    Exclamation urgent poem help please!

hey guys...I MUST finish masons poem for his christening candle today and I forgot all about it!

This is all I have so far and I need one more verse

    Today is your christening day,
    Our sweet baby boy,
we love you more each day,
you have brought us so much joy

Here is what I have written for his godparents so I need something similar:

Iwant you to know how lucky I feel
to have a godmother like you
someone who will always love me
    no matter what I do

Thank you for always being there
and watching me as I grow
You are certainly very special to me
much more than you'll ever know

    Love Always, Mason

Thank you for being my god father,
And for looking out for me,
I know you'll do such a great job
And be the best that you can be

As I grow up you'll play with me
And we'll have lots of fun
I really am a lucky boy
Because I am your God son.

    Love Always, Mason

We'll be there in all the times,
that you are hurt or sick or sad,
but most of all we look forward
to sharing times that are glad?

is it too, old? so to speak

We couldn't imagine life without you
You are the sweetest, most precious thing.
No other could be as perfect, its true,
and bring as much love and light as you bring.

this is all I have time to come up with LOL. I used to love writing poetry, but am out of practice!

    Goodluck finding something hun

The other verses are all beautiful

    What about this

The hand of god will guide you,
And bless you through the years,
    The amazment of his glory,
    To comfort you in fear.

I believe that baptism is sometimes overlooked for a day and not for what it actually stands for entering the house of god and living a life of christianity iykwim

they are both great! too bad i have already done it

Dani: I understand exactly what you mean. I would love to have incorporated the religious side of his baptism into his poem, but unfortunately his father is not religious at all. Hence the day is not as "special" as it is supposed to be.

    Hope that makes sense
