Hi everyone,
Sorry, busy weekend so haven't had time to post. Look out for the huge post!
erybery - So glad you have such a wonderful ob (and DH!)to help you through this. I pray your little one fights and grows into a healthy, beautiful baby. Try not to lose hope
Rhi - Don't be too hard on yourself for feeling that way about your friend. We have all been there. It is natural to be envious of something we all had for such a brief time before it was cruelly taken away. I believe we need to have these feelings to find our way through the grief (the fact we feel guilty afterwards just means we are a good friend ;)).
Greenslw - Sorry you have had trouble sleeping. You would think the alcohol may have helped! Good for you for treating yourself to some 'naughty' foods. I think it is good when we can treat ourselves during this TTC journey - sometimes we need it!
sallyk61 - So sorry to hear what you, your DH and your angel had to go through, it must have been just devastating to hear those results. Can't help with the D&C question but looks like most of the girls have got it covered. As for the exercise, agree with the other girls, I would cut down on the high intensity workouts. Apparently increasing your body temp can be bad for your unborn baby. Maybe talk to someone at the gym about what is safe to do when you are TTC?
Melissa - Sorry for your loss but welcome to the most wonderful place you could have found yourself to help you through this journey. Thankyou for sharing your story. I hope your stay here is short.
Chappas - Hope the migraines ease up soon. I agree with Jen, where is your ticker???
Jen - Ok Jen, so you have caught up on your persies but how are you doing? You always look after us and listen to our problems - we want to do the same for you! Thanks for the no AF vibes too
mrzbaby - Sorry to hear you are angry at your DH - although I don't blame you. My DH doesn't smoke but my ex did and I remember how he promised he had given up and when I found out he had been lying to me I was so angry and felt cheated! Probably a good thing you had the weekend apart, hoping you get things sorted when he comes back. Not making excuses but I do agree with Jen, men are just wired differently. Plus I think also since we have the baby growing inside us and feel that attachment, men don't tend to feel as attached (although I'm sure they still love them from day one it's just not quite the same as growing that baby inside your body) until they see the baby on the ultrasound or hold them when they are born. Plus we are hormonal ;)
Hi to Mannie, megsmum, Hannah, plc, smi (how are you doing?), shortcake, WTH, mollycat, MO3B, boble and anyone else I have missed!
AFM - Thanks so much for all your no AF vibes, so far, so good. Like I said though, last month ws a 35 day cycle so trying not to read into it. Haven't had any real symptoms either way. My bbs started to get a little sore today and I have had back pain on and off. Not like I usually do for a period but it is hard to tell as AF might be different this month now my endo has been removed. Sorry if TMI - but I have been constipated and had a lot of wind which is not like me at all. Hoping that is a pg symptom as awful as it is
Bit of a chicken and can't seem to work up the courage to POAS. Just not sure I am strong enough to see that one line just yet. I know it is so unlikely I would be lucky enough to fall the first cycle after my op. With my op they didn't have to clean my uterus at all as everything was fine there and I got AF a day after my op so I am thinking my cycles should be back to normal. Anyway, my body has tricked me many times before so will just have to wait (which I am not very good at ).
Going to Melbourne on Thursday for a couples trip with my best friend and her DH so it should be good fun. I keep telling myself if AF arrives the silver lining will be I can shop till I drop and not worry about it - would rather be pg though!
Sally I just wanted to send you a big  i guess we never know if there was anything we could have done differently... but for the most part.... most of these things just happen and there is nothing we could have done to change it iykwim... please don't feel guilty for something you had no control over. and in terms of the pain, your baby may not have been in any pain at all. that was all it ever knew and it is possible, and highly likely that it wasn't in any pain caused by this... and in any case it was NOT your fault. sending you another
after my d&c it took 5wks for af to come back
Melissa - welcome. Im sorry you have had to find yourself here.. but this group of wonderful ladies are an absolute godsend! I hope your time here is a short one and we are here for you if you need to rant, rave, cry, scream or just be around people who know what you are going through... and we are also here for you for any happy sort of stuff too ;)
hi there to everyone else. :)
Im feeling a bit.... jealous.... today.. i just found out yet another person I know from a mums group is pregnant... not even trying.. found out at 12wks, already has 3 kids.... and although she is an awesome person and a great mum... im just so sick of, what seems like EVERYONE, falling pregnant around me! for the most part i smile and i am happy for them.. but i mean come on! when will it be our turn? we have been trying since may last year and had 2 m/c's along the way. don't we derserve it too???? sorry, i know so many other people have been through so so much more but i am just feeling very very woeful this afternoon... i actually feel sick with jealousy! how bad is that! :(
Sally - So heartbreaking what you are going through, please dont feel guilty it was not your fault at all.
