummy.. lucky its not going to be done using the internal scan.. now THAT wld be kinky!!! hahaha. Will ur dp be able to go with u?? I hope so.. i think that helps to make it all feel real for them.. i cant wait for our first scan.. i think once my dh sees that heart beating away he will know its for real! Right now he probly feels like hes imagining the whole thing!
Oh and ur dream was really bizarre! I reckon it has a dark kind of meaning.. nothing negative to do with baby but maybe to do with ur mum or something? who knows! Hope ur dreams are sweet from now on :)
Mum22- Yay for the m/s!! Pass some onto me! I actually do sometimes feel sick.. if i am hungry or if i eat too much.. just cant win! haha but its nowhere near vomiting just yet.
Melster- Yes forshelby is defintely psychic!! If she tells u its ur month believe her! I was so sure she was wrong when she told me.. to tell u the truth i only poas early so i cld come on here and go 'See i told u im not pregnant!!' well that backfired! But it was defintely excellent how it did pan out :) Hope ur looking forward to O time! Is ur dh ready for the bd bonanza?!
I think it was u that asked the question what af was like after m/c.. my first one was extremely heavy and really bad cramps.. that was after like 3-4 months of not getting af after m/c tho.. so it wld have been a big build up. I hope ur feeling a bit happier now.
Stoked- Hope the chiro fixed ur neck yesterday!
Im so sorry ladies if i have missed u.. cant go back any further on this page.. and really need to go and pack!
But quickly.. i went and saw my midwife this morning and got my bt results from yesterday.. at 5w2d my levels are at 9000!! i counted that they shld have been around the 5000 mark if they had been doubling since the 650 i got on thurs last week.. so thats almost double what they shld have been by yesterday! so im feeling very very happy :)
Getting the bt yesterday didnt make me too happy tho, i think my veins need a break.. the lady said they both feel very scarred on both arms.. and they really hurt this time. so im just going to relax until my first scan now!
Im so happy how things are right now.. i love my midwife.. i found her when i had m/c and she was lovely.. i cld ring her directly anytime and ask her questions etc.. and she does everything such as give me scan and bt referrals and its only $40 to see her! Bargain! Im also going to see my ob. every month so this little baby is going to get lots of attention! :)
I will probly be back on here tonight but if i dont get a chance i will be back in the next few days.. im so glad i have a laptop with wireless.. i dont think i wld survive not being able to come on and see how everyone is going!
xxx

Thanks Reet ~ Yes it was annoying that he put me under stress for basically nothing - grrr men. Im just gunna try and forget about it. I think im supposed to be on the pill in Sept on the lead up to the IVF but Im doing a Antagonist cycle and not too sure if I am suppoed to go on pill this time. And my nurse hasnt called about any of it yet so Im getting a bit concerned that they might not have my name down for it in Oct - that would be really crappy. Might have to try and ring them.
YAY for your results - that is awesome! GL hun xo

hi ladies,i've got lots of pages to catch up with again, just a quick update, had transfer today,we lost 1 embie in the thawing process, transfered 1,bt due on Tuesday week.Big hugs to all
-
Hi Matthews mum - sorry about the one that didnt thaw but all the best for the one little fighter you have inside you now. Enjoy being PUPO! :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
-
Matthew's Mum- Yay for the transfer and sending lots of sticky vibes to you and everyone else :)
I didn't test. I ended up being 7 days late but at least now I know. I am not moving in with DP yet, call me crazy if you must but I want to make sure that we are steady before taking anything further.... including chidren. If I am interprtating him wrong then it means I am the one having the doubts. I do want to move in and start our family but at the same time I am scared that everything will go wrong. Plus I have debts to deal with before anything else, I would rather be on top of everything.
-
Mathew's Mum - All you need is one! Put your feet up and enjoy ( as much as you can) the time until your BT on Monday.... Good luck and I have EVERYTHING crossed for you... even my little fur babies do! I really do hope embie is sticky.
Loops - sorry about the unexpected surprise with having to let a friendship go, but I agree things happen for a reason, it might just take some time to find out what it is.... just don't beat yourself up about it.... so glad that the SOTL have passed, that you had a D&M and it's all good for Sept... this must be one of the few times that you're actually looking forward to AF arriving, cause then you can start your cycle! I was sooo excited when I read AF was due for you this weekend.... my GF is in what she calls "infertility limbo" at the mo... half way through an 8 week wait for some genetic testing to come back. No IVF cycles and no au natural either (due to worry about the possible genetic condition). And actually, she's the happiest and most upbeat I've seen her in ages, maybe the enforced break is indirectly a good thing for her? She's been TTC for about the same time as you. It's a damn long road. My GF is starting to think about adoption.. which her DH was always strongly against, before now, but isn't anymore.
