forshelby wwwwhhhoooo great news congrats ! you could certainly do with some good news, i hope your boss is good to you today and signs off on your leave without any drama ! and i hope your grandmother hangs in there for you, big hugs honey
hopefully this is the start of good things to come in july for us all, im a bit frustrated because we aren't "allowed" to try yet so im not even in the running, who is next to test, is it you bons ??
family saga continues with another nicer email from my brother last night (after i sent him another one telling him some home truths) still no admission they are in the wrong so things continue, im taking my DD off to her specialist today to get her eye checked from her fall, hopefully he is happy with it !
my memory is terrible can we maybe write a list of who is in the 2ww so we all know where everyone is at ?
-
Congratulations Forshelby!!! That's wonderful news!!!!!! I hope you have a happy, healthy pg. Also glad to read you are heading home for some family time. Interesting how the ending of one life can coincide with the beginning of another (hope that's not insensitive to put it that way). I hope it all goes OK considering.
Reet, Bons, Iona and everyone else in a TWW - good luck!
Bons, how exciting about the camera! Nikon make great cameras - if that doesn't make the next 14 days fly by, don't know what will! And just think of all those fab pregnancy and baby photos you can take with it :)
Iona, hope you caught that egg!
Loops! Great news about the tractor sale - bring on October (or better still, hope you have a lucky month before then)
Dory - 28 weeks and 6 days - woohoo!! Glad to hear that you are doing well x
Hi to everyone else and sorry to have missed the new names in this thread since I was last here - very hard to keep up, you girls go at a cracking pace!!
Anyway, just popping in to say hi and still following you all along. Nothing much to report here - still temping and finally seeing a lovely normal pattern this month which hopefully (fingers crossed) will mean we can finally get our IVF show on the road in the next month or two. Got my EDD approaching so feeling a bit flat about that but otherwise OK. Love to everyone.

OMG OMG forshelby  :happyforyou: :hooray: Congrats my sweety I am so over the moon for yo and sending you heaps and heaps of :stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl:
Maybe I was onto something, now I hope you get the time off to go spend it with your family, have you heard from your mum in relation to your grandma? I hope she hangs out until tomorrow but you have a special lil bean in you which will have a special meaning to you and your grandma xoxoxo oh sweety I can't wipe the smile off my face
Hi to all the rest of you lovely ladies, I will be back later to do persies. Just off to my mum's for the day but will have my laptop up there
-
Wow this thread gets really busy lol. Congrats Forshelby :D sending lots of sticky vibes your way.
Good luck to everyone in the TWW and sorry for the recent losses :(
Everyone else, get that sausage sizzling ;p
AFM- no idea what is going on atm, things with DP are going fantastic atm but on the TTC front... well I still don't know when I O'd, I thought I did but FF is CONSTANTLY changing the day :( if it is cd13 then that is fine but if it were cd10 then I'm out for this month... another option that I don't really want to think about is that I havn't even O'd yet or that I might not even O this cycle. If I'm not UTD this cycle I might take a break. I have been TTC since the beginning of August so I think that a break is definately needed. I will still be temping and lurking so you wont be rid of me just yet ;) On a plus side I have been feeling nauseas the last two days so I will be haning around till AF shows up just in case.... yeah that was a lot more meness than I was expecting  sorry

Hi Lovely Ladies
Forshelby ~ WOW so excited for you that you got your BFP! All the best for the next 9 months .
So sorry about your grandma though - always a hard thing to go through - big hugs.
Possum-magic ~ Very sorry and really feeling for you  I hope you can get back into trying and feel up to it soon.
Alice ~ thanks so much xo. Great that you can look at doing IVF again too. Will be thinking of you for your EDD time - :comfort:
Reet ~ ROFL about your BD'ing experience - at least you could both have a laugh about it together - laughing is good in a relationship! And hopefully you can look back and say we conceived our child whist having a heap of fun together. GL hun
Big hi to everyone and wishing you all the best! Bring on some more BFP's.:pink-babydust::stickyvibesboy:
AFM ~ nothing new, just hoping time goes quick and we can save quick for another go at IVF very soon.

