Minniemouse - thanks for stalking me I feel special!
Nothing happening girls just waiting.....
-
Possum - FAN-bl00dy-TASTIC news!!!!!!! Well done on your BFP hun. Hope the meds & the next 8 or so months turn out beautifully :) :)
As for the rest of you lovely ladies - bbl for persies xxxx
-
Thanks ladies!
Joeve: I hope you go from ferral to fertile (i.e a BFP)!
Iona Macca: Thanks hun!
Minnie: I'm on low dose aspirin (like the oldies take). The brand I use is Cartia 100mg (it's coated so it doesn't upset your tummy). My OB told me to take it while TTC then to add Clexane (blood thinner) when i get a BFP (around 4wks pg).
Shan85: My heart goes out to you over the loss of your precious babies. I hope your angels have an earth sibling soon.
Mummytotwo: Thanks so much : )
-
Shan85- So sorry for your loss. I lost one and can't imagine losing two. Same thing, went in for my u/s and no heartbeat, such a shock. My heart goes out to you. And yes, seeing all those pg ladies around the stores, especially now at Christmas time, is really a downer.
possum magic- I thought so! Congrats!
AFM- AF showed up yesterday, so I'm back to square one. It was good and bad timing, as we had our holiday party yesterday and so I knew I could have some wine, but a friend brought her 1 week old baby with her and I had to try so hard to look happy for her and not jealous.
I'm sad that I don't have my BFP for Christmas. I would have been 5 months right now and I'm starting all over again. I would have had my baby in May, which would have been perfect since I'm a teacher, and now the soonest possible will be end of September, which is worse timing for work but as I have learned you can't really plan these things out the way you want.
Anyway, enough of my gloom. Trying to be of better spirit as it is the holidays. Good luck everyone and Merry Christmas.
-
:hooray: possum........congratualtions...a lovely christmas present for you...
Hello to everyone else...hope you have a wonderful christmas and some BFPS to follow...
ATM i have my scan tomorrow which i am absolutley petrified about....want to cancel and stick my head in the sand...but i know i cant
-
Hi all,
sorry it's been so long since I posted! I had to go through the thread and take notes so I'd be able to write to everyone!
Possum Magic - yay! That's wonderful news, and such a good Christmas present! I hope you start a trend. What water have you been drinking (nudge nudge wink wink):D :happyforyou:
Alishyay for an O line. That's interesting about the tablets releasing 2 eggs not just one- what are they?
MummyDeb Bugger AF. Horrible sow that she is, and that's being rude to pigs. I hope she's the last one for you for a while.
Loops12 I'm sorry to see you and ClairesMummy go. :( I do totally understand why though. Thank you both so much for your support and kindness while I've been in this thread & forum. All the best for your TTC efforts in 2011. This year can't end soon enough.
Tascha,ck08 and shan85, hello. I'm so sorry for your losses. I totally understand being jealous of pregnant women and being overcome with grief in the maternity sections of Target, BigW, Pumpkin Patch... basically anywhere that had a maternity section. Well done on your weight loss too; I've gotten rid of 8kg since I lost Baby Elvis and it feels good. (let's not talk about the remaining 22kg,okay?) I hope your stay in this forum will be short & sweet.
Mummy to 2 ( I think I've gotten your moniker wrong. Sorry!) Bugger AF! I'll keep my fx for you for next cycle.
Melster oh goodness. Sending you supporting thoughts. I hope it's not the same ultrasound room where you learned you'd lost your little angel. :( Let us know as soon as you can, won't you?
afm, I'm at cycle day 18. My planned 5 days of BD turned into 2 days, as there was a concert one night and we got home at midnight and were too exhausted; the last 2 nights were marked by DH being sick as a dog and not wanting to BD at all. Poor bloke. But I am hopeful; there are twinges around the uterine area that I didn't have last cycle. I shall keep my hopes up. My plan is to test at midnight January 1, assuming that AF doesn't arrive before then. Wouldn't a BFP be a nice way to usher in the new year?
Merry Christmas to all; I hope the festivities aren't too hard on us.
-
:confetti: yah Possum just wanted to sneak in to say congrats and cant wait to see you in the PAML thread have a wonderful next 8 months and lots of sticky vibes for you!
:stickyvibesboy:
-
Thanks ladies! Melster, good luck for your scan. IKWYM about how scary it is when it hasn't been good news before. But you've made it this far. Your chances are already so much better than a few weeks ago. Kirstenfleur: Ohhh, i hope those twinges turn into a BFP. Love the idea of testing at midnight first day of the year. Suitably dramatic! Kellbell: Thanks heaps. Hope you are well.
-
Yep all good here almost 22 weeks so feeling very blessed. I hope you have started a big trend in here - im so excited for you!!
-
possum.. congratulations!!!!! lovely xmas present!!
kristenfluer: i have no idea what the tablets are! he wont even tell me until he prescribes them, i guess cuz he really dosent want me to be on them!
afm: 7dpo.. been ridiculously cranky with sore boobs and cramps, dizziness.. i dunno what do u guys reckon???????
