afm nothing new, day 3 of clomid, bit of a headache but we went looking at christmas lights last night so didn't get home until really late so i that is why. i for one will be glad to see the back of this year and hopefully start the new one with great news !

my doc appt went good, i am ovulating, which is a huge relief, now he just wants me to use maybe baby this month, get a blood test a week after i think ive ovulated and if i get my period a have to call him, he will work out the exact day ive ovulated and put me on some tablet that releases 2 eggs a month instead of one?? (i dont know much about it, he hasnt told me much yet, cuz of the ectopic he is a bit hestitant to put me on it!)

AF has arrived this morning! I'm not really that upset either, I knew it was a small chance after having a DnC that I would fall straight away, I find most women have at least 1 cycle first... So happy to get this out the way and enjoy Christmas!
Do you girls think i will go back to my normal cycle after this or could it be out of whack? I normally was a 32 day cycle, today would have been CD35... I guess thats not that bad hey! I aren't charting as I just want it to happen without knowing every sign, so I guess I will just work out when I should ovulate, i will have some kind of idea, i get the pains etc around O!

Hope you are all well and almost ready for Christmas, we picked up the kids Xmas layby yesterday, will have fun wrapping it all up lol! My new Christmas wish is to sell this place or get a contract! We have 2 ppl coming to look today and tomorrow so fingers crossed!

Im sorry but Im going to head out of this thread. I will pop in every now and again to see how you are all going and even though you and the ones that have moved on have been so lovely and supportive I just feel that because we are going through IVF and have very close to nil chance of getting PG naturally that I'm probably better in the other threads. Hi all. New to the thread. Lost my baby in Oct. at 12 wks and feel like I can't put it behind me and be happy until I'm pg again. Also feeling very jealous and bitter towards every pg woman I see.... Anyway, 6 DPO and going crazy with the wait. All I want for Christmas is a BFP! It's nice to have a place to go where others understand. Thanks.

Loops~ I'm going to miss you, but I agree with what you said, I think in all fairness I will be moving on from here soon as well, my journey has now gone past the TTC after a MC or Loss and is looking like it will be something we will have to work on for awhile yet. But good luck to you hun, I hope you have a wonderful Xmas and a great 2011, I will be crossing everything for you to get your long awaited BFP next year hun. Take care. oh my god i got so excited today, ive never been able to figure out when im ovulating, after going through one million sticks, i finally bought maybe baby to help me with it so this morning i seen ferning and i took a test today i got a double liner on my stick, i was so happy.. so fingers crossed that this month it will work!!

ck08 - sorry to hear hun, i know what ur saying about being bitter and jealous, i was exactly the same! believe me, i still am but not as bad, it will get better with time

ck08: after my ectopic i fell pregnant straight away, the ectopic caused me to bleed for 6 weeks or so but the first time hubby and i dtd i feel preg, so there is hope for you! did your doc advise you to wait for a couple of cycles to let everything calm down?

Alish- no, the doc said we could ttc right away and I would fall pg when my body was ready. Hoping that it's soon!

Hello everyone.

Its been 1 week today.. and thankfully ive stopped bleeding YAY. Im a lil emotional today. So please excuse the lack of personals.

My OB told me to have at least 2 cycles before TTC. As soon as he told me.. I thought.. NO WAY!!! DH and I haven't DTD in WEEKS.. so im keen as beans to get a roll in the hay!! Sorry if TMI!! And if we fall pregnant.. all the better!
I have also been told by a few women that you are more likely to fall straight away. Whether there is truth in it... ?? Im happy to be a guinea pig!!!

Anyway... been drawing my memorial pic for our Angel today... hoping to get it done ready for a frame. Ill get back to it.

Minnie~ Hey darl, yes my OPTs arrived today, have done 1 so far and I have a faint test line. Everything is going really well so far anyhow. Had a few cramps yesterday like my usual O pain but a little more constant and alot earlier than in previous cycles, which I'm taking as a great sign for the Clomid doing it's job for me. FX. Today is CD12 for me. Hope your O time comes around quickly for you hun and you can get time to get BDing, good luck and baby dust and sticky vibes for the both of us hey.

