Wow that is one detail and comprehensive interview process. Considering the checks your DH is going through I would say he is in with a good chance. I would definitely not be resigning or mentioning it to his boss until he has the position. If he has to leave when on holidays that is the way it is unfortunately. He can always ring up and make a phone appt and resign over the phone to his boss while on holidays. Best of luck for your DH.

Agree with that! Do nothing until you have the offer in front of you!

They may get thru all of the above with two candidates and then choose... but as it is a a group intake, yeah it does sound pretty promising!! Good luck!

We/he would never resign or mention anything to his boss without it in writing, but he would much prefer to hear officially and do it in person IFYWIM. After all, he is the leading hand in his area..

The selfish side of me doesn't want him to get it cause I will have to go back to work as the training period of 6 months is a quite a wage drop.. But after that I can be a lady of leisure,

But the logical side really wants it cause his current industry is quite unstable, and this is a bit more secure.
