Sweety (Dory) I was pleased to see it and see how far along you were. Week 28 is a biggen for me, so i will certainly breath easier for you now that is nearly over. It was good too see your angels there too.
Thanks for your shoulder hun.
CD 2 now and AF is blazin' having a dvd day with dh, popcorn and choc. xoxo
Gigi - sorry to hear that you have had a few down days recently. You were sounding so happy and peppy, particularly after your boogie session. BTW what a nice thing to do to give the guitar pick away - you truly are an amazingly generous lady Hope you are feeling better very soon. And just a quick question from me, now that you are back in Australia are you considering IVF? I can't remember whether you have tried it or not. Sorry to ask and feel free to tell me to butt out if you want!
Dory - so glad that you enjoy your counselling sessions. And while I missed your ticker, 28 weeks is fantastic. You have come so far. I will be thinking of you this week and your angel's EDD. I realised myself that my angel's EDD isn't far away.
Samcougar - hope you are doing well hun.
Teni - go Teni and Scott - make the most of that precious EWCM!
ChrisW - hope you are doing ok and glad that your DS is feeling better. It's hard when little ones are sick.
Hi to Powelly, Lemonade, SuzieQ, Beata, crumpet, cmeglles and everyone else.
AFM, still no sign of AF. The clomid has really stuffed up this cycle for me and I am not very happy about it. Apparently this is a reasonably common side affect. I have some Primolut that my FS gave me before she left for her conference to bring on AF but I really don't want to take it. My TCM is trying out some herbs on me but still nothing. I have had cramps on and off for 2 weeks now and my cervix has moved into a high position so maybe she is on her way. I think the cervix is high and therefore open when AF is about to happen. Is that right?
Anyway, DH and I have been talking more about our options and depending on what the FS says when she comes back we might do another IVF cycle, or we might move onto to finding an egg donor. While I would love to have a child that is genetically mine, I am a nurturer and know I will love any baby, particularly one I have carried and given birth to. I went to a friend's baby shower yesterday morning and was surrounded (ok, maybe not) by 4 young babies. I actually coped with it much better than I thought I would. One of the ladies who I had only just met let me hold her beautiful baby girl who is 6 weeks old. She was gorgeous and in between fidgets, and yawns and stretches and wind burps and smiles, she slept for almost an hour in my arms. My arms were sore from holding and rocking her but it was the best soreness I have felt for a long time. I was in love! That experience has cemented my mind that one day I will be a mum, even it is not with my own eggs. I can't imagine my life without a precious bundle. And DH is so supportive. He wants me to be happy and desperately wants a baby too, and if an egg donor is the only way to achieve that then he is completely onboard. It is a relief on one hand to know that there is another option, but a little stressful as well as I don't have any sisters, or any close friends that are the 'right' age. But that is another path to investigate.
Anyway, enough rambling from me. I hope everyone is well and keeping warm. It was -4 here this morning when I went to work!
oxo
Chez- Sorry to hear that clomid stuffed up your cycle, and i can understand you not wanting to bring on AF I'm not sure about the position of the cervix when AF is due so i'm not very much help sorry. I'm so glad the baby shower went well, I had one a couple of months ago and i think i did really well altho i couldn't bring myself to hold one of the girls bubbas when they asked me. So i think you are a truly amazing lady and i hope you soon get your own little bundle of joy.
Gigi- Sorry AF arrived, but Movies, Popcorn and Choccies are definatly the way to go
Dory- I'm glad going to the counceller helped you, i think it may be a road we may take as well depending on how we are feeling about this pg. 28 weeks wow that has just flown by (well for us anyway) I hope everything is going well for you.
Teni- Fingerscrossed for you hun, I really hope this is your month.
Hello to everyone i missed, i hope you are traveling along well.

Just popping in to say that I'm definitely leaving you lovely ladies My bloods came back with great numbers so there's no doubt any more Hopefully I'll see you all soon in the preg threads!
