See I would have been happy with that (easily pleased) but apparently because Childcare/school didn't get the girls to make anything (except the card which DD1 made at school) he didn't think to get them to make something.

Keike - he always has a list of things that he wants. It's one of his favourite past times, researching things on the net that he would like and then emailing me the links

DS got DH a card (made at nursery) and a keyring (made at church) for Father's Day this year (we celebrate earlier than you in my country) and DH wasn't fussed. I completely forgot it as I was preparing for an exam. Which meant an earful from my mother as I forgot to post something to my father too.

Thing is, DH doesn't do anything for Mothering Sunday either. It isn't a big deal for us. I don't want a calendar to tell me which days I am supposed to be appreciated: do it all year round! Neither of us do breakfast in bed as we don't like sleeping on crumbs, but coffee in bed is nice - but can happen any time in the year and that makes it more special.
