Nah I think it's a cute idea! I hang out with my mum at her bowls club all the time, I'm thinking of having dd's 1st birthday there Nothing better than a good package either, so you don't have to worry about a thing. Is that a good price? I never looked into receptions when I got married so I'm not sure about the value. If you like the place then why not?
I think so too. And this is way cheesy but it was the place we had our first date many moons ago, that place has alot of memories and to me it would be special but DP isn't so sure. He's always so worried about what people think..

I estimated for 50 people and it works out to about $4500. And with a small ceremony, rings, dress and tuxe should be no more than $8000. Obviously we won't get married anytime soon as i'd need over a year to save and plan! But its nice to know that its an option.
