Professor missed 2 days of work last week, one the day after we found out the bank was foreclosing on us, and one up at the hospital with me. Then yesterday he was in hospital all day with the same thing.

Today he's at the office to 'catch up', and doesn't know what time he'll be home.

I'm not sure if this is the culture in every workplace, but I'm so sick of it. They have an entire drafting TEAM, why does he get ripped into when he has a couple of days off?! He's been told several times he's THE most accurate team member, except when it comes to performance reviews they screw him over.

I'm so sick of not seeing my husband, and I'm sick of them not even appreciating what he does - they'll never thank him. He works over Christmas every year for them as well, he offers, because we don't celebrate it anyway. But is any of the good stuff ever remembered when it's pay/performance review time, or when he applies for another position in the company? Of course not.
