Hi , my partner and i are getting married next march , and wondered how other belly belly members went about approching the subject of pre nups or legal agreements & how soon after your married do u intend to change your will .
a little detail to explain .
My Partner has no assests or savings - where i do .
he also has 4 children from previous relationship/s which i have limited & or nothing to do with , and i dont wish to contribute financilaly to their lives where its not necassary ( i know it sounds rude but u just have to understand ) .
in the event of divorce i would want no assests purchased prior to realationship touched or have to be sold ( if i can do that ) . in the event of death - he would be left the family home and a small portion of cash in bank .
the rest to be left to any children of mine .

i dont want to sound rude i just want it to know how to approch it with him . as when we start approching money we fight ( hes not very good with it and im a nearly graduated accountant ) . also when drawing any documents would all my assests have to be named in the pre nup document ?
