2007 - m/c (4w+3d)
2008 - Preterm Birth (DD 16 weeks early, 8 days when passed)
2009 - m/c (sometime between 5w+3d - 7w)
We're going to start TTC again as soon as my cycle starts again. Not going to follow any Dr advice this time and we will wait until we hit 8-9 weeks before we test for pregnancy so we don't get our hopes up.
Anyways - looking forward to sharing stories with you all.
Hi bub1, welcome to our thread. I am so very sorry for your losses and I hope you find some comfort and support amongst us I am glad you have such a supportive family who are helping you through this hard and emotional time. As for how long it takes to conceive again, as Teagz said, most of us are still trying but I hope and pray your journey with us is short.
Theresa, YAY for a wonderful scan result So very happy for you. 2cm! How cute.
Teagz, injections are going fine. Can't believe how easy it is actually. I do get little bruises at the jab site but it really doesn't hurt. Hope you get better soon luv. I'm still battling with my cold but I'm not allowed to take antibiotics because of the meds I'm on -panadol only, and fat lot of good that's going to do.
Hope Cindee and baby are ok. Saying a prayer
Hiya Sue!
Beata, how are you hun?
NaeNae, I am so very sorry for another loss and I really hate to say welcome back. I wish you didn't have to find yourself here again but we are all here to comfort and support you. Sending you big hugs and take good care of yourself. I hope your journey with us is short.
Anyone heard from Paula? Infact all our pregnant mammas have been very quiet lately. Hope you're all well.
Lots of love and big hugs to all x

Welcome Bub 1, like the other girls, I am sorry that you have to be here and for the loss of your two angels and hope that your journey to ttc and carrying a baby to full term is a short one.
Nae Nae, sorry that you have to join this thread again, but great that you felt you could come back in here. Also hi to Joselyn, I hope that your bub is not far away.
Theresa, great news on the scan and the strong heart beat. Isn't it amazing that at 2cm there is a heart beat. So incredible.
Teagz, hope you get better soon
Beata, I must say that its so great having you in here as you are so supportive to everyone
I hope Cindee and little one is ok. thanks for keeping us updated Teagz.
I agree that the preggo's have been quiet, hope everyone is ok, check-in so we know your ok
AFM, well FF did change the cross hairs and it is as I thought, O'ed on Sat, so I'm still in for a chance this cycle . Must say there wasn't as much action as usual going on given I was away, but at least there's a chance.
I sympathise with those who find it hard when friends and family around them seem to be falling pg at the drop of a hat! So many people around me are at the moment are pg or there partner is and it is really hard somedays. I should be finishing work around now and Jasmine should be born next month, it just seems quite unfair doesn't it. Anyway, need to try and look forward and hope for a BFP soon.
Hope everyone is well. Paula, I'm particuarly concerned about not hearing from you, please say hi.
Thank you so much for taking the time to explain your situation to me. I have found this experience to be a very lonely one emotionally. My beautiful sister has been so supportive, but not only can she not really understand - I am not sure she can handle me going on and on about how difficult this is for me. The negative results each month, the different strategies, the "I'm ok" this week and the "I can't do this anymore" the next. It's difficult for the support people in our lives also.
I understand entirely your decision to get assistance with falling pregnant. I considered it but have come to the conclusion that I will give it till six months. At that point I will meet with my OB/GYN to get some tests done etc... How do you know if you are ovulating late? My periods are right on track, 28 days on the knocker (sometimes day early). But just because I am getting my period, that doesn't necessarily mean I am ovulating does it? God I hope I don't sound like a fool - I'm not all that good with this pregnancy stuff. A cruel reality is that I only tried for two months with Grace - but I fear the emotional stress I am going through is stopping my body from allowing things to happen for us. But it is a vicious cycle...
Can anyone advise me about how I would know if I am ovulating late? If my cycles are right on track, is that all I need to know?
Thanks Diana and thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this.
Sending out heaps of luck to all the girls in this room. And I have really good feelings about this time for you too Diana.
hi joselyn don't worry about not being sure about things i had know idea about all the ins and outs of falling pregnant untill last year. I have been doing taking my temp everyday for the last 2 months and using fertility friend a web site to help me know when i ovulate. I am also going through ivf and before that was having blood tests every month for 12 months with local gp to establish when was o day. It is a confusing process to go through but all the girls in here are magical and a wealth of knowledge so don't be scared of asking questions. I also understand about how alone you feel i don't live close to any of my family or really close friends and found it lonely when we first started doing ivf as no one really understood what i was telling them but you will get there. hello to all you other lovely ladies well i am on my meds now and have a scan on tuesday to see how my lining is going will catch up soon.
