19wks preg with twins and got problems :(

i had my ultrasound today was so excited to hopefully find out the sex to be told i'm being sent to melbourne as one twin is stuck cause the other one is hogging all the amniotic fluid. i'm really scared has anyone else been thru this? i have no idea what is going to happen we're just waiting to get a phonecall to say when we need to be there.

That's great that you were able to get the surgery so quickly, it must have been a scary time for you! I hope both bubs remain safe and strong and you can carry them for a couple of months longer at least

muminalice- im interested to see how they do it! they gave me the option to be awake for the surgery but i chose not to, at that stage i was getting too emotional (i got postponed as they had a baby come in needing surgery so was in the prep area for 2hrs thinking about it!).
beckoes- yes we found out we are having girls! Sooo excited!!!
i am just blown away by the amount of support on here, it's amazing thanks so much everyone!!!

well we had a scan last thurs then again on tues and they said the brain isnt growing as fast as it should, theres space between the brain and the skull that shouldnt be there. So we're not sure if its definite brain damage or not. Waiting on getting an MRI appointment the specialist wants it for wed or thurs next wk but depends when i can get in. Have another scan next thurs in melb too.