AFM~ CD12 for me today, had a few O pains yesterday but nothing much else happening, we have taken our OB/GYNs' advice and kicked off our BDing early in the cycle and we won't be stopping until after I know I have O'd. We are dedicated this month as DF wants a spring bub....lol....I will just be over the moon if it all works out for us. Nothing to report on the SE from my Clomid as yet, everything is still the same with me but thinking I may FX O in the next few days which will be a huge acheivement in itself to O at this stage of my cycle. Never have i ever O'd any earlier than CD19, 25 and CD35 is the time I have been O'ing since my MC. FX and :pray::pray::pray: Clomid gets me to O and gives me a BFP first up......please please please.

AFM: CD29 (my ticker is wrong, AF hasn't arrived yet. FX she stays away). DOn't know what's going on with me. Have had strong cramping overnight last night and a lot during the day today. Some feels like AF-low in tummy- and some is at the sides; like I had when pg with DD. I'm scared every time i go to the loo that i'll see blood. I don't feel up to handling another AF and another month of TTC... but i know if she shows up i'll get over it. I just want to be pg so badly that i pray every time i go that there'll be no blood. I'm rotten with cold too so feeling pretty cr@ppy. I won't test again until Monday or Tuesday though (It was BFN at CD23- 11DPO i think- but that could've been too early i suppose). My longest cycle ever has been 31 days and that was a once off. I've been 28- 30 days usually. I'll let you know...

Possum magic- That sounds promising. Keeping FX for you. My AF is due Tuesday, and I am having similar cramping to yours, so I'm also feeling paranoid every time I go in case it's early.... It's so hard to tell when pg and AF symptoms feel so similar!

hi ladies, first a HUGE congrats to those who have BFP!!
Im new to this and not 100% sure if im in the right thread. Im 25, hubbies 24 and we lost our twins in september. I have PCOS and so AF has been away since i fell pg with the twins...until last night. Iv lost 10-15kg since end of september and am on womens balance herbs and after taking them for a week and a half AF has arrived. So i guess we r at the very beginning of ttc all over again. Hoping BFP before the end of 2011, so hope 2011 is all our year.
I have a gyno/obs appintment wednesday as i was going to go on clomid but im assuming as AF has returned i dont need it?? Any advice would be appriciated on Clomid as I dont know much.

AFM~ I as well am signing out of here for awhile as like loops has said it's getting to hard to see everyone come and go and still be sitting in the same place as happy as I am to hear you all get your BFPs it's still hard to never be able to get mine. It takes to much to try to keep putting out positive vibes when all I wanna do is give up and let things be. It's time for me to start focusing on other things in my life now not just the unsuccessful cycles we are having year after year. I've been in quite a bit of pain the past few days, my neck and back are out really bad, and can't afford to even see a doctor or chiro... so gotta wait until the new year but DF got me some great painkillers which seem to be working but they make me very drowsy...also my lovely little man broke my glasses so not been on the computer much...
I'm up to CD7... AF was only here for 3 days and 1 day of very light spotting so wasn't to bad... so now just waiting for O and hoping to catch the egg! Its getting closer to my sisters due dates and if I aren't pregnant by the time their babies come I dont think I'm going to be real happy as much as I will be for them... :( that sounds so bad as well but I guess I was meant to be due after them and not now :(

I guess i better be off..need to have a rest on the couch... dam these pills lol!

ill be the first one to put up my hand and say my god this whole ttc thing gets me down alot! Iv got a friend who is having twins and was about 4 weeks behind me. Now i get updates on facebook and pictures of her growing belly when mines not anymore :( i use to look at pregnent women in the shops or mums with twin prams and be so happy, now i feel horrible and want to just run past them. Going into kmart this time of year and how they have revamped it, you have to go past toys and baby supplies to get to shoes and maternity wear is right next to plus sizes (on a good note im no longer going to plus size clothes :D)

I guess there is only so much we can go through, the continued dissappointment of BFN all the bloody time doesnt help. I lost the plot with DH the other day and screamed "u dont know how it feels, i dont even feel like a women anymore". I felt so bad afterwards but thats how i feel (later realised it was hormones as AF came a day later).
I truly hope you ladies have success for when the time comes and come visit us often. Sending lots of love from frankston.

