    I ended up using scrapbooking stickers for mine and a bit of ribbon.

    Another alternative for craft clueless people like me, is to ask the Godparents to buy the candle as their gift. Our priest suggested this and the Godparents were grateful to be able to get something that would be appreciated (although they gave a gift of cash as well).

    I made mine actually we were given a candle and told to decorate it in class. I am no arty farty crafty person but it ended up ok well no one laughed at it .

    I know a great place to buy them in Sydney.. but from memory I think they start at $25 and go up - SIL & BIL got them for their kids Christenings.
