I started charting my cycle for the first time this month and discovered that my temperature doesn't really go up much after ovulation. Sounds funny but I was quite pleased to discover that there is something that I can fix.

I'm currently seeing three practitioners - naturopath, homeopath and an acupuncturist/chinese herbalist. Chinese herbalist isn't happy with my temps and wants to me to stop my naturopathic herbs for chinese ones. Naturopath is on hols till August so I'll have to ask her stand-in. Homeopath has given me a tonic that I was to take once and wait. I've taken once and am waiting but not sure for what!!!

So excited to hear about Katie's morph scan. Yours will be fine too, Jo (I was thinking that we hadn't heard from you in a while). I sometimes lurk in the pregnancy thread just to give myself a boost, it's insipring to hear about ladies who have healthy babies after losing one in the 2nd or 3rd trimester.

Helen, I'm glad you went to your appt and that you're getting some answers... although sometimes having answers can be even more confusing, isn't it!

    Hi to everyone else :-)

    Hi ladies,

it''s been a while since I posted here but I've been lurking. It's been almost 2 months since we lost Edward. It's been hard but at the moment I feel OK... we just took a holiday and have bought a puppy. She's very cute and keeps us entertained and distracted!

AF finally arrived after 7 weeks. Was weird though, I had a day of bleeding then a day of nothing then bleeding etc for a week... that's never happened before. Has anyone else had an unsual experience for first AF after birth?

Anyway now that I'm theoretically fertile again I'm joining those TTC. Hope it goes our way this time!

    Love Rozzie

Hello ladies! First let me start out with some for the new thread!

It's been a few days since I posted, I went camping on Thurs. and was supposed to stay for 5 nights. Had bought a wireless card for laptop so that I wouldn't miss out on what was going on around here (I'm a regular in the TTCML thread, and have to say I really couldn't imagine going 5 days without my girls!) but couldn't get a signal anywhere at the lake! Climbed the slides and drove up the highest hills I could find trying to find a signal--no such luck! Can't tell you how bummed I was! My name is Jenny and I'm a BB addict! Anyhow, my 7 yr. old DS ended up with heatstroke, so we left 3 days early. Have to admit that I am SO glad to be home and on the computer! lol...

sryan--Yay on the temp dip! Time to bring on the BD'ing! Good luck with O and catching that egg!

hgirs--Glad to hear your appt. went well and you got some answers! Your post actually sounds calm and peaceful! That's great! Glad to hear you have a plan, good luck!

jo--Good to hear from you, I was wondering where you'd gone! Hope you get your computer problems fixed soon! Good luck with your 16 wk appt. on Tue. and your scan on Wed. It's so great that you can feel the baby moving now, that's what I look forward to the most! that you're still keeping Nancy Drew guessing! You go! You know, I was always a "what's meant to be, will be" person, and "it'll happen when it's supposed to"... that worked the whole time before the m/c, and for about 2 cycles after the m/c, but I'd get so crazy guessing what was going on, and thinking I had to BD every single day, that I finally said screw it, and bought a thermometer! It's actually fun and gives me something to do--can't tell you how many times a day I check it, lol... it's not like it's going to change or anything! An addict, I tell you! It was really cool to actually see when I O'ed (and had corresponding symptoms), and then saw a coverline for the first time!

Hammi--Glad to hear you started charting! Do you find it to be as helpful and addictive as I have? lol... Good luck with the Chinese herbs, hope they do the trick and help your temps! Was that tonic awful? When you find out what you're waiting for, let us know! Hey, you know you can add a link to your chart to your sig if you want to, right? Looks like you lost your ticker, too--I had to make a new one from a different place because mine disappeared! Good luck finding yours!

Hey Rozzie! Good to hear from you again! I pray your TTC journey is a short, straight road leading to a quick BFP! :goodluck2:

Hi Katiegirl! Hope things are well with you and your baby girl! I'm so happy for you! Don't recall if you told the girls in the TTCML thread, but I'll leave the honors to you in case you haven't! When will you get to see her again?

    Hi all,

Welcome to Rozzie - I look forward to getting to know you and hopefully your stay is short with us.

Hammi - I love charting also. It makes me feel like I am more in control. Though it is a bugger on weekends when you try to take temps at the same time as when you do during the week and going to work!!!

Jen805 sorry to hear about your camping trip and your son getting heatstroke. Must have been an experience and hopefully DS is all better.

hgirs, so glad you went to your appointment and all went well. It makes you feel better when there is a plan in place. I wish you all the best in the coming months.

Well I O'd on day 13, went to natural therapist and she also has confirmed this. So we are now working on the 2nd part of the cycle.

Luckily when I ovulate, I feel pressure, so at least I know when I am ovulating - DH and bd the night before and on the day. So hopefully it is a BFP for us this month - would really be good not to have to go down the IVF track again!!!

Anyway wishing everyone a fabulous day....

    hi everyone!
look! i am on, using my own computer! I tried last night but could'nt get on and obviously the system knew i had some news to tell today and so let me on tonight! yay!
I saw my OB today and good news - there was still a heartbeat. Although i have been feeling movement for a week now i still don't think i wanted to get any hopes up! But my OB said it was nice and strong so that was good and the measurement for the neck at the 12 week scan was low risk and my downs syndrome risk was put at 1 in 18,000 for the triple blood test results! yet as the midwife said i won't stop stressing and won't be happy until i have our baby in our arms. i am so glad someone finally admits that and my guilt at not having my hopes up is made to sound ok and justified. I just care so much already -i am just scared of being that hurt again!
I have an ultrasound tomorrow - it my stress reliever one so they wil just check growth is moving along nicely and i hopefully will get a early indication of the sex! will let you know how it goes!
    take care everyone!