Erybery - Sending lots of
Mel - :crossfingers: you get BFP, when will you poas?
Boble - Please dont feel sorry for the way you are feeling, i felt exactly the same for a long time whenever i saw anyone pg:hug:
Jen - Thanks, feeling a little better today
Big hello to Mannie,Megsmum,Melissa and Hannah
boble - Unfortunately we all know that feeling all too well. Sometimes it seems like everyone around us can get pregnant so easily and most of them seem unplanned. It is heartbreaking and so frustrating but we have to believe we will hold our forever babies soon. I think it sometimes helps to wallow in self pity, after all we go through we deserve to be self indulgent and just worry about ourselves for a change ;)
chappas - Have no idea when to POAS. I am waivering at the moment!!! Think I should just get it over and done with so I know to expect AF. I am just sitting here torturing myself at present
I start a new job tomorrow (still with the same company but different job on a different campus). Bet AF arrives tomorrow morning just to make my day!
Good evening all!
Thanks for the thoughts, Im finding it so hard with not being able to find out much about b.s.a. because its so rare, its that whole UNKNOWN thing again, ARGH it gets me everytime!
Can't wait to sleep tonight... So looking forward to (fingers crossed) a few hours of un-broken sleep....
Boble - I think everyone can sympathis with you there. I still think though there is this silent taboo about talking about loss openly. 1 in 3 pregnancy's end in miscarriage then how come we hardly ever hear about other people experiencing things like this?
We have decided to try out the accupunture asap, just to get the cycles happening, maybe a little quicker and healthier that way.
I dont want to pin all my hopes on getting pregnant quickly but I can feel myself starting to do that, dont really think its healthy but I guess its anything to keep your hopes up and keep the faith!!
Hello Beautiful girls
Sending lotsa :hug::noaf::bluedust::pink-babydust: your way.
This weekend has been a cr*ppy one, here's hoping the coming week is better.
Mel- I know where you are coming from as I am in the same boat at the moment. To pee or not to pee that is the question! (poas that is). I don't want to keep hoping then to have Af just show up but I also don't want to poas and have the hope ended. :SAAF:
Thinking of you ALL :grouphug:
xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox
sally--Sending some AF vibes your way....and some  for a short cycle, so you can get back on the TTC bandwagon. Good luck with the acupuncture--I've only ever heard positive comments from the girls in here!
boble--Sounds like you could use some  Don't feel bad--what else would you feel after what you've been thru? We understand.....
chappas--YAY you! You've put up a ticker! Good for you!!
MO3B--Sorry to hear you had a cr@ppy weekend! *hugs* Saying lots of  that our :noaf: vibes are working!
Mel--Oooooh, constipation and gas are major pg symptoms! Sending some extra :noaf: vibes your way!! Hope you enjoy your trip to Melbourne with your friends--sounds like lots of fun and a great distraction! Best of luck with the new job position!
Me--(Thanks for asking, Mel!) Not too much going on with me, actually. Just pluggin' along.... watching my temps and hoping they behave this month so that I don't have to be a bully and give myself a coverline again! I'm going to call and reschedule my pap since I didn't do it on my b-day, then I can ask about the dye and the blocked tubes, etc. Other than that, just doing my thing at the school.... Thanks again for asking, sometimes I forget to mention what's going on with me!
Here's a couple songs I heard on the radio the other day that reminded me of all of us and what we may be thinking and feeling at any given time. Hope you enjoy them and are inspired! *hugs*
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5m3Vgh4QaA
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhR0G7LC1FU
Another song--same artist, Fireflight (Christian rock)-- that made me think of you girls..... even though there's times we feel so broken, deep down we're strong and Unbreakable! :grouphug:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCUfHQSsC2c
Ruthie--This especially made me think of you! :comfort:
Jen- Hope you can get an appt with the dr soon and get some answers!
MO3B- Sorry to hear you had a crappy weekend. Hopefully this week goes better for you.
Sally- I hope the accupunture works for you and you get your BFP soon.