Hi Megan, oh I am so pleased to read you are still in the game! You are definitely in with a good chance - one swimmer remember! Oh hun, the count down to EDD is really hard. I would find myself staring at my calendar at work for ages thinking "I should be 8 months now" "I should be finishing work today" "I should giving birth today" etc etc. Hang in there as best you can and lean on us when you need to. Sending you strength, love and huge hugs
Joselyn, it is a very lonely battle when you can't share your experience with people who truly understand how you feel. I thank God for the girls in this forum, otherwise I don't know where I would be today.
Please don't feel like a fool for asking questions, we are all happy to help you any way we can. As for ovulation, I knew I was ovulating very late as I was having monthly blood tests with my specialist so he could see what my cycles were doing. You are right, even with a regular cycle, it doesn't necessarily mean you ovulate every month but generally a regular cycle means you are most likely ovulating.
Do you get any classic ovulation symptoms? Before Sebastian I got all the tell tale signs - the EWCM, ovary pain etc. Did the predictor kits help you determine ovulation? A lot of the girls here take their temperature each morning and plot the data on a website called Fertility Friend. I have never used it but I'm sure someone will shed some light for you. Hang in there with us hun, I'm sure it won't be too long for you now.
Hi Dee, how are you traveling with your treatment? What meds are you on at the moment?
Lan, busy getting some lovin' ? Hope you're doing ok.

Nae hun, I am so sorry you have landed in this forum, I wouldn't wish it upon anybody. But as you already know we have the best girls here and the best support anyone could ask for, so we are all here for you (just like you were always there for me and for that I will be forever grateful, thanks hun!). I'm so glad you'll be trying again with the next cycle. I'm keeping my fingers and everything else I can cross for you for a BFP. You know yourself, you deserve a baby so much, you have so much love to give. I wish with alll my heart you'll get your miracle very soon
Diana, I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed for your for next Wednesday for lots of good quality eggs and strong sticky embies!! Woohoo!! You're doing so great hun, I'm there will you all the way!
Teagz, IKWYM about AF. I just go straight to napro for my pain, although my first AF after my op wasn't so bad. I only had it for 2 days and it was heaps lighter than normal. Yeepee for short and light AFs!!! Not that I like them.....How is your cold going?
Any news on Cindee hun??? I love the stalking facebook thing, ha ha
Megan, yey for being in the game still! Sending you heaps and heaps of , I hope one eggie was very sticky indeed!!!
And I know exactly what you mean about wishing we were still on our maternity leave, preparing for our babies' arrivals rather than having to go through due dates with no baby. My dd is tomorrow, but I will be glad to get my closure finally.
Bub1, sending you huge hugs hun , please know that we're always here for you and are thinking of you xoxo
Joselyn, welcome to our thread. I am very sorry for your loss, and that you find yourself here. Please don't feel that you're asking silly questions, no question is silly. We'll try to help you in any way we can. When I was trying to find out when my O time was, I took my temp everyday and charted it on fertility friend and sometimes did my own graphs, and most of the time I knew when I O'd. They are very helpful, although it was somewhat easier for me as my cycles are very regular 29 day cycles. Good luck with TTC, praying that you get your BFP soon with the rest of us!!
Dee, is your transfer today? I remember you mentioned Wednesday....How is everything going? Keeping everything crossed for you hun
Lan, do you think you've got a sticky one??? I truly hope so hun, bring on the BFP!!! We need one girls, haven't had one for a while!!! Remember, I'm not in the game for a couple of months still, so I'm counting on all you girls!!!!!
Hi to all our beautiful mummas, hope your bubs are behaving and you too girls!!!
Sending special hugs to Laney, I hope all is well with you and bubs
Beata, no I haven't heard anything more from Cindee. Its making me a little nervous actually. I hope everything is ok.
Cold is muuuch better. Amazing what a day of antibiotics can do, I'm very warey of getting thrush again though. I'm very prone to it (to the point where I have completely cut out sugar from my diet) but i've been taking In-Liven so hopefully that keeps it at bay! I've never heard of napro, I usually take Nurofen Period Paid Releif and go to bed with a heat bag ^^;
DD, Glad the jabs are going ok
I'll do more persies later. Work and my life in general is really getting on my goat today
Beata, I just wanted to give you the biggest for tomorrow. I will be thinking of you on what will be a very hard and emotional day for you and DF being Joshua's EDD and memorial service. Remember I will be there holding your hand very tightly. I hope you manage to get through your poem for Joshua, I am sure it will be beautiful. Lots of love, support and comfort dear friend
Teagz, glad to hear your cold is much better and I hope you have a better day tomorrow hun. I had to go to the doctor today because mine is still pretty bad. I have bronchitis and have to take antibiotics to try and get rid of it before egg collection next week. Can't believe it, I'm falling apart at a time I need my body to be at its most strongest.
