Dory I have often thought similar thoughts about my nephew & niece. If my SILs 1st preg wasn't a mc we wouldn't have my nephew or niece today, or their unborn sibling. I'm sure if the first baby had lived, it would have been just as beautiful and wonderful an individual, but I can't imagine life without nephew or niece now. Or the 3rd one on the way.

Shan - OMG well done on the weight loss that is awesome. I lost about 25 kg a few years ago, but some has crept back on during the pat 3 years, but especially last year. Am working on losing some of it. Every little bit helps as body fat stores and secretes oestrogen which is not good for O. Unless you get RAK'ed you have to pay to get an avy

thanks ladies for your supportive words,really needed them tonight.Very hard pregnancy announcement to swallow,why do people who are a bad parent to the child they have,get the chance to parent another.Their due date is a day before Matthew's anniversary.Oh well ,i wish the baby well & luck(i think it will need it).

Well I decided to test this morning as my temp was still high and only at 5.30am so 30 mins before my usual testing time cos little man woke up lol and I got my
So very excited but nervous the whole time cos I just wanna get thru the next 12 weeks!!! I hope I can have an early scan, I just wanna know that bub is ok around the 6-7 week mark as thats when my angel passed away...
So looks like I'll be due around 26th November!! So happy to join a couple of you girls, so glad to be part of the journey with you!!

So happy for you MummyDeb!!! All it took for my GP to order a scan was for me to say I'd had a m/c and was nervous. Yay! At least there are a few of us in the same nervous boat

AFM nothing new really. AF is starting to settle down a bit. Usually I get heavy for the first 2 days, then light, then tiny little bits of spotting over the next 2-3 days which is REALLY annoying (just all come out at once and be over with!) Today will probably be one of those annoying spotting days. I already know when to BD cause I'm pretty clockwork that CD12 is O day, so next Friday and Saturday there's gonna be a lot of BDing!hehehe

I had a missacarriage at 6 weeks about 4 weeks ago now. I've been waiting for AF to come but still no signs of her. I rang the Early Pregnancy clinic and they said that I prob have to wait another 3 weeks for AF to arrive?! Is that right??
I know everyones different but is most ppls cycles starting about 6 weeks after a m/c??? I just want to start trying again asap as this was my first success in 2 years.
Appreciate your advice

Hi Mia. Welcome to the thread, I am so sorry about your loss
I had a mc in January, missed mc at my 12 week scan so I think the baby actually died at about 7-8 weeks. My mc was induced by misoprostol (big mistake!) and I bled heavily for a week and lightly for a week. AF came back about 1.5 weeks later. Bit my cycles are pretty short - 24 days -and they run like clockwork. Despite that, I was quite surprised AF came so soon as I'd heard it can take ages. I guess it just varies from woman to woman. How long are your cycles usually?