Mel- Goodluck on the new job and sending lots of :noaf: vibes your way.
Chappas- I love you new ticker! Whens your next dr appt?
boble- I know how you feel. The one guy I work with just announced that him and his girlfriend are expecting. They have only been together 2 months and they didn't even want kids!!!! :crying: Its so hard to understand why people like that are pregnant when some of us are killing ourselves trying to get pregnant. Sorry for the rant... just so fustrated!
erybery- Big ! Praying for you and bub!
Ruthie- If your lurking I want you to know I miss you and I am praying for you.
Big :hello: to Melissa, Mannie, HannahD, Megsmum, Greenslw, Rhi, AbbeyB, and mrzbaby! Sorry to anyone I missed!
AFM- I'm calling the doctors tomorrow. I don't know if there is something they can do or not but I am stuck in the same situation again no AF and no BFP. I just wish I knew what to do with my own body. It has been 37days since last AF and that was after they gave me meds to restart my cycle. :wall:! Sorry for the rant ladies!
Greenslw - I don't think you are a hypocrite. You were being a bit indulgent, that's all, particularly considering how much we give up when we are ttc & pg.
MMEelissa - Welcome. Sorry about your loss. Sounds like you have some challenges to overcome, but your personality comes through as very positive. My gf did acupuncture and Chinese medicine and said that although she didn't fall pg, it was the best she felt for years.
Chappas - That is terrible about the migraines. I've never had one, so can only sympathise and assume that it is 100 times worse than a headache.
Sally - Bring on April! Sounds like you could use the break! Sorry can't answer your q about D&C, as I've never had one.
Mel - Thanks for making me feel better, I guess that would be true why I feel so terrible about those dark thoughts. Oooh, fingers crossed hun, sounds soooo promising, but agree about the false hope. You want to think positive but in the back of our minds we know what can happen. Shop anyway, can be such good therapy! Good luck with your new job.
Boble - I hate that comment 'we weren't even trying'. I really don't understand that' Anyway, I can understand how you are feeling. I have the green eyed jealousy monster lurking a bit too. I want it to be all our turns too.
Shortcake - I think it is best to call the gp. Hopefully they can give you some answers.
Jen, mummyofthreeboys, mannie, Hannah, mrzbaby, abbey and everyone else - hope you are all well and take care.
Nothing to report for me, just sore bb's for some reason, but I catch the train to work so maybe they are still defrosting from the freezing cold! Back at work for the next two days, then 5 days off -yay!
It seams there is a lack of good infomation about making babies stick, any suggestions. I know about the caffein and this time I wont be touching anything chocolate, tea etc (very hard for a reformed 5 coffee a day ladie) I've stoped coffee all together but find it hard to give up chocolate and tea and even chi tea has caffein :wall:
I must admit I have been careful no alcahol, soft chease keep away from sick people but I don't think I've done as much as other people, do you think it makes a difference?
Today I'm on the interview panel for my old job (very odd) and I'm not at all focused, so I thought I'd come and mini vent in the hope of getting some good ideas for the plan (clinic tomorrow, plan on the way :D) I like planning way too much
Hope everyone had a good weekend :grouphug:
Well..... CD9 and had a temp drop this morning. Didn't really think anything of it, since I usually O on CD12. But all of a sudden, out of nowhere, tonight I've got..... um.... :tmi: lots of watery CM. Haven't BD'd since yesterday morning, so it's not :sperm: Also have some O-type pains, tender bb's, and increased sex drive--look out DF! Looks like he'll be happy tonight! :bd: Anyhow, can't get that done while I'm on here, so will have to get going!
:bluesperm: :pinksperm: :ttc: :fertilise: :egg:
Jen- Best of luck I am thinking of you.
Hugs to everybody It's been 4 weeks this week since my D&C and praying my cycle will return I have been taking my vitamins and eating perfectly Hopefully this will be a lucky month for everyone.Take care chat soon.Ohhhh and I am getting a new bed and hoping that will help with my back pain as it hasn't eased alot in the last 4 weeks so a positive thing to look forward to this week.:D
Thanks for the reply Jen :)
I've now got preseed and the maca powder in the post and on its way, fingers crossed they live up to their reputation.
Havent got time for persies today but i am thinking of those who are still waiting to get their BFP's, those who are in the middle of BDing and those who are waiting for the nasty AF to go back to where she belongs i.e. not here.
