Star,
Your priest should be able to give you a copy of a generic baptism book, I know I got one when I registered Charlie to be baptised. My DH is also not catholic (but I am) and he didn't have a problem with the proceedings. He knelt for his blessing, but didn't repeat any of the prayers. He just agreed to raise his son as a catholic (which is why you're baptising your baby anyway) and just stopped short of the things he wasn't comfortable saying. All in all though, he thought the ceremony was beautiful, and proudly tells everyone that his son was baptised in a church. Good luck with it all, star. It's a difficult position to be in.