Ps - if you want to stay in touch more, you can add me on FB (Tenielle Reid) or read my blogs Lots of love to all of you xox
Tenibear - All the best in your pregnancy and look forward to hearing how you are going. Make sure you pop back in.
Hope - thanks for that! I had a great time away, although it was hampered by my PMT! Still no AF but I'm sure it's any minute now.
ChrisW - any updates? Bet that was like being on a little emotional rollercoaster.
As for me, had a great time away. My DS tired me out massively and I had awful PMT/PMS, terrible cramping, mood swings and many tears in those quiet moments alone. I've never had such awful PMS before in my life. It seems to have gotten worse after having my DS and seems worse again since we started trying. Strange stuff. Oh well, all settled at home and back to work tomorrow. I just wish AF would hurry up already and put me out of my misery!
Big hugs to all and sorry for the lack of personals. Still catching up!
Teni - hope to see you in the preggy threads too! Good luck with everything
Powelly - sorry to hear about the PMS - it's just cr@ppy isn't it? Glad you had a good time away although it sounds like you a longer break would have been even better. But then it always is isn't it?
Hope - hope your ob appointment went well.
Chris - damn POAS tests and those evap lines. Sorry to hear that isn't good news for you hun Hope your cycle sorts itself out soon.
Hi to Gigi, Dory, cmeglles, crumpet and everyone else.
Well, there is no chance for a BFP for me this cycle. I had an ultrasound this afternoon that my GP arranged for me - another story - after getting my b/t results from my FS. I have a 4cm cyst on my left ovary and one tiny follicle and an old follicle on the right. So despite the clomid and pregnyl I haven't ovulated. So I am stopping the pregnyl even though I haven't spoken to my FS. My TCM recommended that I do that and I agree - I think we are just 'feeding' the cyst, which is big enough now thank you very much!
So, back to the drawing board. We're off to see the IVF clinic next week and pay lots of $$ for an IVF cycle about which I am not feeling positive or confident in any way. I just can't help but wonder if my body is able to produce any good eggs at all. Anyway, I am trying to keep my chin up, but it is very hard some days.
Chez - thanks for the hello!. Sorry to hear about your cycst and old follicle. It is tough... and it's ok to feel sorry for yourself. Big hugs my friend. You always have my love and supprt.
Hi to everyone else, I have been MIA, missing my poor cat ( in hospital following radioactive iodine treatment), and feeling sorry for myself as I have a cold. Hopefully will be on the mend soon. Take care.
Massive massive congrats to Teni and Hope!!! Wishing you both an uneventful 8 months. It is nice to see some BFP's ....lets hope some more are on their way....
ChrisW - sorry to hear about your false alarm - hope you are doing OK as it must have been a tough up and down couple of days. FX AF stayed away??
Dory - your poor furbaby...when does he/she come home? Will need lots of TLC as do you! Hope you have a speedy recovery from your cold.
Powelly - glad you had a nice time away though your PMS sounds horrible!
Chez - aw sweetie not sure what to say. Just sux. Big hugs.
AFM - no BFP. Just bitterly disappointed and don't think I have actually come out of my funk yet. On CD 4 now and feeling low. Shouldn't really have expected success on first month but you can't help but hope can you. Having weird AF as well....back to weekly accupunture for me to see if it will help.
Had a lovely time away (except for getting AF on last day!). FIL was also starting to get on nerves - trying to hold my tongue was getting hard! Luckily IL's have headed to Paris for a couple of days . They have been great with DS though so I should just suck it up!
Well there's been a reason for my crazy mood swings of late. I got a BFP this afternoon. My AF was due on Monday and never arrived and I've been cramping all week and in tears and my boobs were so sore but after POAS every day with negatives, I was sure I wasn't pregnant. I decided to try and relax last night on the advice of a friend and had two glasses of wine. With no periods again today I decided to buy a First Response and up came the BFP!
Immediate reaction: FREAKED OUT! (Especially because I had a couple of wines last night :-(
I'm extremely happy but also extremely nervous about getting to my 20 weeks and hoping that the wine I had didn't do any damage. Can't believe it!!!