Well I decided to stop torturing myself and POAS this morning - :bfn:. Still no sign of AF though. I have been having a bit more back pain today so she must be on her way. I am not too upset (no tears this month) as I knew it was a long shot and I am off to have a nice, relaxing time in Melbourne this weekend which DH and I both need. Not so relaxing I guess with the shopping I'll be doing! Will be nice to get away with friends though and let our hair down a bit as we haven't done that in a very long time! Your life seems to be put on hold whilst TTC (except for going to work ).
Just a bit mad AF is taking so long to arrive, I don't understand? Maybe my cycles will be longer now? Or maybe I have to wait for AF to return after my op? Although I have had AF since then (started the day after) so I should be on track?
Will be removing my ticker as it is obvious my cycles are not 31 days anymore and it is just confusing.:wall:
In the middle of cooking dinner so will be back later for persies.
Sorry for the me post - had to vent!:)
Jen805 - Good luck with special cuddles :pink-babydust::bluedust:
Charm - Sorry you're still sore  a new bed will be so nice bit green eyed monster
RhiChiC - hope you thaw out soon, it's frosty here too and wet yayayayaya I LOVE Rain :D
Mel - :goodluck: must be the month for new jobs
Abbey - What are the preseed and maca you are talking about if you don't mind me asking..
Mel - Maybe this is your last 'free' holiday so you will have to make it extra special!!!
Greenslw - I don't really think it can make that bigger difference. Otherwise wouldn't that be recoMmended to everybody? I know that next time around I think we will both be slightly manic, its in my blood, but I doubt it will make the difference. But for my piece of mind I know it will help..
Starting accupunture this wednesday, so excited!! Can't be anything but a positive I guess.
AND I had the best day post termination so I am feeling alot more positive,
spoke to my trainer and explained I want him to train me like I am pregnant from now so I dont worry about that either.
Another Question:
The DAY I would of implanted my daily walk made me pant like a 9 month pregnant lady. I am really fit and it did surprise me. Did this happen to anyone else??
mrzbaby - A bracelet is a lovely way to remember your angel. Something you can always keep close. I hope a weekend apart has helped you and DH and now you can come together and sort things out.
erybery - I'm thinking of you and still  fervently for a happy outcome. Your OB sounds wonderful.
Rhi - Its absolutely normal to feel jealous of other women who are pregnant or have babies. The fact that you feel guilty just means that your are a good friend. And if you were fine while talking on the phone to your friend, thats a good thing too, as it means you're not letting your feelings get in the way of your friendship. There is such a mix of emotions after m/c and jealousy just happens to be one of them. Just come on here and vent because we won't judge your feelings. More often than not, we probably share them. Take care of yourself .
greenslw - I don't really have any suggestions on helping babies stick - caffeine and alcohol seem to be the big ones, and it seems like you have those covered. I've also given up coffee and black tea, but my Mum introduced me to white tea which has very low caffeine. Its great when I need a little extra energy to get through the day. I haven't entirely given up chocolate though - I think I'd completely lose my mind.
MMelissa - Welcome. I'm sorry for your loss. It seems you've already found out how wonderful and supportive the women here are. I wish you all the best for your TTC journey. BTW, I've read that if a woman ovulates on the side from which a tube has been removed, the remaining tube can actually swing around and pick up the egg. So you may still be in with a chance every month. :goodluck:
chappas - Good on you for putting up a ticker!. Congratulations on reaching 12 weeks. It doesn't seem that long since you got your BFP. Before you know it, your forever baby will be in your arms.
sally - Even if there's no medical reason to wait, some doctors will tell women to wait a few cycles to allow time for emotional healing. After and D&C, the lining gets scraped pretty thin, so I chose to wait one cycle to make sure my lining had built back up. When to TTC again is a completely individual decision. Enjoy your time away in April. A change in perspective can sometimes be helpful.
Mel - Sorry about the BFN. Apparently, stress can actually delay ovulation. Perhaps recovering from your op last month delayed ovulation resulting in a longer cycle. I'm still hoping thats not the case though. Its not over until AF shows. Goodluck with your new job and enjoy your time in Melbourne. You deserve some serious 'you' time.
boble - I'm sorry you're having a rough time  Mel's right though, we do deserve to wallow in self-pity every once in a while. We need to allow ourselves to feel whatever we feel. The important thing is to pick ourselves up again. Don't lose hope hun. You will have your forever baby soon.
