Wow! Congrats - I am sure it will be awesome.
MrsMac's brother is my DH. The wedding just over 3 years ago (the weekend I found out I was pg with DD... awwwww...) was at the Warwick, and it was very professional and very nice, even though the weather wasn't kind to them. He got some fabulous shots (and as his assistant for the day, so did I - one of mine even made it into their album, LOL!). The staff were wonderful and the food was nice from memory. I am not sure whether this couple got special treatment though - her parents are nationals and friends with the president
Sounds like you've been given a great lead though on a place that's more cost effective. I imagine the wedding we attended would've cost a fair bit.
GL - I am sure you will have a glorious wedding day!

Snacks thanks i hope it all works out, its funny i said i would never get married again as i am not one to be centre of attention but i am very excited about this. I think it will be only 20 - 25 of us there so it will be very personal.

Sweets, I think you need to be prepared to be the centre of attention on your own wedding day! But 20-25 people sounds lovely and intimate. I'm sure it'll be beautiful.

    Advice

I just shot a wedding at the Shangri-la in Fiji a few weeks ago. I loved the venue. The people there are so kind and attentive. It was amazing........ The location is obviously incredible Oh, and the breakfast is amazing! Fiji is a traveler's country par Excellence, and whatever your budget, Fiji gives good value for your vacation dollars and plenty of ways to spend them. have a great wedding!!!

Congratulations!! I didn't get married in Fiji, but eloped to Vanuatu. I cannot recommend an intimate island wedding enough!! It is so easy and stress free. I hope you have a fantastic wedding.

Snacks i know, just dont think it will be as over whelming like a big wedding. I like the idea of being away and in a relaxed holiday mode, i think it will help me alot. I love party's and other peoples weddings but i am not comfortable at my own. Sounds silly i guess but i have always been like that.

Megan thanks that is what we are aiming for easy and stress free.
