Hi Cheryl, Happy Birthday! Glad you had a nice lunch with work (sorry, but don't know why someone would bring a newborn to your birthday lunch - seriously!) are you and DH doing something special on the weekend? Fantastic news about O happening, that is just great. I really hope AF turns up on time or even better you get a little surprise

Aries, from what I have read your body can release two eggs within a 24-hr period (not sure if that is from the same side or both, but assume both scenarios), but not longer than that as its the increase or surge in progestrone that causes the egg to be released and then it has to be sustained for long enough for conception to happen, I have never read that a second surge can happen. I've had the same thing happen and all you can do is keep DTD, which you have so fingers crossed you caught that egg.

Beata, I hope they are implantation pains you were feeling Less than a week now and you'll know. Hope you are keeping your sanity and taking things easy at work.

Bec, all the best with buying your house, very exciting!

AFM, I tried to book into the hospital, who didn't want to know me until I was first 6-wks, then the second lady I spoke to said 10-wks. Anyway, I told her my history in brief and she changed her tune and organised for a geneticist to call me and organise an appointment in the next wk or so to at least come up with a 'plan', so feeling good about that.

I must say I can feel some good news coming from this thread soon. praying for a downpour of BFP's

    Hi Girls,

Megan, I'm so glad you've got a plan to follow now that you'll be seeing the geneticist soon. I'm always praying that everything will go very smoothly for you hun, I've no doubt that it will. Have faith and stay positive sweetie

Girls, I think something is happening in my body but I don't want to get my hopes up cos I'm scared I'll come crashing down big time. I've had numb niggly pains around my ovaries and uterus since Saturday, but today (being 6th day after transfer) I woke up with period like cramping and sore back. I have read somewhere that this can be implantation pain, as that's when a day 6 blastie has fully dug into the uterus lining. I am exacty one week away from AF if it shows and I pray to God that it doesn't. I feel quite 'full' around my uterus (very weird feeling) and I felt quite dizzy today. I'm not sure about the dizzyness though, as I felt quite dizzy a couple of days before the transfer but I thing that was an anxiety attack. My bb are sooooooo sore. They get very sore a week or so b/f AF (that's why this is soooo confusing as this is NOW) but they are a lot sorer than normal.
I really don't want to get my hopes up, but I can't help feeling a bit excited. The little dots around the nipples (sorry TMI) are also enlarged and darkish......could this be it????

Sorry for the lack of persies, I am going mad here.....

Big hugs to all and & to us all TTC!!

    Love
    B xxxx

    Hi girls

Beata - All of your symptoms sound like a BFP is headed your way Less than a week now until your bt. Are you going to POAS earlier or be strong?

Megan - thanks for the well wishes. How are you doing hun? Glad to hear that you have an appointment with the geneticist. I hope you're managing to keep sane. Have you booked in for your NT scan yet? And are you having the bt with it as well? Sorry - living vicariously!

AFM, still have no idea what my body is doing. I had heaps of EWCM today after my morning exercise but when I checked my cervix (sorry if TMI) there was only sticky CM I would like to think I did O two weeks ago. I have had funny feelings like AF is coming but not quite the same IYKWIM. My BBs are normal and I haven't noticed anything else such as heightened sense of smell which I did have at about 5 wks pg last time. So, I'm still waiting, waiting. I did buy some more POAS tests yesterday so I am armed for weekend. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

to everyone. Looking forward to the weekend - yay!

Hi Beata, it must be so difficult for you right now, you poor dear! Those signs sound really positive, so difficult to tell at this early stage, but looking good. I really pray that time flys by and you get your BT and that its a lovely positive for you. I'm praying really hard for you .

Cheryl, hang in there, I am sure you'll know where your at in a week or so, of course hoping for a lovely little surprise! I will certainly get the BT done with the NT scan, haven't officially booked it in yet, went to do that this week, but as I requested one of the specialist I dealt with last time, the 'roster' hasn't been done that far so they will call me to confirm a time. The geneticist on the phone said they would do the NT scan at the hospital for me, so that may be an option as well.

Have a great weekend ladies. Praying for lots of sticking to go on

    Hi Girls,

Very selfish post today, sorry! I will be back with persies later........BUT, I thought I'd test on Tuesday next week being 12 days post transfer and 2 days b/f BT (HCG should show up by then). I'd thought I'd test then as I have my FS app. on that day, and if I got a pos. I'd ask him questions about OBs etc as he won't be an OB from November this year (he got promoted to Director of IVF Austsralia a couple of months ago) and if I got a neg. I would ask about how soon I could do a fresh cycle. So, I tested today (being very impatient and not really hoping for anything to show up yet), being 7 days post transfer, but there is the faintest second pink line. Can this be a false positive? My head is spinning. I have had period like cramping since Thursday morning (that's when full implantation supposed to take place), very sore bb, light headed, v. tired since a couple of days ago and peeing slightly more than normal.........what do you think? Am I getting excited too soon? Going insane here

I don't think there is anything in the world that can test your patience more than this stuff.
    Everything is sounding positive, chick!

