Include the weather
The rain has moved on
It was windy and heavy
My car is now clean
it's nearly winter
i have to buy some new shoes
before my feet freeze
children running in
bring in the chill autumn air
time to shut the door.
Clothes soaked through with rain
Quickly jump in a warm bath
Hot milk brings a smile
As heedless rain pounds,
the furtive wind heaves branches.
Stay close, my child. Warm.
Haikus don't make sense.
Breathe winter, breathe rain, breathe in.
Haiku. Haiku. Breathe.
Thread necromancy,
An ancient poem archive,
Arises once more.

Grey clouds fill the sky
Branches waving in the wind
Leaves float to the ground
rain rain, go away
come again another day
scratch that, don't come back.
A thread is renewed
Voices from the past whisper
Haiku me. Yes, do.
Old threads bring old friends
Memories of times gone by
Sun peaks through clouds now
Monday you pain me
Relentless in your demands.
To sleep, oh to dream
Occasionally, I post,
Lost to the BB community
Remembering, though, fondly.