MummyDeb- I TOTALLY understand ur pain!! Im awaiting my 2nd knee op and am constintly dopped up to my eyeballs on my Norspan patch. Iv tried endone, panadine fort, oxycontin (made me chuck with the duromine) and have finally found the PAIN PATCH :D only issue like all narcotics is falling asleep ALL THE TIME!! (even during nursing lab) Hope everyone has a great day :)

shan: so sorry to hear of the loss of your twins, do you mind me asking how far along were you ? i also have pcos, were you taking metformin in the pregnancy and did you need clomid to fall pregnant in the first place ? don't answer if you don't want to :-) im in the middle of a clomid cycle now, it has worked for my DD and DS but i have also had 3 "natural" pregnancies that ended in m/c

clairesmummy & Loops: i understand that it is hard to be in here when you are needing more than "natural" conception, big hugs to you both and i wish you well on your journey's from here, we will keep in touch ;-)

afm: day 14 and nothing much to report, opt's still negative but hopefully will be positive by the weekend, we have started the 2nd daily dtd so hopefully will be covered when it eventually happens !

Shan85 - totoally sucks huh. Hugs to you. I have been losing it a bit lately - think I am finally getting some hormonal side effects from the Clomid.
Nothing I can't handle - I think it just exaserbates (sp?) the mood you are in already & if that's a ****ty mood then eek ;)

Shan85: i can only imagine the sadness of losing twins but IKWYM about how hard it is to watch people with growing bellies who were expecting close in time to you. My best friend is expecting 4 weeks before I was meant to be and others have also had babies around the time I was due to have had a baby earlier this year. It's very hard. It has often got me feeling down.
Mummytotwo: Grrr, hormones, don't they make you nuts? I hate feeling hormonal.

AFM: So, I had one horrible day of PMS-like irritability last Wednesday where i was ready to bite the heads off everybody. It passed but have had lots of cramping and sore boobs. But it just felt like AF mostly and I promised myself I wouldn't test again until AF was late. Which it was. So today (CD 32) I tested again. And....

So, here I am, about to ride the roller coaster again. I'm praying it's third time lucky. Going to see my OB tomorrow to start medication (Clexane and progesterone) as the OB thinks my two losses might be due to a blood clotting problem (i've also been on aspirin while trying).

I will stay in touch and let you know how it goes. It is of course such early days that it feels uncomfortable to even say that I'm going to have a baby at the end of this. But... it's a good start!

hi Minniemouse, I went for my 20 week scan and no heartbeats, They think that due to our "wacked out hormones" from the PCOS that there is a slightly higher risk of M/C. I was on no treatment as metformin would be useless as im a type 1 diabetic already. I didnt have much bleeding at all and havent had AF around since may. Just got it again for the 1st time saturday so i guess my weight loss has helped. I really dont mind too much talking about my M/C with you ladies coz i guess we have all been there (or otherwise we wouldnt be in this thread). So what now for me?? Iv lost 10kg since september 24th (date our babies died) and 10cm off my tummy. Iv got an appointment on the 10th Jan with my gyno/ob but will go to the gp and see about bloods to see if im ovulating.

I KNOW for a fact id be in a white straight jacket if it wernt for DH and both our families! My friends havent really been through the heart ache of loosing a bub but they have been there to listen to me venting. Lastly my gyno is gunna see about me going on clomid in the new year. Glad it worked for u and fingers crossed.