Hi Beata, its all looking good, just a couple of more days and you'll know for sure, I think its important to see a definite second line, . not long now, your hcg levels should be doubling if pg, so I would have thought by Monday you should see a reasonable second line. I am sure the waiting is very painful for you, but not long now hun, hang in there Hoping to celebrate with you soon!.

Ooh Beata, you have me excited for you! I presume you aren't on any kind of drugs from your transfer that could give false positives?
Anyways, like Teagz, I too am stalking you. Bring on the next test and the BT!!

    Hi Beata

Wow - that is all sounding so positive. And no, it's not a selfish post at all... I can COMPLETELY understand how you are feeling at the moment. I'm sending lots of positive thoughts your way hun, and thinking of you each day. If you can get through tomorrow maybe try testing again on Monday... that's when I think I will test too. for us both for a BFP!

    Hi lovelies,

Megan, thanks hun! I think I've looked at the pee stick about a hundred times, and there is definitely a faint line. My plan is to test everyday till Tuesday when HCG levels should definitely come up with a much darker line if I'm indeed pg (cos the line should get darker everyday). I've used First Response which is the early pg test, it says you can start testing as many as 6 days before AF is due. Since AF would be due around Tuesday/Wednesday next week, the test should have picked up the hormones by now, although they wouldn't be very high. I'll keep you updated hun!

Jo, I don't mind you stalking me! It's good to have my old buddies around for support, thanks hunni. I haven't taken any support with this transfer, so there isn't anything in my system in terms of drugs (gels or pessaries). In my cycle last year, I had to put this special gel up there to support the embryo, and to thicken up the lining.

Cheryl, I will keep everything crossed for you on Monday, I'm praying both of us will have our BFPs soon!! That would be so lovely

Aries, I hope you've managed to catch that sticky egg, I hope your BFP is not too far away hun

Bec, Samcougar, sending you girls lots of babydust and stickyvibes xx

Teagz, hi lovely! You can stalk me any time you like! lol. Keep them fingers crossed for me chicky! Big kiss hun.

AFM, went out to the movies today (partly to stop me from staring at that pee stick ), and had some lovely pasta with green peas and salmon for tea. I figure I better start eating good things just in case. Will let you know tomorrow if the line gets darker (or if it's still there......). Keep your fingers and toes crossed for me ladies!!

    Love & big hugs
    Bxxx

    Hi Beata

That's great news that you have seen the line come up quicker this time around. Here's hoping that this little frostie has snuggled in tight

AFM, still no news. I will try to remember to test tomorrow morning.

Cheryl, GL tomorrow morning hun, I hope you get that second line! I have to say, after doing so many HPT myself in my 'natural' cycles, it's awesome to actually see that second line, even though it's very faint. Will be thinking of you hun

Megan, I hope it gets darker! I think deep inside I'm petrified it will disappear..I'll let you know who it all goes. I've also been getting a lot of pain around my ovaries, is this normal if pg???

    Big hugs for everyone

    Evening ladies!

Wow its been busy in here!

Beata - How exciting for you to see that second line, wishing you all the best for the coming weeks! When I was pg with Alexander my indicator of actually being pg was the pain around my ovaries, I originally thought I was ovulating again but knew I possibly wasnt as I was awaiting AF so I did the test and it was positive. It all sounds so promising!

Chez - Good luck for testing in the morning my fingers and toes are crossed for you

Berry - How are you feeling? I hope everything is going great for you.

    to everyone

AFM - I think I am around 7 dpo and not feeling much different atm so will be expecting AF next Mon or Tues if we didnt catch that egg. Everything is crossed for another bub though. Ive had comments that we are trying so soon after Alexander and that worries me a little. DH & I are busting to be parents again and have discussed everything in depth but its just a little dampner on things. We have decided to just keep to ourselves for awhile - everyone knew we were pg when I first found out at 4 weeks (after 4 years of trying so we wanted to share the great news) so we are hoping to relax a little and enjoy our news when it happens first. Although I am not good at keeping my mouth closed, I have a HUGE supportive family and will probably want to shout it from the roof tops but will zip it for awhile (except here where I will definately share!)

Any how take care all and hope to hear lots more great results soon!

Cheryl, any news???? I have had everything crossed all day for you.

Beata, everything is sounding positive, here's to your official BFP soon.

Aries, don't worry about other peoples comments, if you and DH are ready to TTC again that is your choice no one else's. They would prob feel a little different if they were in your shoes and not just sharing their opinions. It's really good to hear you have such a supportive family.

Bec, are you still out there?? I hope everything is ok hun.

AFM I think I'm about 8 DPO not 100% sure though. I brought and OPK today so I'm all ready for next time, unless I get a big surprise soon. But I doubt it, anyway

    My love to all.