MO3B - I hope you have a better week. :crossfingers: you get your BFP soon.
jen - As unpleasant as a pap may be, it'll be worth it if you can get some answers (or at least a start on getting some). Goodluck. Oh and goodluck on catching that egg. :pink-babydust:
Shortcake - Rant away darlin'. TTCAML is hard enough without our bodies being difficult. I hope the doctor can find something to sort out your cycles, or a reason why they're out of whack.
charm - Switching gears now to send some AF vibes your way. Hoping your cycle returns soon.
Abbey - Goodluck with the preseed and maca powder. Can't hurt to try, right?
Ruthie - Thinking of you always sweetie
babymiracles - I'm going to assume no news is good news and that you've had no more spotting. How nice was the rain today? It actually feels like winter is on the way.
Hello and *hugs* to everyone else.
sally - I'm so glad you had a good day today. With time they become more frequent. Goodluck with the acupuncture, I hope it works for you.
Back for some persies......
Hannah - Thanks sweetie . Still sitting here torturing myself! The longest cycle I have ever had is 35 days (which will be tomorrow) aside from when I was pg. Hope things are starting to look up, it's only a matter of time before your luck turns around! I so hope we can be belly buddies together ;)
Jen - Thanks for the update on you! Good for you for re-sched your Dr's apt - be sure to ask about your tubes being blocked! Hope you catch that eggie ;)
sally - So glad you are starting to find your way out of the 'fog' and are feeling more positive. You will still have bad days (so don't feel bad if you do) but they will become less frequent :)
Charm - Hope your cycle returns to normal soon and you get a good night's sleep on your new mattress!
Abbey - Hope the preseed and maca powder works for you!
Greenslw - Try not to torture yourself about what to eat and drink when you are TTC and questioning whether you are doing the right thing. My FS said most things are ok in moderation (of course when you get your BFP you would cut it all out). I don't smoke and rarely drink but if I know I am not pg by the time in my cycle I am not going to hate myself for having a glass of wine.
Rhi - Glad I made you feel better :) Is it cold in Melbourne? Going on Thursday and the forecast said it is supposed to be 27 but raining?
Shortcake - Let us know how you go with the Dr - good luck!
MO3B - Have you POAS yet? Still sending :noaf: vibes!
thanks everyone for the pep talks.. im feeling a little better about it all today.. but still just a teeny bit bitter. oh well.. a little better is still better, thanks again :grouphug:
i had my appointment today with the obgyn/fs. he looked through all my notes and the testing i had done after the last m/c and said that i had had all secondary testing available and if I wanted more i would have to go to Sydney. Sydney ivf runs a miscarriage testing type clinic and they could run more tests. So, dh and I have said that yep, that is the next step if nothing happens in the near future. The first appointment will be an over the phone appointment anyway. But then we would go to sydney for testing. I did speak to him about the pre-af spotting i get so before anything else happens and before any further testing he wants to look into that - he said it is "very relevant" - so... that is the next step BEFORE a sydney trip. :) when my spotting starts this cycle he wants me to go in and he is going to take a swab. I can't remember what he said it was called that he is looking for... I will ask again when I go back when the spotting starts.
Ok.. so so sorry for ranting a lot about me. Im pretty stressed out atm with a tenancy tribunal thing coming up and I have to send off all my evidence tomorrow and just feeling so so stressed about it all - so mad that it has come to this! but i have to do it. :( so I apoligise for not doing persies today. I have read through all the posts and I am thinking of you all!!!! sending lots more big  's to everyone.
Sally, Preseed is a personal lubricant that is sperm friendly and is basically like an artificial egg white cervical mucus :) and Maca powder is a peruivan herbal powder that is said to help regulate cycles which hopefully should make you ovulate. I want to try it because i have PCOS and my cycles are all over the place so i want to try everything before i have to go down the IVF road..
Boble- Big ! I hope the doctors can figure out what is going for you!
Sally- Good luck with the accupuncture! Glad your starting to have better days!
Mel- Sorry for the BFN. Still holding out hope maybe it was too early to test? Sending :noaf: vibes your way!
Charm- Congrats on the new bed! Sending you lots of :bluedust: !
Jen- Chucking lots of :pink-babydust: your way! Hoping this is your month!
