Charli B - CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I am so happy for you!!! Sending you big sticky vibes. And do not feel guilty sweetie, we would all love to be in your position but we have to believe our turn will come.

Gigi and Blessed You are both having tough times - thinking of you both.

Angelic - never heard of anyone happy about painful/heavy AF before! Glad it is a good sign for you though. FX for this cycle!

Crumpet - good luck on the job!

Chez - hope AF has stayed away for you.

Dory - glad u are feeling more positive. Can you send some positive vibes my way. Not having a good time of late and when I am down I seem to seek out sad story's to make me cry. Like I haven't cried enough over the past 2 1/2 months.....

Lemonade - so sorry to have to welcome you to this thread. I really hope your stay is short. I know how you feel re pregnant women/the impatience to TTC again/the worry about AF!!! Still going through it all. No words of advise from me I'm afraid as I am definitely stumbling through.....

Have been sad the last week or so for a number of reasons I won't go into. MY cycle has been really screwy which is making me feel more down as I don't know when I will be able to start TTC again. Had AF for 7 days then stopped for 2 then I started heavy spotting again which hasn't stopped. Off for an u/s tomorrow to make sure there is no retained tissue. No thermal shift even though on day 20 which means I haven't O'd either. The whole thing is depressing......can't get pregnant if I can't O!!! Just want to start again next cycle. FX AF somehow finds it way to me and next cycle is OK - hmmmm don't hold out much hope!

    Take care everyone.

    well....

tested again this morning, faint pink line in 5 mins, so I guess it's a

I'm happy...but I am suddenly filled with anxiety. At our 8 week check up we were told not to conceive until after 2nd AF, as they is a slightly higher risk of miscarriage - would have been useful information when they discharged us!!!!!!! rather than 2 months later when we had already been trying!!!!!! I'd had on normal AF so hopefully this little bean will stick

Anyway one step at a time I guess! I'll repeat the test again in 2 days and hopefully it's getting darker. My first pregnancy was a much stronger line at this stage so I'm not entirely convinced yet!! I feel quite guilty posting about this as well, I feel like there are others trying longer who deserve the pink line before me.

Hope you're all enjoying the day off xxx
OMG YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!! sending sticky vibes ur way!!!
Crumpet - good luck on the job!

Wooohoooo Charlie - that's great news!!! Sending heaps of sticky vibes.

Keep us updated on the darkening HPT.

AFM - nothing much to report really. AF is doing what it should and my BBT is back on the low side. Counting the days to O

Charlie - OMG - you really know how to get a girls attention! Congrats! Awesome and I agree with Susie! - don't feel guilty. All the stars aligned for you when you O'd and now you have your BFP.

Oh sweetie, I truly know that now, now the fear and anxiety begins. Hang in there. Try and embrace this time and not let your fears take control. For me, this is just too precious a time to waste, letting fear dominate. Of course it will be there, but I hope you find a way to push it to the back, at least some of the time.

Oh and every pregnancy is different, including the timing and “appearance” of those sought after lines. I know its hard, but try not to strictly compare, because honestly, they are each different.

Sending you lots of love, and honestly babe, as hard as it is for others TCC to hear your news, they are going to be happy for you. It is after all what we all want so much.

Lemonade - I have had the gift of having a very caring and considerate ob. Having said that, there has been one time when the receptionist called me and not the ob with some information I was asking about. In relation to anything to do with my losses/subsequent pregnancies, my ob has available and empathetic and caring and validated my feelings. Honestly I feel truly blessed. I have had many follow up appointments, definitely one at 6 weeks post loss but also usually several before then, the earlier ones initiated by both myself and the ob. The 7 weeks is the usual time frame for post natal"physical followup" unless there are complications.

How you get on with your ob is an individual relationship and it will be different for each person. They are people with their own personalities and frailties too. It's a very complex relationship. Other people might really like your ob, but they might not have the same experiences and needs that you have. I honestly would recommend you try to talk to your ob about how you feel marginalised and forgotten since your loss by your ob. It will make you feel better to have told her, despite how hard it is to say those words, and maybe you will be comforted by what you hear or maybe not. But then you can make a more informed decision for the future.

