Cheryl, I am so sorry hun that there is no BFP for you this month I can imagine how frustrating it must be with AF not turning up yet. As Beata said 3-months since your loss is not long at all, it can take a while for AF to get back to normal. Was your cycle fairly regular before? In terms of weight loss, please don't stress yourself out more than you already are. Having too much pressure on yourself is not good either. Take small steps and you can certainly make a difference. I have been running for the past few months, which has helped me, but its something that I really enjoy doing as well. Glad that your doc gave you a certificate to work pt for another 4-weeks. It sounds like your body really needs it. Take care
Hi Beata, my AP appointment is now on Friday, so I am looking forward to that and doing something positive towards helping the cause Cheryl, it is good to read that you felt AP really helped you conceive Ryan. I was wondering when the best time was to actually do AP, and it sounds like just before O and around implantation time. I'm sure my AP will tell me the best routine to do, but I am so keen to get started and I will be seeing her about CD9, so about 5-days before O. I might ring to see if I should bk in a 2nd appointment closer to O. I'll let you all know what I thought next weekend.
Hi Teagz, I'm glad you had a good holiday and it sounds like things are going well for you, so that is great to hear. Unfortunately AF did arrive so no cigar this month for me. Make sure you drop in and say hi to us ttcers. I hope there are tumble weeds in here too soon and were all in the pg thread or parent thread!
Diana, how are you? I am a bit concerned about you. We haven't heard from you in a while, I hope I haven't missed anything. Take care of yourself.
Haven't been on in ages, but wanted to pop in and wish all of you luck and cyberhugs where needed. Yeah, we're still TTC, just taking the month of June off (dh goes on a business trip every March, and it would be hard for me to have a baby at that time.) http://forums.bellybelly.com.au/foru.../eusa_pray.gif for everybody!
Hi Berry and Beata - thanks so much for your support and words of wisdom. Yes, you are both absolutely right - it is 12 weeks today since Ryan was born sleeping. I feel like I have come a long way, but there is still a road yet to be travelled. I managed to get back on the treadmill yesterday morning for 30mins, and felt so much better for it. Had great plans for today as well to do some pilates or yoga, but too cold and too tired. DH was up at 4.50am (and therefore so was I) to catch a flight for work! Spoke to my TCM lady today and had b/t done, even though no AF yet. She wants to know my FSH levels. The b/t included B-HCG, but I don't expect anything there as another POAS today showed a BFN. For now I am just focusing on being healthy - eating well and doing a bit of exercise 3 or 4 times a week to start. Nothing too much, just gently easing back into it. I enjoy running as well, tho' I'm not very fast! And was enjoying that before I fell pg, so I am keen to get back into my fitness routine again and I know the weight will just fall off once that happens.
Anyway, must go and cook dinner. DH should be home soon!
Take care all

hi girls sorry that i have been missing but a lot has been going on this will be a short post as i am still trying to get my head around that my husband has left me. I have moved home with my parents for the moment but i am hoping that with time we may be able to make things work out. I will try and catch up with everyone in the coming days.
Dee, I am so sorry to hear that hun, I just want to give you a big hug I can't imagine what you must be going through. You both have been through so much with losing Chloe and the stress of IVF and they are just the things that we know about. I really hope that you work things out as well. Hopefully you are able to see a councillor together when the time is right. Know that we are all here for you no matter what you are going through. Thinking of you hun & take care of yourself
Cheryl, good for you for starting exercising and eating better. Sorry to hear that AF still hasn't shown her face. Are you going to start the extra strong herbies soon? Sounds like you are getting good 'medical' advise.
Hi TM, great to hear from you hun. Sorry to hear that you are still on the ttc train, but since you are, come and join us in here, its been so quiet lately, would be nice to have more company, but hope your journey is short at the same time
Hi Beata, hope you are well and that you can pinpint O in preparation for the big tranfer next month, can you believe it!