Rhi- Hope it warms up for you soon! Yay for 5 days off work!
Big Hello to Abbey B., HannahD, Greenslw, and to everyone else!
Happy crappy Monday....... ugh! I hate Mondays! I'm SOOOOO not a morning person, but even more so on a Monday!
Shortcake--Rant away, I'd be doing the same thing if I were in your shoes! Looks like we'll both be making phone calls today to try to get some answers! Best of luck!
Rhi--Enjoy your 5 days off--I'm jealous!
Greenslw--Does that include decaf coffee? Bummer if so..... looks like I may have to lay off--NOT what I want to hear on a Mon. morning! :wall:
Abbey--Best of :goodluck: with the macca powder and the Preseed! I've used Preseed before--it really IS just like EWCM!!
sally--Glad to hear things are looking up and you're feeling more positive! It will continue to get better each day! Hope you enjoy the acupuncture!
Hannah & Mel-- :grouphug: Thinking of you both! Will keep you posted on my dr's appt! Mel, I'm very sorry to hear about your BFN :( I hope your cycle gets back on track quickly--you're such a trooper for being so strong and patient! Chin up, remember it's not over 'til AF rears her ugly face!
boble--Hope you get some answers about the pre-AF spotting! Good luck with the tribunal--try not to stress too much!
Hi everyone!
It is 11dpo for me today first cycle after m/c and waiting for af or something because I have not gotten a bfp this morning. I also not sure whether i ovulated later as it shows on my chart *in my signature* if someone could have a looksie and see what they think? I have the chart on th reccommended "advanced" ovulation detector but I guess Im in limbo and waiting to either a) obviously get a bfp or b) get af so i can chart and start again fresh being the first "proper" period after the m/c
Hoping someone can give me some insight?
Eliza
coco - It may be too early to test?
AF is now 4 days late and no signs of it - it is driving me crazy! If she is going to arrive just hurry up already! I would like to have it over and done with before I go to Melbourne.
Anyway that's my whinge for the morning.
Have a good day girls, will be back tonight :)
Greeslw – I have no real idea about safe levels of caffeine, but I think I saw no more than 300mg? I only have 1-2 cups per day but now it has got me thinking I should give it up to give myself the best chance. Am having a glass of wine at night too now. No idea why I’ve started that but it is enjoying particularly after a day at work. Thank goodness today is my last day until next week, cos it has been crappy.
Jen – Lucky you! I hope you got some action!
Charm – Hope the new bed gives you a restful night. And the witch comes a visiting, only for this month….
Abbey – Got me thinking about the maca powder. I will ask my naturopath before taking incase it interferes with what concoctions she is giving me.
Mel – I can’t give you answers about AF, she confuses me all the time. Particularly as my cycles are all over the place. Hopefully she doesn’t visit you whilst in Melbourne. Do you think it is too early for testing – have you worked out when you bd last? Sorry, probably too many forward questions. It’s still raining in Melbourne. It was suppose to be showers yesterday but after sunrise, it was just cold. Today was suppose to be the same, light showers but it has been raining fairly consistently last night and this morning, although once I got in the CBD it has stopped. Melbourne’s weather if very unpredictable at times, but usually more often than not we get minimal to no rain, even though they predict showers. If will probably be quite nice when you come down.
Sally – Good luck with the acupuncture. I have heard positive results, particularly in relation to just feeling better.
Hannah – Thanks hun, am feeling not so guilty anymore and just put it down to feeling a bit sad & frustrated about not being preg myself.
Boble – That is great news about the testing. Not sure what is involved, but it may certainly give you some direction and answers. In relation to the spotting q – my dr wanted to take a swab for a STD when I was spotting after my m/c. I told her there would be no need as I only have sex with my dh and I am fairly sure he only has sex with me! I think it was for Clamidia (sp?) Odd. Good luck with the tenancy tribunal.
Shortcake – Hello! Hope you are well
Coco – I am no good at reading charts, too confusing for me…. I had a look, but I don’t really know what I am reading or looking for. Sorry.
Hello to everyone else.
I have no idea what is going on with me, I would have thought considering it is 14 days past last AF that I would be getting some signs of O coming. Nothing, nadda, dry as….. (sorry!)