Crumpet – blimey – I do hope you have M/S!! If you had a virus/bug, I would expect you to be feeling sick all the time, not just at night. Fingers crossed! Hope your counselling session goes well today. Sometimes the first one can be “weird” because it's basically you and the counsellor getting to know one another, I think in counselling land it's called rapport development. I was really lucky and managed to develop a really god rapport with my 3rd counsellor Trish. I think it was a combination of things – our personalities, I'd been to counsellors who hadn't met my needs in the same way ( so I knew I was on to someone special in the first session, rather than needing time to work that out), and honestly, my counsellor is a superstar, and the stars aligned to bring us together.

Chez – I am so sad to hear you were upset the other day when you posted. Know how you feel, although I seem to have bounced back.

Susie Q – good to hear from you. I am sorry that I forget to ask after you sometimes. Dory moments. Selfish bag that I am! I am sad to hear you are doing it tough. What's the go with AF? That's what you are asking yourself. Is it worth going to the Dr to have it checked out? Mine cycles were completely wacky, but then they seemed to sort themselves out. Hmm, I know what you mean about seeking out sad stories. I do that too. I also torture myself and watch birthing videos on u tube, and I cry like there is no tomorrow. Part of me thinks subconsciously I know I need to cry so I look for things to start me off and keep me going. I usually find that within a day or so of a good cry I start to feel better. Sending you positive vibes – I seem to have bounced back, so for now, I am just enjoying the absence of melancholy. Hope you can too soon.

Gigi – my sweet precious girl. I got such a sense of peace from your description of your weekend remembering your DD. I know its hard. I know it feels empty right now too. I just hope that some of the peace you could give me by the beautiful ways you described remembering your DD, also can give you some peace. It seems selfish of me to get such a sense of peace when that's all I want for you. My love sent to you with a big warm hug.

Teni – how are you doing today?

Blessed – oh babe. Mother's day is hard for us all, but I can't even begin to imagine how you must be feeling approaching what must seem like Mt Everest right now. You have a strength that has helped me through some tough times, I just hope you can find it for you, when you need it the most. I am sending you some of my strength and love. Can you be with your Mum on MD? She wrote such lovely posts on your behalf when you needed her to.

Angelic – you are so busy. I hoped the early bath and early to bed helped ease the crankienss! And you had a nice long weekend.

Aries – how is the tattoo? Did it hurt?

Samcougar – how are you doing?

Cmegelles – hello there Bermuda Girl! How are you going? Can't wait to hear.

AFM – I seem to have bounced back. No particular reason. I am glad not to be so melancholy and to see the beauty in the small things. Went to a local dawn service on Anzac day, took my own little chair as I am not really supposed to stand up for long periods, and just cried during the service. But then afterwards, I didn't feel sad or melancholy. It was actually really beautiful – there was a relatively heavy fog and it gave everything a peaceful yet mournful feeling. It's important for me to go, and DH has managed to take me when I can't really take myself.

At a very deep level, I think I am just expecting history to repeat itself very soon, and all my positivity is just delusional, but I also have hope that it won't. It's a very surreal time for me right now. I don't know how I can feel such opposite feelings all at the same time. A bit like Gigi commented – didn't know I could feel so many feelings, and most of them conflicting, all at once.

Crumpet - CONGRATULATIONS to you as well!!!! Gosh - hopefully this is the start of BFP's on this thread. Sneding you big sticky vibes!!

Dory - I don't post often enough for you to remember me! I will be posting more often though as hopefully I should be TTCing again. I can't imagine how you are feeling as you approach the mid stages of your pregnancy. I am sure I can speak for everyone when I say we are rooting for you (In an American context and not the Aussie one!!!!) Anyway, I think of you often. You are such an amazingly strong person.

Charlie B - any more news? Have you tested again??

    Have a good day everyone

And how did the appointment go today? I hope it went well, I remember feeling totally drainined after my first councelling session so hope you're feeling ok.
I guess a BFP helps though!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you all for the good wishes as well - my line is still there today, not super dark but came up straight away so I guess that's a good thing. I think I'll wait a few more days to go for a bloodtest though.

SusieQ - sorry to hear you have been feeling sad. I'll be sending out ovulation vibes..... and ovulationn vibes to Lemonade as well!!!

Dory - thanks for your wonderful advice (as usual!)
I'm so glad you have "bounced back" a bit
I can't really understand fully what you're going through but I don't blame you for the mixed emotions. I hope that history never repeats itself again, and you can write a new history for yourself, with a healthy full term bub!

congrats again crumpet!! I hope the BFP's keep coming!!

CharlieB- you too hun, so very happy for you, Congratulations.

Dory- Sweety, you are doing so well, I have every faith that this time will be different and everything will be smooth. I know it doesn't help hun as the feelings will still be there but you are doing so well. So keep going as you do, one day at a time, one moment at a time. You are an incredible mumma.

SusieQ- How confusing hun. I hope it becomes clear to you soon and you can join these girls and their lovely news. In the meantime, go easy on yourself hun.

    Blessed, thinking of you hun.

Chez- Thanks for your thoughts and wishes too.

Cmegles- hope you return with good news too.

Everyone I have missed - Love and Peace to you all and the best of luck.

Guys, I am so very thrilled for you all and I hope this little thread helped you some of the way there to your BFPs.
I am got too much going on right now so I am out of here for now. I just want to thank you all so much for all the love and support you have given over the last few months. You have all become a light in my life.
My SIL and Brother are at the hospital as we speak and I will have another niece or nephew tomorrow. I have been instructed to make their favourite dish for after the birth...Penne con Pollo- Creamy Chicken, Mustard, Artichoke pasta. It is yummy...try it. I also toss spinach through it before the it hits the plate. I have a lot of sewing to do and other things.
Life it taking a little spin again for me, so I will back out and try to ride the wave for a while. I am grateful to know you all and wish you all the very best. I often think of your baby's with our little girl and hope they are all playing together.
It is time for me to just 'be' for a while. It is a bit challenging atm and that is ok
    Thank you all.
I will be in my blog from time to time if anyone needs a shoulder. I will also be on PM of course. Sorry if i miss anyones news. It will not be on purpose. I will try to drop in from time to time to see your updates. Take care my friends. xoxoxo

WOW! Two BFPs within a few days! How amazing! Congratulations to both of you
Hopefully more of us will be joining you soon

AFM, I'm going okay. I'm not sure I mentioned that I worked the other day, but I did, for the first time in almost a year. It felt like the past year hadn't happened the moment I started (not a good thing, tbh...)
I got a few stabby tummy pains from seeing mummas with bubs or bellies but most of the day I wasn't concerned with my personal problems - more concerned with wanting to murder my coworkers

    for charlie and crumpet

TeniBear - nothing like co workers for some distraction! Good job for getting back into it - I remember how hard that first day back was.....

Gigi - I'm sorry we will not be seeing you around as much but I completely understand you needing to back off for a bit. You were so kind when I first joined this thread and I really appreciate all your support.
I wish you all the best and hopefully you pop in from time to time and update us on how things are going

    Hi Everyone!

I am back! We had a lovely trip and I will write more later....I wanted to write a quick congrats to Charlie B and crumpet. And welcome to Lemonade.

I just wanted to say that today is my EDD. I spent the morning arranging flowers and dropped bouquets off at the birthing pavilion for the moms there and a big one for the nurses and doctors. DH and I have had plenty of sad moments, but we took the day off and are spending it together. I am trying to be really hopeful that maybe we were lucky in Bermuda, and that is keeping me pretty positive today in spite of the sadness....I am on CD23 but I won't test until my period is pretty late I have decided.

Sending you all hugs and love and sticky vibes and baby dust. Will write some more on not a sad day.

SusieQ – you know, given its a TCC thread, I would be really happy if you are all using that word in the aussie context! I spent some time in the USA (OMG it's 10 years ago!) and easily translate between some of the vernacular. ( wow – took me a good few seconds to think of that word, I was going to write lingo!)

Charlie – goo to see that line is still there! Thankyou, that is such a nice way to look at things. Writing a new history. I like it!

Crumpet – so good that your session lifted a weight from your shoulders ….they are hard sessions but rewarding.

Teni – wow, sweet escape for a day when you are work. It just means you were distracted from the immediacy of your bereavement. It doesn't mean you love Ianto any less.

Aries – good work on getting the tatt! Has it healed now? Hope your cycles sort themselves out soon.

Cmeglles – my thoughts are with you today for your EDD of your darling angel Robert Christopher.
Glad you and DH are together, and the way you have honoured your angel, is just beautiful.

Gigi - sending you my love. Will try, despite my Dory brain, to remember to PM you. Is your blog on BB or another one?

    AFM - all good here.
