My gf had an elmo party for their DD's first birthday and it was awesome. She created a Sesame Street Sign (using wrapping rolls painting the same colours and cardboard for the sign) and instead of it saying Sesame Street it said her DD's name on one side and ABC 123 on the other. It looked great. We made an elmo pinata with a balloon crepe paper cut up and an orange large pom pom nose. We even made elmo hats with red party hats orange pom pom's and googly eyes. They all looked great! For lolly bags you can get grey plastic cups and draw lines on them to look like Oscar's trash can. Games are (from a few sites I looked at) "Find elmo's blocks" Hide some alphabet blocks around the play room and let the kids find them. Get a box and paint a fish bowl on it, give the kids an orange Jelly bean each and have them stand however far away from the box (mark an x with tape on the floor) and see if they can get Dorothy back into her home! Instead of "Simon says" play Elmo says![]()