Will try to pop in tomorrow, but have playgroup with dd, then visitors in the arvo.
xx
AFM: Went to my Ob apt yesterday for a follow up after the last D&C ( which by the way has worked). He was about to write me a script for the implanon ( I didn't want to try yet as DH is still smoking and wanted to wait for 4 months before trying again ( pill doesn't work... I forget... He hates condoms..go figure!) Then he said hang on you had your reversal in August didn't you! Yeah... Then he proceed to tell me that I need to think about concieving from my next cycle ( whenever that arrives ) as my time is running out and I really should try to fall pregnant before August as after that the tubes can have problems. So instead of Implanon I got Clomid !!!!!!
So I guess I am back on the concieving train again... just need an AF to get me started... PLEASE SEND AF
I am amazed at how unready and now ready I have been in a matter of a days.. when you are given the odds of it all i guess it snapped me back into reality....Or my DH got to the doctor before me lol ! (He wanted to TTC straight away).
Be back for persies later..
Had a quick read so much to catch up on.
Em
Good Morning Ladies!
Abbey - Thanks for that. We looked it up and have ordered some. Once I had finished the sentence "It is a sperm friendly..." Hubby was sold. I don't think he even cared, just the friendly part was enough.. SImple little things aren't they?
Rhichichi, Jen, Shortcake, Mel and Hannah ( and anyone else I have missed)
THANK YOU for all the positive affirmations...
Helps heaps to be here with people who 'get it'.
Now we have a busy weekend, feeling again positive compared to before so hopefully this will be a good day too. Two in a row, could't complain with that!!
xxoo
Mrzbaby I am thinking we all need to do a AF dance maybe it will help I never thought I would see the day I am hoping for them lol actually desperate not just hoping.I am hoping the new bed will also bring goodluck I know it sounds crazy but at this stage anything positive is a bonus I am still amazed at how hurtful ppl can be with comments yes the hurtful ones are still coming so now I say enough take the negativity else where I don't want it or need it.
Thankyou everyone with the AF best wishes I hope everyone else is doing ok :D
We bought a new bed too!!!!!! LOL.... My DH just didn't get it why we needed one but I told him ours is over 150yrs old ( its and old anitques cast/ brass bed) and we need a new bed with no one elses vibes on it.
Yes the AF dance sounds like a great idea.. PLEASE EVERYONE SEND CHARM AND I SOME BIG FAT AF VIBES!!!!!
I told my mother today about the TTC thing again she laughed so hard..No less than two days ago I told her no mre wait.. he still smokes etc... and how i got the script...she just laughed and said i was hurt and emotinal and its amazing how an ultimatum can work sometimes to bring you back into reality...I am still really scared but I am not going to let it dampen my TTC thoughts or efforts...Doc seems to think things should be OK this time!.
hi everyone...
everyone waiting for af to arrive (mrzbaby for one), I've got a deal for you... how bout you take my AF ;) its due in about 4 or 5 days :P hehe. doing the "bring on af dance" for you all :)
Mrzbaby - glad to hear you are back on track and knowing what you want again.. sending you a big
Rhichichi - thanks so much for your reply, i really appreciate it :) im hoping we get some more answers soon.. or a bfp... :D hehe. the doc isn't looking for an std though, i know that much - I have had so so much testing over the last year that they covered all them "just in case" too ... damn, if only i could remember what he called it.

I hope everyone else is going well xxx to anyone feeling down.. here is an extra big  and sending lots of extra st patty day :goodluck: for everyone waiting to test
Mel - Thanks. I hope we can be belly buddies soon too. I still have my fingers crossed for you. :goodluck: :pink-babydust:
boble - Goodluck with the hearing - try not to get too stressed. Hopefully the docs can give you some answers
jen - I hate Mondays too. Hope you had a good day anyway and that you caught that :egg:.
Eliza - I'm new to charting so I don't feel qualified to give any advice. It may still be too early for a BFP to show. I'm sending you lots of :SAAF: vibes though.
Rhi - Sorry work has been crappy - I hope it improves when you get back next week.
mrzbaby - I'm glad all those D&Cs finally achieved what they were supposed to. Switching gears again and sending you some AF vibes and hoping that your lining comes back quickly. Good on you for making a decision you're happy with. I'm glad you're feeling more positive. :goodluck:
sally - Here's to more good days to come.
charm - I hope the new bed helps your back and brings you some luck. Sending AF vibes your way.
