It's a fun concept but I don't know if I could go through with it if I had one of those beautiful big white dresses!! And I imagine it would be quite hard to thoroughly trash my knee-length, cotton, 50's-style BLACK dress that I wore for my wedding!!
I love that dress so much though, because it's suitable for so many occasions that are a bit dressy, but don't require formal stuff with sparkles and satin... I wear it to dinner on our wedding anniversaries and it gets a good workout for other weddings and things like that so yeah, I'd be inclined to look after it!
Which reminds me, a seam in the lining underneath the skirt has come apart, must get around to fixing that up!

My best friend is desperate to do a wedding dinner, I think where we all wear the dresses we wore to her wedding. Not sure how that will work, I was a bridesmaid and 7 months pregnant...

But I think it'd be SO fun to have a dinner where everyone wears their own wedding dresses.

I trashed the dress but for purely destructive reasons - geeze it felt good watching things go up in smoke!

You can do TTD without actually trashing it though. Google about and see.

Sometimes it can have more to do with the location, scenery and accessories than getting into mud or whatever. Though I do like the ones that end up sopping wet

Melani will do one say when Ruby is a bit bigger!

I couldn't do it to mine, even though it is wrapped in tissue paper and hasn't seen the light of day since I put it away LOL.

Yeah my intention isn't to totaly trash my dress, just got to some beutiful location & take photos, ours were all at the church & reception so it'd be nice to go to the beach or a rainforest somehwere.

my 30th party is going to be a "wedding party" where you can wear a wedding dress, bridesmaid dress or if you havent been either then a tragic 80s dress or similar would be fun too!

Beach... rainforest... Hmmm. You know where there's a beach and rainforest and a photographer, don't you? (A photographer who's not trying to steal Sam's chance to get her photo mojo back, really she's not... )

What about finger painting with the kids? That would be a fantastic way to TTD!

The photographer who did my maternity and Byrons newborn photos does the 'trash the dress' shoots. They look awesome, i have often thought about it myself but even after 3 years of having the dress just packed away doing nothing i still cant bring myself to do it just yet (probabky wouldnt fit anyway lol)

I want to wear my dress if we renew our vows one day. Though I haven't had mine cleaned yet and it has fake tan on it. We will be celebrating our 4th anniversary this Aust Day.