-

-
Just popping in very quickly to say a huge congrats to Possum, lovely happy news right in time for xmas.
And a huge thank you to everyone that has wished me well with my TTC journey, thanks ladies and I will be stalking you all in here to read all your BFPs. Good luck and I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Xmas and heaps of BFPs for 2011. Baby dust to you all and tonnes of sticky vibes.
-
Alish: Sounds very suss to me! i have been fooled by symptoms before (some pg and AF symptoms are so similar) but you are definitely in with a chance.
MummyDeb: Feeling your pain over thinking about your angel at this time and what might have been. My friend is having her baby in 2 weeks and I just got a jolt when I realised I was due in about 6 weeks. The time goes so fast. I hope by next Xmas you have another bundle to hold.
Clairesmummy: Thanks hun. Hope to see you around the threads with some good news soon.
Minniemouse: hope that egg pops soon! Shan85: hope AF leaves really soon, Joeve: how you doing?
-
Hello ladies! I've been a little behind on my BB since planning for the holiday festivities!
alish- it's so early at 7dpo to have such strong symptoms, but let's hope they mean a BFP is on it's way. When will you test?
KirstenFleur- It's hard when life gets in the way of ttc. Let's hope it worked anyway. FX for a New Year's BFP!
MummyDeb & minniemouse- good luck waiting to O. It's almost as bad as the tww! Hang in there.
Shan85- I'm with you. Hoping AF goes away soon. It's my 2nd since the m/c and (TMI) way heavier than it was before. Have you noticed a difference in yours?
AFM- Just waiting around here at CD3. I don't even think this will be our month either because we are going to visit family and staying at their house right when I'm scheduled to O.... not best for BDing. *sigh* I was hoping after m/c I could just get pg again right away so I wouldn't have to be sad about the loss anymore, but my counselor says that puts too much pressure on me (which is not good for ttc anyway) and I need to grieve the loss completely and relax about ttc. So I guess I will ease up a little bit- no charting, no stressing, no POASing.... and if it happens it happens. It's hard when you want something very badly to not do everything you can to get it, but even that isn't enough sometimes anyway so you have to leave the rest up to fate.
Trying to have a relaxing and happy holiday. Hope you ladies all do the same!
-
Hello,
Just wanted to take the time to say CONGRATS to those lovely ladies who got a lil Christmas wish granted. Tis the season of magic... so keep em coming.
AFM.. Still working my way through my emotions. Wondering if im having a normal cycle this month.. when id be ovulating, ect. I truly hope that im not going to send myself nuts with TTC. So here's to having a toast to chillen over xmas and catching eggys in the new year.
HUGS
-
i know its early days and i know the symptoms are similar, but whats the harm in positive thinking?
im not getting my hopes up, i never said the symptoms were strong, but i know my body well.
ill test when im overdue.
-
Alish...
Early days or not. Positive thinking is healthy and sometimes the only way to keep sane. Ive got everything crossed you get your Christmas wish. HUGS
-
thanks tascha.. having a bit of a hard time, boxing day would have meant 1 month to go.. unfortunatly im married to a mans man, you know? "she'll be right, dont be upset about it" etc etc oh well.. merry christmas xx
and merry christmas to all you other ladies, lets hope next year will be better for all of us xoxox
-
hi all, welcome to the new ladies, sorry for your losses...been thinking of you all & wanted to wish you all a manageable christmas...afm-waiting to 'o'
-
ck08, a few years ago i got AF and she stuck around for 6 weeks!! was really ill, landed in hospital for a week and 2 blood transfusuions. tomorrow will be a week since i first got it and its been very heavy, just hoping i dont get sick again :(
hope everyone has a great christmas and stay safe xx
-
well 7 days after AF popped her head up she went again :) yay for a normal period for once! lets hope it doesnt come back next month but i wont get my hopes up. Hope santa was good to everyone :) hows everything going possum??
-
Shan85 - yay for a normal period for you although you mentioned it was heavy? My last one was super heavy the first 3 days but I seemed to have 7 days worth of bleeding in 3 days as it petered off after that. Anyway, hope that is the last you see of her for quite some time!!
Possums - did I say congrats? If not big happy, sticky vibes to you!!
Seems a few of us in here are around O time yet again. I'm not sure DH's swimmers will be up to the task this month after all the xmas merriment he has partaken in (& me too for that matter). You gotta keep living though I reckon....
Anyway, good luck to all no matter where you are in your cycle. Good things have stated to happen in here so lets keep it going!!
How was everyones xmas anyway? We had a good one & the kids were totally spoilt. My little girl turned 3 yesterday too so had a bit of a pool party for her. Golly gosh they grow up so quick.....
BBL all x
-
Hi mummytotwo: Thanks for the sticky vibes! I'm praying hard for them myself! Sounds like you have had a happy time with xmas season. I agree, you've got to keep on living it up a bit too. Happy birthday for your little DD. My DD is nearly 3 and i also can't believe how big she is getting.
