    Yay that's so exciting!!!

I wore thongs to my wedding!! They weren't your everyday rubber thongs, they were white and had thin straps just like thongs. I desperately wanted to wear my Jimmy Choo stiletos but I ended up marrying a man only an inch taller than me and I didn't want to be leaning down for a kiss on our wedding day!

Nobody even saw my shoes so it didn't make a difference. The main thing was that I was comfortable!

It's your day so you get to choose what you wear! If you want to wear thongs then go for it - the main thing is that you are comfortable and that you enjoy yourself.

Your wedding - your choice but that said if I were to get married on the sunshine coast I'd do it barefoot on the beach

My friend wore pretty white thongs, they were leather ones with little diamontes on them, I think she said she paid $20 for them, we only saw them when she was moving around to get photos taken (in a garden) and she had to pull her dress up so she didn't drag her dress on the ground. Wear what is comfy!

Its your day so you set the dress code! I wore thongs to my reception (not to the ceremony).

Congratulations Leash & Shel!! That's fantastic!

And yep, go the thongs. Blisters and sprained ankles are no fun (and think of the dangerous combination of champagne and heels - eeep).

Leasha- Hell yeah u can wear thongs. DH and I got married today, and I wore my maternity tunic, knee length leggings and thongs. I did take my sunnies off my head though.
Congrats on the ceremony. Bout time they started recognising it.

Yeah i reckon go for it! Whatever is comfortable. Personally, I'd go out and get some pretty thongs. I wore sneakers at my wedding, you couldnt see them anyway as I had a long dress. I just fall over in heals.
