Im fine, now af is over that is and the ride starts again, so sorry to hear about the funeral you had to attend, that sounds so sad, i hope yourself and her family is doing ok. Now be positive missy, i don't want to hear any of this " i don't think im pregnant" rubbish, i have good vibes for you this cycle......BE PATIENT AND STOP TESTING!!!! (this coming from the most compulsive POAS'r!!)

Tanya, Sounds like you had a hoot at your mum's place, just realized your little Emily and my Hayleigh are only a day apart, Hayleigh is the 22-10-03. I was considering buying pre-seed also, let me know what you think of it. I went into a chemist nearby and they wanted $52.95 for the 6 sachets:eek: the lullaby ones are heaps cheaper.

Nola, congrats on reaching the 2nd trimester, its all good from here!

Naomi, Glad you enjoyed the movie, Cameron & I have not been to the movies since before Hayleigh was born, I must get mum to mind her, so we can go and see superman. Are you going to TTC for real this cycle?

On CD 8 for me now, AF has shot through leaving me with a day or so break before BD'g season is declared open, although my temps are not looking good for the start of this cycle, they have started of all over the place, so its not filling me with much confidence of a successful O, I have decided that if im not pregnant this cycle, im not going to take a break TTC but im going to stop temping and doing OPK's and just go with the flow, try to relive some of the stress involved with the whole ttc thing, DH is very happy with that decision as he knows how stressed i have been over it all.

Afternoon Ladies

I had an interview for a job at Vili's today (pies and pasties etc), I met Mr Vili himself! He is a very DIFFERENT kinda person!!!! Anyway, Mr Vili had asked me did i have experience in food or anything? And as we had been mucking around i said besides in my kitchen no i dont have any experience, and he just went 'oooh', ****ed that up now didnt i? I aint going to get hired due to lack of experience, and throughout the rest of the interview he just kept mentioning it saying 'but with no experience its going to be hard for both you and us', i knew from then i didnt have the job. Andrew then went on to say that it'll take him a day or so to sort through the applicants, as there was about 6-7 of us, and that he'll pass on the ones he wants to the receptionist to contact and let know, they then will be filled and considered once a job becomes vacant, then you would be asked to do a trial day and then if passed that then employment would be offered, so i could still, via a miracle, get passed the interview only to be stored in a cabinet! I thanked them shook hands, turned to Mr Vili and said it was nice to meet you again, (he had come into the waiting area and spoke to us, to which i was the only one who had responded to him, none of us knew who he was!) he started laughing, and reminsied to Andrew as to what i ment, we said goodbye and i left. As soon as Mr Vili had said 'oooh' i knew i didnt have the job and a really relaxed thinking well nothing matters now.
I got home, feeling quite bad about having no experience, but though it just wasnt ment to be.
Half an hour ago I got a ph call from Andrew asking me to come in for a trial day on Thursday! YEAH YEAH YEAH one of my prayed miricles have come true (well almost, have to pass the trial first!) The trial is from 9-2 thursday in the Cafe. Im so excited! Im so proud of myself!

Tanya - is that because you watch 'smallville' and the old superman movies? it took me a bit to get used to him cos of 'smallville'! LOL but you will enjoy it, i want to tell you all about it, but it'll ruin the movie for you! LOL

Nic - stick little bubba stick, my prayers are with you and your family.

Lisa - Thankyou my sweet, Im ok, yes i am hoping this month is my month! I dont want to move to ttc 6mths+ :-( are you pg????????????????????????????? hmmm i hope so!

Shell - Yes we are going to TTC for real this time!YEAH LOL, alst month didnt work out at all, Rick doesnt want to know when i o so he doesnt feel underpreassure to perform iykwim, i'll know but as im the one who wants to dtd more, he wont get clued on to when i o, if that makes sense? Prehaps seeing a girly flick would be better for your first time back to the movies! Goodluck with your natural cycle of dtd oing and catching the litlle eggie!

I think it is a cross between the Smallville series and the original movies, why I am having a bit of trouble imagining this new guy as Superman...

Shell... Whoooh! $52.95 for a 6pack of pre-seed!! That's a bit rich! I bought it off Lullaby Conceptions... much cheaper... although I only go tthe 3 pack, it was about $19. Fingers crossed it works!!

Tanya - yes i thought the interview sucked too, but apparently they didnd, as i wrote at the end of the post i now have a trial day with them on Thursday! LOL - i thought it may have come accross as that, sorry.
I did the same thing with Superman, but trust me you get used to it quickly, kinda!

Naomi... ooops... sorry, I must have read it wrong, or too quickly... I can do that!! Well, congrats on the new job ;) I am sure it will go really well :) Now for a BFP!!, Yu know it happens! Get a job = get a BFP!!

Naomi - you go girl, you obviously made a good impression that they were willing to give you a go! Fingers crossed all goes well. So what is the actual job? Ive started working at a friends cafe (once a fortnight) and im loving it - just chatting to customers and making coffee's nice break from my normal 9-5 job. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed. Im sure you will impress the socks off them and they will hire you straight away!!
Im so happy you have decided to ttc 'for real'...lets hope it ends with a real BFP in the coming month.