Forshelby - who would have thought toilet paper could be so interesting? Not navel gazing for you at the mo, to toilet paper gazing. I am loving it..... fingers crossed....OH OH - CONGRATS - I somehow missed the good news. Dory brain. That is awesome. Well done on your BFP and wishing you a happy and healthy coming 8 and a bit months. Now the real fun begins. Will you be joining the scrabble club ( no hanky panky, so have to find something else to do).
I am sorry about your Grandma, serious illnesses are never easy. Hope your boss was understanding and that you get to spend some time with your fam. It's not the best reason to be going home, but you are, and that's the main thing. Take care - 12 hours is a very long drive. Glad you are taking the big metal bird instead.
Mathew's Mum - sweetie - I didn't know you "hated" needles. I am lucky, pretty much no problems at all. Although it is annoying when they have to hunt for a vein.
Bons, Kelbell - good luck in the tww.
Iona - I am loving your "hang loose"plan.... all the charting and checking does take some of the fun out. I hope you can make it work for you and in no time will have your bfp....
Alice - so good to see your name again. Thinking of you with your EDD coming up. They are tough days, but I was glad to be "past" mine. Almost like a little weight had been lifted? Or maybe just not living in fear/expectation of that date anymore? Good news that things are becoming very predictable temp wise and bring on IVF!
Minnie - good for you! Good luck with DD's specialist appointment.
Bons - hold out girl you can do it, especially with that new toy to learn all about. I am totally addicted to taking photos of the cats.... they always have a camera jammed in their face... poor little things... but I reckon they are good to practice on. DH has a Cannon EOSD, sounds similar to yours, but I don't know enough about it. I just like to point and shoot and see what the photo looks like.
Reet - LMAO about your BD style..... it does lose it's "romanticism" whilst tcc but it's worth it. I think it's actually more romantic that BD'ing occurs when tcc as it means both partners have to be committed to some extent to the outcome, because sometimes the process is pretty menial. Although I have to say the 7 days in a row marathon that resulted in little chicken, was pretty awesome and not too hard. Probably because we were both on holidays at the time.....just like my friend Bermuda Girl ( but she's in a different thread - no guessing where their emby got a start)
Dampyre - heya!
AFM - mostly all good here. Something happened ( leaking a little fluid) that I need to call the Ob about. I am pretty sure its all ok, but better to check. Monday mornings he's usually in theatre so I will call in a little while, cause then I don't have to wait to long for his staff to call back and tell me when to come in. I don't cope too well with waiting... so the later I leave it to call the less I have to wait. In the meantime I can make like an emu and put my head in the sand and ignore it.
-
forshelby-congratulations on your bfp,you wont be travelling by yourself after all !!!big hugs to all
-
hi all,possummagic-thanks,we're here for you when you want...damprye-hope the nausea turns into full blown m/s....reet/kellbell/bons & ionamacca-fingers crossed for you all in tww, hope for shelby has started a long chain of bfp's ...loops12-hope you get a big tax return to boost those savings...minniemouse-hope all goes well with dd drs app...alice-thinking of you...dory-please let us know what dr says as soon as you can...afm-af is finished, waiting to 'o'
-
Mathew's Mum - appointment at 3.30m - will be able to tell you more after then..... glad AF has left the building....
-
sorry dory i missed this, i hope all is well, hope you are seeing your ob as im typing this !
-
Bons - Sounds like a great present! Maybe you'll be like me with hardly any concrete symptoms but a BFP anyway? FX for that...
Minnie - Things went well at work today, thanks for your thoughts.
Alice - totally not insensitive at all. That had crossed my mind too. I was actually born 12 hours after my great grandma died, so there ya go.... births/pregnancies seem to happen around deaths in my family. It's strange. Good luck with your next IVF, let us know when you can start!
Iona - LOL thanks for the congrats. You were a great stalker. :) Please continue to stalk me. And thanks for the sticky vibes. I hope this little one sticks! I just heard from Mum, she said Gran passed away at 3.30 this afternoon. She cried, then I cried (normally i can keep my composure but not this time!) and then she giggled at me for blubbering so hard, lol... gotta love Mum. Anyway, I wanted to cheer her up so I spilled the beans and told her about my BFP. She said "ARE YOU REALLY?" Then she started to worry I wouldn't be ok to fly and deal with all the stress etc. Before all of this though, I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. Now I have mixed emotions. happy for me, but sad for my Gran. At least she isn't suffering anymore. Anyway, enough doom and gloom... I'll still be around to stalk you. When are YOU testing? hehe
Damprye - Stupid FF changing your O day all the time, that's confusing! As if the TWW isn't difficult enough. Maybe a break from TTC would be good for you. You just do what you feel is right. :)
Loops - Hope your next IVF does the trick.
Dory - Lol@ Dory brain... I'm still a little bit shocked myself! Not sure about the scrabble club, I don't think I have any reason to believe bd might be a problem, but for some reason.. I'm afraid to. I don't want to see blood..... and that's what I'm afraid will happen.
Matthews mum - That is so sweet, I'll remember that when I'm on my travels. Funnily I really didn't want to go back home again NOT utd, so this is pretty amazing. I miscarried as soon as I got back to the Gold Coast after my last trip, so that's got me a bit scared, but for no good reason at all. I hope you catch your eggy this month!
AFM, I rushed out and bought another test (or more truthfully, a 3 pack LOL) to make extra sure I am actually pg. It too was positive. I did take a picture, but probably won't post it since we all know what 2 lines looks like. When I showed DP the first one in the morning, my hands were shaking. I just held it up to him, and said 'do you see a line?' He said "I see two lines. You're pregnant! Yay!" Then when I left for work he gave me a kiss and said 'bye mummy'. So cute.
Anyway I'm still a little bit in shock, and finding it all very surreal. Last time I was so afraid and stressed out, this time is so different. Oh and DP even called one of his friends to tell him straight away, he was so excited. LOL... very sweet. I also told my closest friend today, so we're even. hahaha....
On a sadder note, my Gran did pass away today as you may have read up there ^^. The boss was pretty fine with me taking leave, so I'm all set to jump on a plane tomorrow. It's going to be a very emotional couple of days for me. And it won't be easy to keep myself in check if I get all hormonal. Oh deary me. What timing this bubby has. Same as his/her mama though. :)
Sorry for the long me-ness there at the end... just in a bit of a daze still and trying to gather my thoughts! I also just want to say that I feel incredibly sad for those of you who haven't had this kind of luck. Not in a pity way, just saying I understand. I am really blown away this happened on the second month of trying, and am truly sorry it can't be this easy all the time. So I've decided to have a stern word with the universe so I can take you all to the PAML thread with me very soon. I'm a bit scared to post in there.... I guess I will introduce myself soon enough.
Take care everyone, and let's get another BFP happening. :)
-
forshelby-sorry to read that your grandma has passed,hugs...

-
damprye-yes i have 4 frozen embies left from my ivf in april,so going to try to have 1 of them transfered, are you still feeling nauseated?
-
Matthew's Mum- That's awesome :D
Yeah, not sure if it because I am coming down with something or not, I don't want to get my hopes up too much but my lower back is being annoying and I am getting cramps but oh I don't know what to think, just trying not to get too ahead of myself, I still have a week before I should test, that's going by the later of the two days FF keep bouncing between anyways.