I'm just waiting for my AP appointment now. Feeling a bit down about everything the last few days, but hanging in there as there is nothing more I can do and there is still a lot for me to be grateful for
Dee, noooooo!!!!!!! Oh hun, I am so sorry you're going through this difficult time. I really hope & pray everything works out for you hun. Just know that I'm thinking of you and I'm reaching across the computer screen to give the biggest hug possible ! Chin up hun, we're always here for you .
Cheryl, I'm gald that you've got some positive goals to focus on, I know exercise and eating well can't hurt, lol! I've been very slack in both departments You have made some excellent progress hun, keep it up and you'll get your much wanted BFP sooner than you think!! Big hugs hun.
Megan, so looking forward to your post after you have your AP app. on Friday. I am hearing more and more about how beneficial AP is with fertility and particularly IVF. Hang in there hun, the journey will be so worth it in the end when you see those two lovely lines on that pee stick!!!!!
Well, the ovulation test confirmed O today, so I must be ovulating soon (they say in the next 24-36 hours). At least I know I 'O' on day 17. How's that?????!!!! All this time I was going for gold between day 13 and 15 ...
Tempus moriendi, welcome back!! Good luck in your TTC journey hun, I hope to hear some exciting news from you soon!!!
Bec, how is that horrible cold weather??!! I don't think it can get any colder than this. They say it might snow up in the Dandenongs tonight! Grrrrrrrr!!!! Extra blankies for me tonight..
Teagz & Nae, hello there! I hope all is well with you lovely ladies xxx
Diana, big hugs sweetie, hang on and chin up, I'm always thinking of you xxx
AFM, apart from pinpointing my O, yeepee!!! my DF still hasn't got back his police check thingie which we need in order to proceed with the next IVF cycle (this is compulsory from 1 July). I am a bit worried. I got mine back pretty quickly, but my DF has a very common name and apparently there are a lot of people with his name in Australia, and because they have to check each state, it's taking longer. I'm praying this thing will come in the post soon, as we might miss our cycle otherwise
Beata, so interesting that you thought you O'ed on day 13-15 & its confirmed as being day 17. Hope you and DH are going for gold now you never know. I think a lot of people must do that, think they O within a particular time frame and get it wrong. I have a great book by Zita West (she is like a naturopath I guess, specialises in helping women get pg & preparing those for IVF who need to go down that road) who says that a lot of women she sees make incorrect assumptions about when they O, its quite common. I didn't know much at all until I read her book. I guess trying to get pg can be much more complicated that you would first think. I hope DH's police check comes through soon, don't they know there's a little bubba waiting!
I will certainly let you know about the AP. I have read lots of great things about it too!
Dee - that's terrible news. I hope you're holding up ok. Hopefully your parents will be able to offer you the support you need right now. Take care of yourself and know that we are here to lend a supportive ear if you need one
Beata - that's great news about your O day. Mine seems to fluctuate by a day or two sometimes and I haven't had much luck with OPK but I might start using them again, once I get a regular cycle again that is! And I hope your DH gets his check through ASAP.
Megan - hope your AP session went well today. Can't wait to hear what you thought about it.
Hi TM. I don't think we've met. But am glad to have another person to chat with in here. I hope you get to do something special for yourself while your DH is away - maybe a massage!
AFM - well CD41 and am now on the super herbs from my TCM. B/t results came back and not good - showed that my hormones are all over the place. Definitely didn't ovulate this month with Prog level of 0.4! FSH is higher than we would like - like double what it was 12 months ago. But TCM thinks that it is probably because of the physical and emotional stress my body has been through these last few months. Will test again next cycle on CD3 to see what's going on. Now I am hoping and praying for AF to arrive. At least my hot flashes seem to have disappeared - yay! Also, have been researching a lot and have got DH and I on some supplements that have been recommended by a book I've been reading by Dr Marilyn Glenville from the UK. Also am starting her eating plan for both of us, which isn't too bad, but definitely no caffiene or alcohol, and an emphasis on whole organic foods. She has had a lot of success with it so am hoping that we might too. If nothing else we will be healthier and slimmer for it by the end of the 3 months.
Anyway, must go and cook dinner. Take care all.
