Lol....ok, I have only just done it and I got right online. Line still there, but actually is a little lighter than yesterday. But, I did get up and go to the toilet at about 3 so maybe that affected it? Not sure, but it is still there. I am going up to the shops later, so I will get a chemist one and try that.

Woo HOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! Bailey - can I suggest you go to the doctor and ask for a blood test. It will take away all the guessing - you will know your numbers and there will be no more analysing lines on a stick. I HIGHLY recommend it. YOur GP should be happy to do this for you given your history and being in the city you will have the results back this afternoon...

    Thinking of you today...

ETA: The line being lighter this morning - yes if you had done a wee at 3am this can affect. Interestingly I get stronger lines in the afternoon after limiting fluids and holding urine for 4 hours... So don't worry about the depth of the line... Think about the blood test...

Thanks guys, I might go up there later, I just remember with Asha when I told the doctor I was pregnant he asked when my last period was and he then said it was too early so to come back in a couple of weeks. I just thought he must have meant that it was too early for him to be sure it was a viable pregnancy as i was probably only abour 4 weeks that last time. I think that you guys are right though, maybe I will just go up there - the medical centre I usually go to is only about 200m up the road, so I really have no excuse really

Thanks Klee, I still don't trust it though. I think I am still scarred from my false positive last month.

Flowerchild - If I really was UTD, by looking at my last period, it would make me 4 weeks and 6 days. Do you think that this is too early to be going to the GP? I am just not sure, I don't want them to send me away like I am some kind of crazy person

NO it's not too early Bailey. HCG levels are detectable in your blood before they are detectable in urine. From about 10 days post ovulation. Of course the levels will be lower then.

Some gps will do a dip test in their surgery and if negative (which sometimes will happen as the tests measure about 50 miu where chemist brands measure about 20 miu) and tell you to come back in a few days. INSIST. say I am getting positives - you know my history and I need the reassurance.

In the bad old days GP's and some obs wouldnt' see you until you were about 8 weeks along. This isn't so anymore or at least shouldn't be. Many women like us need that reassurance for good and valid reasons. So go confidently if you decide to do the btest. You deserve to know and you deserve to be listened to.

    Good luck Bailey...

Hey Bailey - woohoo - see i told you this month was your month - congratulations again !
We are certainly going to have a big mothers group with all these bubba's ! ...so what happened to testing this Wednesday (you serial tester you !)

Tess - love the ticker. How are you feeling ? Whereabouts are you in the ACT ? Could we perhaps meet half way one day (do you drive)...we could make a day trip out of it.

Lynn - good luck for today and i hope that the following BT brings another BFP !

Spring - how you going luv ? I had a headache after Sunday - listening to you 3 women gasbag - geez you can talk...lol.

Nicole - sorry to hear about your loss. We are more than happy to have you here and to talk and help anyway we can. It does get easier over time (saying that i balled my eyes out last night)...and i must say it does help to have a sense of humour - there has to be some happiness in the end to bring ourselves up no matter how hard it is. Your BFP will come - it just wasn't this month. I had 3 periods in 5 weeks after bleeding for 5 weeks after the birth and i was like - what is going on with my body !!! I have never had this before so i knew it was all the hormones just getting back to normal and straight after this i fell. You will get that BFP - but with it comes and emotional rollercoaster...it is hard but we pray for an earth baby at the end....Hope to speak with you soon.

Hello to everyone else - hope you are having a lovely day (it is bloody freezing here in Sydney today - i am still in my pj's)

Just wanted to say Bailey - i am only 4wks 3days and i am off for a BT this afternoon. I am trying to convince DH (and myself) that it is all real so a BT will hopefully confirm this.

Tommysmum - anywhere in the ACT is about 3hrs from Sydney. Maybe we could have a mid-point meet up one day - that would be really good. I am feeling really okay - got some nausea (more so than with Thomas but I think I am just more aware of symptoms now) and still got cramping so keep running to the loo to check!!

Nicole - my cycles were the same as Tommysmum after giving birth so maybe you hormones are still settling down. Don't worry your BFP will come.

Hi to everyone else - looking forward to hearing the results of Lynn's BT. Have my fingers crossed all is well.

Speak to you later - mini crisis in the office.

(Wish I was still in my PJs - I would even be happy with slippers at the moment!!)

Just missed the call from the clinic because I was in bed I had to get up at 5.30am this morning for my bt which is sooooooooooo early for me. I did the groceries on my way home because the shops are empty and I don't have to worry about bumping into prams etc etc. I got home and felt really sick. I have a sore throat so I went back to bed for a lay down and two and half hours later the phone rings and wakes me up! Still have a sore throat but I'll be right. Have the trackies and slippers on so I will jump on the lounge and rest.

Ok ok, you are probably thinking like we care about all of the above! Here is the news....................... Prog 42 which they said is fantastic. So I will take their word for it. Last cycle it was only 24. Mean something?? I don't know.

I did find this piece of interesting information........progesterone level for a single baby before pg is 1 to 28; conception to 12weeks is 9 to 47.

Fingers crossed that little Hope is growing nicely in there!

That's great news Lynn!!!! That shows that you ovulated and that if you conceived your body is producing enough progesterone to support a pregnancy. WOO HOOO!!!!!!!!

Those levels you quoted are using ngmol/l - in Australia we use nmol/L.

Progesterone in the luteal phase should be 20-110 nmol/L. In the first trimester of pregnancy the levels are generally 30-160nmol/L. Remembering a 7dpo progesterone level won't tell you if you are pregnant or not... So we wait a little bit longer all the while praying that egg met sperm for you this month my love...

wonderful news Lynn - its all looking hopeful
not wanting to get your hopes up too much but when I fell pg with phoebe the first sign i had that something was up was a sore throat, and that was about a week before AF was due! so there's hope, slight play on words!
you are all making me jealous being still in bed and with pj's, i have a mini crisis in teh office too, i think the rest of the assistants had the same idea as you guys as I am the only one in. hence i am a little lonely

Great news Lynn, do those levels mean there could be a couple of kids in there? Lol, how exciting.

Tess - If all is ok with me, I will be about 3 days ahead of you

Tommysmum - I only got dressed so I could go up the medical centre, I think I may go and get back into my pj's too.

Ok, after much peer pressure (not) I went up to the medical centre and got my BT. I said I would see any doctor available cos it was packed, and I got lucky and saw the best one there. I told her I thought it was a bit early but because of my past etc, and she said of course and was really fantastic, and was asking how I have been etc. So I had my blood test and I can't get the results until tomorrow BUT, I then bought another HPT in the Discover brand strips and well what do you know, another line. So i think I am starting to believe it now, with 3 lines out of 3. So I will still wait to see what they say tomorrow, but I am almost starting to get excited now!

yay Lynn - those results are good - hope you did catch that egg - things come in 3's so lets hope you are the next May BFP!!

Klee - I know what you mean about being alone - I am holding the fort too - why is it that all the BIG problems occur when you are on your own!! Hope your mini crisis is solved soon - if not just leave early and worry about it tomorrow like i am going to do today (hee hee).

bailey - we posted at the same time - that is so fantastic I knew it!! It can't possibly be 3 false positives. I am getting my bt done (hopefully) in 3hrs so will also (hopefully) get my results tomorrow.

Looking forward to finding out your levels honey and wishing you 'definite' congrats.