Shan85: Must be a great relief that AF left you in a week. Hooray for no dramas!
AFM: Going ok. Just hanging out to see my OB again in 10 days to see if there is a heartbeat. Crossing fingers every time i go to the loo that there is no blood!
-
hi all, possummagic-must be a worrying time for you,but remember their are lots of success stories after loss, try to focus on them..
-
Hello Everyone,
I am sorry for not doing any personals. I am reading everyone's posts daily.. kinda a routine now.
Hope everyone is having a great Christmas/New Years week. If I don't stop eating.. ill be gaining a dress size in a week! YIKKES.
HUGS and loads loads of baby dust raining down in buckets.
-
Hi everyone,
Shan85- phew! AF is normal and has gone, that must be a relief. I have week-long AFs too, they're no fun.
Tascha- hi! It's not an easy time of year, when you've lost a little one. :(
Everyone else- Merry Christmas! I hope you all had a lovely day. Ours was good, even though DD slept in till 9.30am (!) it gave us time to finish setting up the trampoline in the backyard. You've never seen such a delighted child as when she saw it. :D She made up for Christmas morning by getting up at 6 am on Boxing Day and running into our room and yelling "Time to bounce!"
AFM: still crampy in the uterine area. And I feel sick. This had better be a pregnancy, because if I'm feeling crappy for no good purpose I will be CROSS. FX!
-
tascha-bb can be addictive, but i think in a good way.i know in my early days after loss,it actually helped me get out of bed in the morning sometimes...kirstenfleur-when are you testing?...minniemouse-how are you?..
-
KF - oer sounds promising!! Yes, when is testing day? lol at DD & "time to bounce" :)
MM - I agree - it really helps to connect & read stories so similar to what you are going through. It can be a lonely, isolating time but thanks to BB it isn't AS bad....
Hi to everyone else - bbl for persies xxxx
-
Hey girls
Just a quick one, pretty sure I am O'ing as I have slight pains and also got EWCM, so might not be a 32 day cycle after all!.. so surely thats good news...we have DTD xmas eve, and boxing day then tonight was meant to be the next one but DF has gone to bed already..if Charlotte was in bed I would go try it on lol...but hoping maybe we have caught the egg with our last BD :)
Big hellos and hugs, be back sometime tomorrow hopefully :)
Night night
-
Oooo, sounds good MummyDeb! I hope you caught that egg! :fx:
Tascha, Mummytotwo, Matthew'sMum: I know what you mean about BB being addictive. At home I've had to firmly shut the study door, with me on the outside, just so I don't spend too much time on it. At work I spend most of the day gazing into a computer screen anyway, and nobody minds if I've got it open in a tab. BB was such a huge support after I lost the Little One, I think I'd have been a bit of a wreck without it. to everyone.
AFM- testing day is scheduled to be 12.01am 1st January 2011, aka CD29. If it's positive then I'll cheer and go to bed; if it's negative, I'll make straight for the nearest bottle of champagne and drain it. win/win situation. :D I'm feeling sick again today and my bosoms have started feeling tender, which they don't do before AF. Very hopeful... very very hopeful...
-
Managed to get more BD in last night :D so I think I did well this cycle, now its in the lap of the gods! I sure hope we caught the egg!!! Now the 2ww I sure hope it flys by!
Oh I hope you get a lovely BFP Kirsten! Will keep my fingers crossed for you and yes thats a win/win lol!
Big hellos and hoping everyone is going well..not long till 2011...surely its got to be all of us girls year for BFP and newborn babies :) fingers crossed for all of us and lots of :bluedust: and :stickyvibesgirl:
-
KF - win/ win for sure. Hoping the cork stays put in that bottle of champers though.
Will check in on you on the 1st. Symptoms sure sound good tho.
MummyDeb - well done with your bding this cycle. I would say you've got things covered nicely :)
Hi to everyone else.....
-
ok ladies, too many have been doing BDing so i joined in lol hopefully its all worth while.
Fingeres crossed for you KF, i agree its sounding good :)
2 more sleeps til new year and i know what im wishing for!! fingeres crossed 2011 is all our year and we flood the UTD forums
enjoy the sunshine for those in melbourne like meeeee:)
-
hi ladies, hope you all had a wonderful xmas!
af is 2 days late for me.. just waiting a few more days to see if shes just trickin me!
-
Hello ladies! Hope you all had a lovely Christmas. I was out of town so just getting back on BB after being away for a bit. Seems like lots of promising things happening in here. This is a busy month for me and DH, so I'm taking a break from charting and OPKs to try to calms things down. I'm not expecting this will be our month, but if it happens it will be a nice surprise. :) Still stalking you all, though, and hoping for many New Years BFPs.
-
ok, i couldnt wait a few more days so i took a test andddddd
:bfp:
i cant believe it!!!!!!!
