Hey Bella

I had an initial scan for dating purposes, this was estimated to be about 7 weeks at this stage, it was then that we found out they were twins, they couldn't separate them at that time, so they couldn't rule out Adjoined twins. I had to wait 3 weeks to have another scan and it was at this scan that they found a feint membrane between the twins. After that I didn't have another scan until 20 weeks then I had one 4 weeks later. After 24 weeks they wanted to scan me every 3 weeks, and once I reach 32 weeks I have to be scanned every 2 weeks. Luckily for me I don't work, I am a stay at home mum. But the second trimester is a breeze, you should be fine, I am now at 27.5 weeks and can tell you that I'm finding things difficult now, so can't imagine what it would be like to be on your feet all day as a nurse!!! If I were you I would see how you go, with a view to perhaps leaving a bit earlier than a normal pregnancy. But everyone is different, you may find things a bit easier than me, I am normally quite petite, so perhaps I'm just a weakling and can't take the weight! But be prepared for some morning sickness in the first trimester, normally around dinner time, continual grazing helped me, but still it's not very pleasant.

Good luck with it all and let us know how you get on.