:hello: Shortcake, chappas, megsmum, MO3B, Eliza, jackjack, Easha, kazaraz, Karen van, mollycat, erybery(thinking of you hun ), WTH, babymiracles, Abbey, Theresa, Ruthie, NaeNae, smi, plc, meh, Krystie, fifi, tutmae, jenushka, buliej, greenslw, mannie, tam, issy, indy, ajc and anyone I've missed.
Hi everyone and a big hello to erybery by beautiful belly buddy until yesterday... I truly hope you don't join this thread permanently and everything works out for you and the rest of our October mums...
I just wanted to drop in here and introduce myself to this thread. I was pregnant with what would have been out first baby. We had our first scan yesterday at 11weeks and the fetus measured 8 weeks & 3 days with no heartbeat... We are devestated but are going to TTC as soon as possible. I am booked in for the operation on Friday and after that I hope I heal quickly and get back into my cycle... We charted my temp and CM in my Dec/Jan cycle and fell pregnant straight away so I am hoping it will be that easy next time...
I am just amazed that this is actually happening to me... I had no idea there was anything wrong and the thought never crossed my mind... Work was challenging today and I left early... Going to go in for a 3 hour shift tomorrow and I will see if I go on Thursday... I am scared I will pass it, get cramps and start bleeding... I would much rather just have the op on Friday and be done with it...
I am sorry if this is all to much info... Thanks for reading and I am looking forward to sharing this next stage of my journey to motherhood with you all.
cherished - My heart goes out to you. Do what you need to do with work and personal life too. I hope you have a wide and supportive network that will help keep you strong in body and mind, and one that will help you find all the guidence and support you need.
It might not help yet but its so hard to deal with because it is so out of control.
If its any help Im just over 2 weeks from were you are now, except mine was a forced medical termination and it gets harder but easier.
Its great how positive you are about TTC!! Its wonderful to hear your glimmer of hope during this time.
xxoo
Cherished - I'm so sorry for your loss  Glad to see you are feeling positive though. Be sure to take time off work if you need it. After my m/c I went back to work staright away as I didn't want to be home alone. A decision I regret now. Best of luck on the rest of your TTC journey :goodluck:
Jen - I hate Mondays too but this week was a little sweeter for me as I am only working 3.5 days then I am off to Melbourne!
HannahD - How are you doing sweetie? Hope things have started to be a little more positive for you.
boble - :noaf:
Mrzbaby - Glad you have come to a decision, things always become clearer when you are not so emotional. Sending you AF vibes so you can start your TTC journey.
Charm - Big AF vibes to you as well!
Rhi - Aren't our bodies so confusing! Better :bd: just in case - you never know!
AFM - Well now at the end of CD35 and still no sign of AF. What is happening??? I POAS again tonight and it was negative :(. Been using cheap tests I brought in bulk over the internet so I brought a more expensive one and will test again in the morning if AF doesn't arrive by then. Hoping the tests are dodgy, I know I'm clutching at straws now
At the risk of jinxing myself (but hoping by saying it, it might bring on AF if I'm not pg) I do feel like I am pg. I had this feeling last time and I was but maybe I am just putting thoughts into my head because I want it so much?
Sorry will stop rambling now.....
Hi to megsmum, smi, mannie, WTH, plc, AJC, ruthie (thinking of you sweetie), babymiracles, MO3B, jackjack, eliza, theresa, karen van, erybery, meh, mollycat, issy, indy and anyone else who may be lurking.
cherished1 - I am so sorry for your loss . I went back to work a few days after having a D&C but wish I had given myself more time. Be kind to yourself and do whatever you need to get through this. This forum is a great place to come whenever you want to vent, scream, cry or laugh. I wish you all the best for your TTC journey.
Mel - I'm chugging along, thanks for asking. Not feeling particularly positive, but not down in the dumps either. So I guess in the middle is good. I still have everything crossed for you (except my legs, of course ;)).
Hi girls! Sorry I'm short on time... will be back later for persies! :grouphug: Just came to check up on everyone real quick! :pink-babydust: :bluedust: :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy: :noaf:
And for those of you that WANT her.... sending mega loads of AF vibes coming your way!!!
Well still no sign of AF which means I am now 5 days late. POAS again this morning and still negative!
I might call my FS today and see if my op could have affected my cycle. Thinking of asking for a blood test to make sure. I wouldn't worry about knowing as much but since I am going to Melbourne tomorrow I want to know!!!
