I'm not sure about net business' but have you thought about party plan? You could do it at night. There are heaps of different companies out there... linen, cosmetics, scrapbooking etc.

Hello, I am a stay at home mum of a 3 month old baby boy who needs some extra cash. I have looked at a lot of stuff on web about working from home with not much success. Any offers or ideas of how to get work at home job are more than welcome.
I Also thought that I could start a online shop up or something and sell stuff. But a couple of questions like would i need to get an abn number? and two where, who or how do you get stock to sell? Some advice on how to earn extra money would be greatly appreciated. Btw I live in South Australia.
Thanks in advance.

I do Chef's Toolbox and if you want some more information I could send you some. Or the best way of experiencing Chef's Toolbox is that you host a cooking workshop and you will then be able to use the products and make a decision about joining them after.

I really recommend getting hold of "Show Mummy the Money" it is a good starter book about setting up a business and the different things you need to know. It steps you through the process of working out a business idea is viable or not.
Generally you will need an ABN to business, wholesalers will want you to have an ABN before they sell to you.
Have a look a these parts of the forum, there may be a number of threads there that can answer a lot of questions you may have:
