Those people need to get a life... I wouldnt worry about it too much, I think its a lot of trouble to go to those lengths and for concrete I dont think they would win. I mean if the oven wasnt working and you refused to fix or something like that they would have a case. But over concrete? I lived in a unit once that didnt have any concrete and so we couldnt use the line in the winter months because it got muddy and actually our line is at the side of our house now and there is bark underneath it (we dont use it cause I am scared of spiders), I dont think there is actually anything "illegal" about it. Plus didnt they inspect the house before they moved in? If they didnt like it they should have kept looking! Dont let it ruin your weekend, DH is coming home, you have amazing news to tell your family and you are going to make them all so happy (whether that is tonight or tomorrow or whenever you choose) so forget those people. Like DH said, not a good way to get you to renew the lease huh! LOL
Have a nice shower and enjoy your night with DH and lil Spring, they are all that matters
Oh, and those results are fantastic - and a cause for celebration Yet another sign that everything is going to be just fine and you will be meeting lil Spring in 6 months or so
Lynn - Bridezilla I ain't! I think I could be every man's dream missus, don't want a big wedding, don't like flowers or wear jewellery AND i love the cricket! Lol. Hey, good luck with the bloods tomorrow, I know it is not fun, but it is one step closer to your BFP.
Spring - How stupid are your tennants? Have I missed something? Since when is it a sue-able offence to not have concrete under the clothes line? Send em up a pair of rubber boots each and tell them to get over themselves. And definetly do not let them bother you on your weekend with DH, especially the weekend where you get to tell the family your good news. Woo hoo on your test results too!!
Mel - Did you wait up last night? I gave DP last night off, but he ain't getting off so easy tonight. Lol. Hey, I don't really like the OPK's either, but where do you get them on line, cos in the chesmist they are about $25 for 7 and that is expensive for somethinkg that doesn't really work for me. But if they are cheaper online, maybe I will try them again.
I get mine from a website that Spring put me onto... I think there is some rule about putting links to other websites so I will email it to you. I find them a little to expensive from the shop as well.
Speaking of Bridezillas - on Foxtel sometimes I watch that show called Bridezillas and I always say to DH "see how lucky you are" LOL
Ha ha Mel, I love Bridezillas and I always say the same thing to DP! He always say's "No YOUR'E the lucky one, getting ME" Actually he was the one that went to the registry and booked in our time and date and he called me an left a message on my phone just saying "How lucky are you, you get to marry me on the 23rd at 3:30pm" Lol, he is such an idiot!
LOL that's funny - its like he is doing a public service I think he is pretty good for having gone and booked it himself, DH and I went together and I was ready to walk out cause we ended up waiting in the queue for over an hour He spared you that... what a man!
Bailey - I love Bridezillas as well. I can't believe some people can be so rude. You are a man's perfect missus!! LOL. I love getting flowers - but rarely do, so I just buy them for myself
Deb - get out of here! You should be getting busy Sending you heaps of BFP vibes
Mel - hope the kids are being kind to you. I'm sure you are not an evil step-mum. My day today was ok, went to the dentist and he said that my teeth are good. I hate the dentist, so I am glad that it is over for another year. I did have a spotless house until DH came home and let the puppies in Sometimes I wonder why I clean at all. DH thinks I am a clean freak! I bet he would complain if it was a mess!!! But I'm not going to complain because I would love a crazy house right now - dogs running around, kids running around, screaming, yelling, barking.......................absolutely out of a control house sounds good to me right now! It just seems too quiet
Spring - I hope you are having a nice night with DH and your boys. I hope they are behaving! Did you show DH how well you have trained them?????? That is excellent news on your test results. Everything will be fine with lil Spring and you will be holding her/him very soon.
OMG, I just found that DHs best mate and his wife are pregnant
I know I should be happy for them and I guess in a way I am but deep down I just wish it was me! They werent really trying, apparently she went off the pill in January and just thought if it happens it happens, if not then not. These are the friends who change the subject when we talk about Nicholas and didnt want to look at his photos
I dont wish for her to go through this and the only thing I can hope is that when she gets to 36 weeks pregnant, she thinks about me and wonders how she would cope if she lost her baby then. Apparently they told DH that they wanted us to find out from them before we heard it from others and they have been worried about me and how I would handle it which is I guess nice. They said they think about me all the time and wonder how I am... why not pick up the phone and ring and say is Mel coping ok? Is that too logical, or should I say "uncomfortable".
Anyway sorry for my vent, I will now read through todays posts and do personals.
Lynn - Sorry to hear about your levels. I am not sure how all that stuff works, but can there still be a chance that it will happen, maybe just a little later? Thanks for your message today, it was great.
Spring - That sucks about your window, hopefully it will all be sorted out tomorrow. Good to hear that DH is back.
Mel - I am sorry you are having a cr@ppy few days. It must have been hard to have all of the questions, but it sounds like you handled it well and managed to keep it together. It's hard to do isn't it? And now with your DH's friends... It will be your turn soon, I am sure of it. I am surprised you haven't been testing already When can you start? I am not heading off on the 'honeymoon' till the 7th, D-is now-H goes on friday for his male bonding surf trip (I call it the sausage sizzle-lol) and then I will meet him there at easter.
Hi too to Dream, Flowerchild and Chelle
Well, yes today was the 'big' day. Honestly the whole thing took just over 7 minutes, lol. We were laughing the whole time, it is just so weird as we went to the registry and had it done, and they take it so seriously, but to us, standing there holding eachothers hands and saying the vows it was hilarious. Don't get me wrong, I am not bagging marriage, and I am so happy, but it is just strange to say all that stuff all so seriously. We just muck around together so much, it was just weird. DS came in and my mum had bought him paper and pencils and Cheese and Bacon Balls to entertain him so he was perfect. When we were waiting to go in, he said 'Is this the wedding shop?' Lol, he thought we were going to buy a wedding. I wonder what he thinks a wedding is?? So, we didn't go out, we came home and ordered gourmet pizza. Perfect!! Thankyou all so much for all of your well wishes too over the last few days, it has meant so much to me, you are all so awesome.
Lynn - I am so sorry your tests didnt come back with good news I really hope the nurse is right and that it doesnt mean they wont go up again, I will so keep for you. I hope you are ok.
Spring - Surely if it was your neighbours who broke the window they would have said something... but then some people are really dodgy too. That sucks about having to clean the house now, dont feel bad about it being messy - you are pregnant afterall and we all know how much it zaps your energy. Hope you have a nice night with DH.
Bailey - CONGRATULATIONS Newlyweds I hope you have a fantastic honeymoon.
Nat - Hoping today wasnt too hard for you.
Deb - Still wondering how those eggies are going.
Hi to everyone else,
Not much happening on my end, DH and I went to movies and saw TMNT (I havent fully grown up yet I think) and PP for dinner cause it was stinking hot here in Melbourne today. Then came home to the news about our friend so that sucks but oh well what can you do. DH is working most of the weekend so it will be pretty boring for me.
Oh, no more pg symptoms on my end No cramping, no bloating, no discomfort, no extra CM, nothing - I guess it wont be my month AGAIN!
Well I am sure you are all well and truly tucked away in bed by now so I will catch you all tomorrow.
Hey Bailey, Sorry didnt see your post. I thought maybe you would have gone on HM today but its ok, the 7th isnt that far away. Glad to hear you had a nice day... I was the same as you I giggled alot through our vows, for starters I kind of felt embarrassed and nervous and also I think I was trying not to get teary. Too funny that DS thought you were going to buy a wedding, a story for the 21st no doubt! Gourmet pizza sounds great, the way I see it is it doesnt matter what you do and how you do it, as long as it makes you happy and you are doing it please yourselves
LMAO at "the sausage sizzle"
Enjoy your first night of sleep, tomorrow you wake up an old married woman
Mel
P.S. I dont think I can really start testing for another 2-3 days, but I am sooooo tempted to start tomorrow but when there is no hope of getting a positive there is probably no point so I will try not to... this will be a test of willpower
Congratulations Mrs. Bailey, as Mel said, it doesn't matter how you do it as long as you are happy and I think that they day was just perfect for you. How cute DS asking if it was the wedding shop, if only it was that easy.
Mel: Did you give into temptation and test? I am sorry that you are upset about the infamous couple falling pregnant. Perhaps once her body start to change and she starts to feel movements, she will have a tiny insight into what you have been through. It will be you time soon hun. I know that doesn't make you feel much better because soon isn't good enough, but I wish with all my might that March is your month and you get the best Christmas pressy ever.
Lynn: I hope you are feeling a little bit better hun. Pop in and let us know how you are.
