first question does this mean no presents not that I mind getting a gift but we are looking at $600 + for accomadation plus a 10hr trip each way and a ferry trip $120

second question we were told about the wedding date back in January so we could book accomadation etc, anyway a mention was made of child minding as Jack isn't invited to wedding I am presuming this means reception anyway I emailed the bride and groom last week to ask what if any arrangements had been made re child minding.

The groom told Jase in jan they were arranging some people to mind kids in the room next to reception so although I have never left Jack with anyone besides Jase I was ok I can do this...if I feel weird I can duck out and check on him..

so they haven't responded I dont know whether to email them again..I feel pushy if I do, I need to know cause if nothing is organised I will go to wedding but not reception Jase will go to both..so I need to know as although we have replied to invite and dont want them paying for me to be at reception if I am goign to get there and find out I can't

would you be irritated to be asked this 6 weeks before wedding...BTW we have never met the bride and the groom was our best man