IVF girls, I went to inject myself tonight and you know how normally when you press down on the pen there is a little resistance as the med goes in? Well I didn't get that tonight, so I don't think any of the med went through. I turned the nob a few clicks to test the flow and I didn't get any droplets the first 2 times I tested, but I did on the 3rd try so it must have been blocked or something? I wasn't sure what to do - whether to just inject again or leave it so called my FS and he said not to do it again if I wasn't sure as I could over stimulate. Said I would just have to do an extra day of injecting if that was the case. Anything like that happen to you? I am so tempted to re-jab!
Diana, you are such a sweetheart for thinking of me, you really are a dear friend . I've just actually decided to keep Joshua's ashes at home for the time being, I'm just not ready to let him go just yet. I feel better for keeping him at home for now, maybe one day I will do it but now is not the time. I felt so heavy and anxious the last few days and then it hit me like a tone of bricks. I didn't feel good at leaving him at the cemetery....I feel such a relief now....Thanks so much again for your kind thoughts, you're a gem.
Bugger about the pen! Hun, I wouldn't jab again in case you overdose. Egg collection a day later is much safer. Maybe the pen mulfanctioned???? Better to be safe then sorry hey? I can't believe you've got bronchitis, you poor thing! I hope you feel better soon, those antibiotics will start working in no time. Sending you big hugs .
Beata, in your own time hun, no matter how long it takes Try to do something nice with DF tomorrow and give each other a big hug while looking up at the stars knowing Joshua is watching over you and protecting you and is helping you achieve your dreams x
Gotten over my urge to inject again as I surely don't want to overdose - I sound like a bloody drug addict
Thanks hun, we will have a nice day remembering our little boy. We're still going to have a small barbie tomorrow, just very close friendss and family, and release some balloons for my angel into the sky.
I'm also begining to think you're enjoying those jabs a little bit too much LOL.....a drugie in your past life??? ha ha

Beata I didn't realise tomorrow was your EDD. I know what you mean about the ashes. I can't bring myself to part with Jayvan's either and I don't think I ever will. Someone suggested that I plant them into a pot but I'm horrible with plants and I'd be devistated if I killed it mg:
DD, Glad the jabs are going well! And I agree with Beata, you seem to be enjoying them a little to much hehe. I get what you mean about your body carking it on you as well! Mine did that last month. It's such a pain! But this month I'm on the mend, hoping for some good karma this month too. AF is due on my 21st birthday and it would be a wonderful birthday present if it just didn't come at all Hope your antibiotics kick in nice and quick, They usually do once you start taking them.
Hii to everyone else! What has happened to our pregnant mumma's? I hope the heat hasn't gotten to you...
Beata, you will be on my mind tomorrow. I really hope that tomorrow gives you closure and an emotional release, he will always be in your heart of course.
Diana, frustrating about the jabing but it sounds like at worst you'll only have to do one more day of jabbing, but fingers crossed that it did work. Not long now until egg harvesting, very exciting, then only 5-days and little one is implanted, right. It all happens quite quickly doesn't it, although I'm sure it doesn't feel fast for you. I'm really praying you get a sticky BFP.
Well, AFM, FF removed the cross hairs this morning as my temp has started dropping, which means I could be having an anovulatory month? Will see what the next few days do, but doesn't seem good to me. This may sound a bit extreme, but I really think I had an early m/c last month. I was so sure I was pg to be honest, I had all the signs, ms, sore bb's, I have a one day dip in my temps (implantation dip?) and the day before I bleed I had a strong pulling and it was a different flow to normal AF. I believe you can get an anovulatory month after a mc, does anyone know about this? Maybe I'm jumping the gun, but its what I think may be happening.
I don't want to end on a 'me' note. Beata, my heart truly goes out to you right now hun, I'm feeling very emotional about this topic right now, take care of yourself.
Beata I will be thinking of you tomorrow and sending you plenty of hugs and support. I still have Zachary's ashes at home too. They are in a little box that was supposed to have his first curl. I am having a teddy bear embroided with his name and date of birth and I am going to ask my mum to sew the box into the teddy. That way he will be with us always. I don't feel right leaving him anywhere else.
