I do two.. Always have... It was how I was taught. Two spaces makes for a more uniformly spaced document.

See, I was also taught two (but for today I'd like to find out only one space is required for this application I'm doing for work....I have to limit my words to one page and I'm one line over lol - I can't cut the content down any further )...

Two is an older convention, based on typewriters, and the letter sizes. Where letters like M and I took up different space, and the double space after the fullstop allowed for a more even typing presentation, and clear distinction between sentences. It is probably more uptodate, with the new fonts to only do one space. But old habits die hard...

I was taught that as a cadet at the police academy, and the application is for work - I'm feeling like I'm risk taking by only putting in the one space....wow - I live life on the edge these days lol!!!

:yeahthat: The PA to my Director in my old job still does the double spaces, but she had been around for a while
