BG, we wanted to use "It's your love" but good friends of ours beat us to it LOL. Instead we used "Buicks to the moon" by Alan Jackson.

How long will I love you
    I don't really know
    I'd like the think forever
is how far we could go
So let me paint a picture
    of how its gonna be
    They day you don't mean
    everything to me

When a nickels worth a dollar
and gold aint worth a dime
    when they build a ship
on waters that will take you
    back in time
    When the stars have
    all been counted
    And I stop loving' you
    Honey they'll be driving
    Buicks to the moon

Now you don't have to worry
    about what comes to pass
This old world may wear out
    but my love's gonna last
    If they ever build
    that highway to the moon
    I'll just find somethin' else
    to promise you.

Garth Brooks has some really sweet ones, but Country may not be your thang though LOL.

country music channel on all the time here so it's definitely our "thang" - but it's not for everyone!

Faith Hill and Tim McGraw are married IRL - they have come out with quite a few songs together that are really nice - a couple of them would be good for wedding music...

Some good songs mentioned already! Here are some more:

It had to be you - Harry Connick Jr
Heaven (candlelight remix) - DJ Sammy
    I'll Be - Edwin McCain
    Moondance - Van Morrison/Michael Buble
Come away with me - Norah Jones

All the best! Let us know what you end up choosing

We decided to opt for a more "modern" bridal waltz and we used a Jack Johnson song called "Better Together". Here is the first few lines of the song (so sweet!)

    There's no combination of words
I could put on the back of a postcard
No song that I could sing
But I can try for your heart,
our dreams, and they are made out of real things
    like a shoebox of photographs
    with sepia-toned loving

Really mellow, peaceful and lovely song - I cried the whole way through!!

Other songs used on the night were:

Entrance Song: I'm a Believer by Smashmouth
Cake Cutting: Icecream by Sarah McLachlan
Father/Daughter: My Girl by The Temptations
Final/Farewell Dance: Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) by Greenday

During the open dancing part of the night we had a mixture of oldies and newies so I think all bases were covered. I wouldn't worry too much about what other people will think (ie. The Oldies with the Adam Sandler song - which I really wanted!!) - in the end it will be your moment and your memory and you should represent it with a song that you both love!

Another suggestion is "Iris" by The Goo Goo Dolls

I walked down the aisle to an acoustic version of Everlong by Foo Fighters played by my brother.... Our bridal waltz was 2 songs... the 1st was Miracle by Foo Fighters which then broke into the original version of Everlong... which was great to watch my grandparents bopping away to!!
We also played Forever by Ben Harper and Gold To Me by Ben Harper, and a few other songs that I will remember when I am less sleepy.
Definitely let us all know which songs you choose.
    All the best.