Shell - I like your idea of no temping etc - maybe that will help you relax a little and you know what they say, stress is ttc enemy no.1... but i hope that you get pg unawares this month so you dont even have to relax!! Im praying really hard for you..i want one too,, but when I think of some of you gals in here, im happy to wait my turn and let you go first!!

Tanya - I hope you get that elusive BFP this month too matey, time to tell the big man upstairs that enough is enough and we want to be pg NOW!!
I dont think that I really want to watch superman, I like the idea of having the original one stuck in my memory.

Michelle - how are you going? What I was saying to Shell about waiting my turn ... happy to let you go in front of me too love. But wouldnt it be great if we went over to PAML together... hehehehe....

I dont know if my 'symptoms' are real or just in my head as its a bit early for the hormones to have started raging, but I like the idea of thinking im pg - im trying the whole 'positive thinking' thing (Jayne ... you should jump on that bandwagon too!!). But i have been having dull pain around the lower abdomen (almost af like) and some slight cramping (like an internal pinch??) LOL im such a drama queen...its the tww - so now of course im over analysing everything. just glad that i can share it with you gals because everyone in my real life will probably think im nuts!

Jayne, you may find you are less stressed second time around. I was quite stressed when Nicholas was newborn too and hated hearing him cry too, but now I am not so worried if Declan cries. I hope AF stays away and you do end up getting a BFP this cycle. Oh and yes Declan did wear the booties I knitted for him. They came in very handy with all this cold weather.

Michelle, how are you going?? I will probably have your booties done for you in the next day or 2.

Tanya, good luck eith the preseed. I hope you get your little boy, this cycle.

Tomorrow is quite busy for me, 8.30 Nanna has appointment with hearing specialist and then at 9.50 she has appointment with heart Dr, then i meet mum back at nanna's then at 6.50 Rick has his first game of soccer (cup match) then if they win that they play at 8.20 and then if they win that they play at 9.20! ARRRR im going to be so tired!
So i guess an early night for me then, as i have to get up at 5.45 to be at Nanna's by 7.00-7.15 so i can shower her and get her breakky as well as be at the app on time, going to be pushing it, my nanna is very slow!!

Awww Naomi, you sound like a real gem to your Nanna, hope it all goes well!

Thanx to all you lovely ladies who asked after me & my appt. All went well, well as good as things can go I guess. All the tests that the OB ordered came back normal, so that means that none of the things she tested for are an underlying cause for us losing our babies. So our next step is to make an appt with the Fetal Medical Unit at the RWH & go & have a chat to them about what they recommend for us & I guess they have the final say as to whether we can travel the TTC journey again or not. So it is still a bit up in the air as to whether we will travel this path again or not just yet, but if all goes well in Melbourne & they give us the go ahead then I'm about 98% sure we will be making the TTC journey again soonish.

Again thanx for all your support it means a lot to me, especially when I feel kinda out of place atm, as I'm not really TTC, I'm no longer PG & I've moved forward enough that I feel I no longer belong mainly in the miscarriage & loss forum only. But I am here keeping my eye on all of you even if my presence isn't all that "visible" atm, my greatest wish is that you all get the BFP's you so deeply deserve & soon too.

Quick update before Housewives

My HCG is still going up but extremely slowly. OB was very concerned and had me come in for an ultrasound (just his office machine). Showed a fetal pole measuring around 6w but no heart beat (there may have been a possible flicker but hard to see). That with the HCG he gave me a chance of about 40% success... Granted the machine was not brilliant quality... My proper good quality scan is on Wednesday.

Kirsty that is great news your appt went well.

Nic i hope everything goes okay when you have your scan on Wednesday. Thinking of you. The machines they use in their offices are not that good and i hope that flicker your saw is going big and strong for you next time you see it.

Nic - I want to send a special, huge cyber hug to you and DH. Your journey lately has been tougher than I can imagine - what a brave woman you are! I am crossing everything that your proper scan tomorrow reveal a strong HB. At least your OB could see a bub in there - not an empty sac etc but I do understand how worrisome it must be to not have any definite answer yet. Please keep us posted -will be thinking of you

Jayne - old buddy - how are you? get the feeling you may be next in line to enter PAML. When do you test? Sorry to hear about your friend's sister - so young, so tragic! great effort at the weight loss - stick to it girl!

Michelle - Sounds like you have done everything you can this cycle.Praying that this your month and you won't end up in the 12mth TTC bracket

Kirsty - I hope you can take it as good news that the tests came back all clear. I must admit I foud it frustrating to not have answers but I guess at least there is no reason why you can't carry another pg to term so chances of success are likely good. Best of luck at RWH appt and I hope you are on the TTC road very soon

I forgot to tell you gusy before, I am working from home today, had a late night. My BF left her DH last night, and now she is coming ovr. Im trying to talk her into going back to talk with him and try and sort out their probs. They've only been hithced for 6 months and they are ttc too! I love my friend dearly but she wont listen to reason, I dont know what more to say to her to convince her to give her marriage a go (the fighting is over something really really minor).