This is left field, but I just looked at your avi and realised your kelpie was a black and tan. Just gorgeous. I had a red cattle dog for a while when I was a kid, but she ate the neighbours chooks and was otherwise naughty, so she went back to the pound and we exchanged her for a belgian shepherd, who I just adored ( sort of like a slim framed long haired german shepherd), but whose colouring was black and tan. Then years later my Dad got a red cattle dog, and I just connected with her, even though I only saw her every 6 months or less. When I visited we were inseparable. But my Dad was naughty and used to over feed her and the poor thing was a little barrel on short short legs, but totally divine. Even though I have 3 cats now and am a convert, I still adore dogs, and have since as long as I can remember. Except the doberman that bit me as a kid, but I probably deserved it. Anyway, enough reminiscing.
Bons - excellent
Reet -awesome
Forshelby - I went through a stage 10 years ago of being a tad addicted to dagwood dogs, and paid the price - fatty boomba attack.... so even though one part of my mind savours the idea, the rest of me says "No Dory No". And the No wins out.
Not much else to say.. sorry to those of you I've missed.
-
Reet - Oh yes, I'm so hoping they don't want to do an internal one again..... though I must say it wasn't as horrifying as I expected. I had an internal exam at the hospital when I had my mc, and it was all fluorescent lights, legs spread eagled, NO modesty sheet.... just there naked for the world to see. It was pretty awful. This time I was all covered and the room was nice and dark and she took a quick peek so she knew where she was going, then didn't look again! Bliss! It did feel weird having a woman with a large foreign object wiggling it around in there though....... LOL omg I'm laughing now. Afterwards she said 'ok I'll leave you alone now with a box of tissues' and I just burst out laughing and said 'that would be great'. :D I hope DP can make it to the scan with me, but work is very unpredictable. They're of the mindset that there's work to be done and NOTHING is more important. He also has this complex about asking them for anything, and feels like he'll be frowned upon for asking for an early finish so he can come with me to see his BABY. I booked it as late as I could though so I really hope he can make it. I'll be so disappointed if he can't, maybe even a bit annoyed he didn't just frigging tell them he needs to finish early. Is he going to be pussyfooting around when I'm in labour? I hope not! I need his support and want him to be a part of the whole thing, not just standing on the sidelines watching me get fat. *large exhale* Ok, rant over. LOL. About my dream though I often have negative thoughts about my mum so you might be onto something there. So good to hear your hcg is so high, that's great news! When is your first scan booked in for?
Matthews mum - So good to see you in here again. And so sorry to hear you lost 1 embie during thawing. RIP little embie. I'm really excited about this transfer, hun.... my spider sense is tingling! Good luck!
Dory - LOL.. you gave me an image of the nicabate ads where there's that crowd of people saying 'NO GARY NO' hehehe. I need to think about that instead of dagwood dogs! But they're sooooooooo good. Perhaps I can make my own mini ones and not feel so guilty? :D Ok, I need to join dagwoods anonymous. LOL
AFM, call me crazy, but isn't morning sickness meant to get BETTER about now? For the last 2 days I've felt sick all bloody day. I haven't actually been sick, but I feel so bad I'm just lying on my side on the couch most of the time, looking somewhat like a potato. Oh, and DP bought me a lovely box of chocolates today because as usual I was drooling walking past the store. He still reserves the right to call me fat-belly though. Hahaha... I laughed so hard when he came out with that. I said "I'M NOT FAT, I'M PREGNANT! I need a milkshake." And yes, I got the milkshake. LOL.
Oh and while Dory's on the subject of cute dogs, we got our little foxie a new bed today. He's very rebellious about his other bed, and insists on snuggling in MY bed with me (and DP and the cat.. yep it gets pretty full in there), so we thought we'd try a different style of bedding. Long story short, we weren't sure if he would like it or if the cat would enjoy it more, so we just left it in the lounge to be claimed. 5 minutes later, here's our little puppy, snuggling into the bed and periodically running to get a new toy to put in there. He loves it! Now to get the cat her own bed so she stays out of mine!
-
Just thought i would pop in and say gday to you all, I can't believe how much I have missed in 2 days in here unbelievable.......sounds like everyone is doing really well which is great. Not much happening here for me atm AF has left and just cruising along now. Hope everyone has a great week end.