When do you usually get implatation bleeding? Just went to the bathroom and found had a small pink stain, and wiped a bit as well, but it was pink, not red like the last m/c. I am now 12 days past ovulation. Not sure whether to be excited or not......

And Yeah at the levels continually rising. That is also good even ever so slight. How far into your pg would your be? I am not going to let go of you that easy. I am going to drag you over to the paml thread if i have to get the other girls to help pull. So I am not going to give up on this one ....AND NEITHER ARE YOU!!!! Here's to a very very exciting scan on Wednesday.

Nola Thursday puts me at 7 weeks... And thanks for the positive thinking. I need as much help as i can get in that department :)

At least there was a fetal pole this time... with my first pregnancy I went in at around 6w and they saw a yolk... sac measured 6weeks... 10 days later there was a fetal pole that measured 6 weeks... It was completely off from the start.

This time the sac measured 5 weeks and a week later the FP measured 6weeks... so there is progression there...

I have been MIA the last couple of days and I thought I'd have loads to catch up on, but it has been relatively quiet in here. Everybody must be in the throe's of O'ing and out to catch the eggy!

Kirsty - I'm soooooo happy that there was nothing to pin-point the reason for your losses, and I'm glad that there is no scientific reason as to why you can't carry a bubba to term, but I'm frustrated as well that they couldn't tell you what had gone wrong so it can be monitored. DYKWIM? It sound as though you're ready to TTC again and that's the best news I've heard in a long time!!!

Nic - I'm waiting anxiously for your news of a very strong hb on Thursday. I'm quietly confident and I really think that this bubba is a daredevil and likes to keep you on the edge of your seat. Must be a boy! LOL. Stay positive and have a nice reward on Thursday.

Shell - How are you my possum, I'm with you, no more TTC with a vengeance, no more charting, maybe some OPK's but just taking some chill out time. TTC has taken over my life too and I should be grateful for what I do have rather than get all freaked out at what I don't have.

Moglie - Things are looking very suscpicious for you!!!!!!!!! LOL! The maths really stack up in your favour with the quick-spotting, so you never, never know. I had a feeling when I first met you that you wouldn't be around for long! In the nicest possible way of course! I"ll catch you in the PAML forum when you're onto your 7th child and I'm just having my 2nd! LOL. (all in good humour).

Meredith - So lovely to see you popping in to check up on us. I can't believe how quickly your ticker is zooming along! Are you starting to show and feel movements now? Very, very exciting! Are you going crazy with buying baby clothes? I would be!

Me - Well, unfortunately for me this month, it's another BFN. But in all honesty, I'm not totally bummed out about it. I'm really starting to make progress with my weight, I'm only 10kg away from what I was when I got married and it was only 3 months after I got married that I got to the smallest I have been since I was a toddler. LOL. I'm busy enjoying Jessica and I've stopped the charting, I'll still monitor the CM & do some OPK's on occassion but I'm happy for TTC to take a back seat to weight-loss atm. Well, that's the plan anyway!

Jayne ~ Hi sweetheart. Congrats on the fantastic weight loss. Matey, it takes alot of strength to lose weight and you're doing brilliantly! Soon, you'll get a super surprise and a BFP will be staring you in the face...it often happens when you least expect it!! How is little Jessica? I really miss our chats.

Ladies,

Just before when I was posting, I had done another HPT. My gf gave me 10 of them and they expire in a few weeks so I figure I'll just pee on them all over the next couple of weeks. I was surprised to get a BFN a few days ago, but I felt in my bones that I was pg.

Anyhoo, I just went to put the HPT in the bin and there is a ......... I'll say it's a shadow. Ok, it's another line. But it's very, very have to squint your eyes type of faint. I think I'm going to keel over with shock. I know it still could be -ve, cos sometimes these stupid HPT's play tricks on us.

I'll do another one with FMU tomorrow.

Can't believe it, sooooooooooooo hoping it's a BFP, and WILL be disappointed if it turns out to be a BFN now that I have had a little excitement...........

Awwww shucks, you guys are the greatest.
I'm still not sure whether the test is telling me fibs or not, but my gf who is 20w atm also had the same trouble with these tests. I'm remaining hopeful and I"m going to be shattered if it does indeed end up a fake +ve.
I rang the OB and spoke to the midwife to see if I should come in & she said yes cos the doc will want to Quantitive HCG monitor me in the beginning so I have an appt on Monday. He is booked for the next 3 weeks but I have special treatment from now on I'm told, given the m/c I've had. That was a nice feeling, but I'm still wondering if it's a little premature. He did tell me I had to see him as soon as the sperm hit the egg, so I'm seeing him! LOL.
I phoned DH and he is VERY excited at the remote possibility of us being parents again. Geepers. My head is literally spinning. I think I need to sit down with a cuppa and take some deep breaths. I'm sooooooooo excited and going to be one very upset and disheartened girl if my dreams are dashed. I have everything riding on this, it's impossible not to.

PS - NOLA - IF I am pg then I'll be picking up Shell and taking her under one arm and Michelle under the other and then I want everybody else to hold onto my legs. Believe me, I have enough fat for everybody to get a good grip! PMSL. :p
