Pee - Thanks but if you only saw me at my wedding in March you know why I am upset. Should post a piccy on his website. i dont think you can overfeed at this age. Midwife encouraged me to give him 150mls per feed if he wants it and I thought I was over feeding when some day he had 120mls 7 times in a day plus boob but she said he is fine and happy with his progress. Has put on over 1 and a half kgs in 6 weeks. I had my check up too. Basically the same as yours. Blood preasure, felt my belly and gave me all clear. It made DH day.

WOW!! I didnt realise how many of us have been ticked off by real estate agents!!!

Ugh Marcia....Don't they know how hard it is to find time to look after baby or take your word for it that you will do it when you get a chance instead of coming back in a week!! Can't believe the dirt in the Garage thing either christy!! Maybe should have posted this in the punching bag!!

Another thing I should really post there is Why don't huggies infant nappies come in boxes??? Newborn and crawler and every other one does (well I think) except infant which go to a 48 pack. Coles had the boxes on special last week (save $9) and didnt have any left so have a raincheck on 4 boxes so will have to get crawler 6-11 kgs and since Liam is nearly 5kgs no point in getting newborn box and infant 4-8kgs are the only ones that fit. So will get 4 boxes of crawler but doesnt help me out right now cause will still need to buy infant.

Hey Spiddles, I have the opposite problem!!
I could never find the Infant and Crawler size nappies in boxes!! They call it a bulk pack when it is only 44 nappies!
I know the Huggies Newborn ones do come in boxes of 108 nappies for about $38.00. The thing is that Coles and Woolies are usually sold out of them. I used to get mine from Kmart.

Kelly- glad Asha is on the mend, and the naming day sounds like it will be great, love the venue.

Christy- hope your back starts feeling better soon. I too have the middle of the shoulder blades problem, my muscles tighten so much that I feel my breathing is restricted sometimes and I even used to hyperventilate when I felt like that, a sort of panic attack cause I felt I couldn't breathe properly, especially in the car or cramped up.

Carmen- I agree with Christy that you do what works for you and gets you and bubby peace and sleep. We did hold our first to sleep, but the other 3 Jessica included went/go into the bassinette awake and then go to sleep. It is good that way, but if that didn't work then we would hold our kids too so don't worry

Pee- what does your formula tin say about how much for Ryley's age? That is a basic guide. It is up to 120ml for up to 2 months on mine. But you can gauge it by offering a little more or less depending on what your baby wants. They will chuck up what doesn't fit, or stop when they are full.

katayna- well done on Felix's tooth. Don't feel down on yourself, if Felix is happy and if he has been sick then there are valid reasons for him not gaining much weight. My MCH nurse has always worried about too much weight with my first 3, but they got sick at some stage and had stuff to fall back on. 7 kgs sounds fine. Keep doing what feels right to you.

Jessica woke at 1am last night for a feed, then at 4 but I gave her the dummy till 5, and then fed her, she has been a bugger all day, barely slept, I don't think she likes the heat. She drank 125mls water at 5.30 and then had her last bottle at 8pm. I put her straight into bed and haven't heard from her since. I am sure she id exhausted. Hopefully I won't hear her till at least 5am. I AM TIRED!

Carmen, Don't worry too much about whether he sleeps or not, unless he is getting cranky. My sisters all warned me about it being habit forming when Brandon went for two weeks only sleeping in our arms, but he was waking up whenever we put him down. I found he grew out of it, but do keep an eye on it. Maybe if you have somewhere other than the cot to put him in? We also tried warming the spitmat (terrry nappy) that went under his head in front of the heater while I fed him so that when we laid him done it wasn't so cold.

Glad Asha is feeling better Kelly. I went and bought toddler milk this afternoon. It's sunsense brand by ego if anyone is looking.

Grr at real estate agent spiddles. We had one that charged us $200 for cleaning when we moved to melb (while the unit was still under our lease) because he said he rang us to do it again and we never got the message. Took him to the tribunal but only got half back.

Gosh Marcia, we have to mow the lawns every week here. But in the almost two years DP has been living here, they've only inspected once, and that was 3 months after he moved in.

Hooray for Felix's tooth. I wouldn't worry about his weight either Katanya. Brandon is 6 months on sunday, and was only 6.9kg at his last MCHN visit. She didn't seem worried, but said we should start him on solids. As long as you start by 7 months he'll be fine. Its only after that that they start getting developmental problems. And I'm sure Felix would let you know in no uncertain terms if he was feeling starved!

Ah, you guys are my mothers group. Well, off to sterilise bottles now, make and feed the last one (last feed in about an hour) and folding nappies, then off to bed for me.

LOL Susan- Yeah I know we really probably should have mowed the lawns 8-[ . But DH has not been here for the last two weeks so he will get to it when he is home this weekend. It just annoys me because we have always looked after the place really well and they have never had need to complain about anything at our regular inspections and the one time we haven't gotten everything done they are coming back in a week to check up on it! Anyway, enough about that whinge. Does Brandon feed to a regular routine, or do you just demand feed? Only asking as Hudson up until now has generally only wanted 5 bottles/day, and always almost finished them, and all of a sudden is all over the place now wanting a bottle every 2- 3hrs, but won't even get halfway through each one. I was just wondering how you get him to have a routine (if that is what you do?), as Hudson screams his head off when he decides he is hungry.

Michelle - Hope you had a better nights sleep last night.

Well I think I have the noisiest baby in the world lol! Hudson has started to chatter away when he is awake now constantly, but the funniest is when I put him on his play mat, he looks at himself in the mirror, and yells at himself! Very cute. He will yell at himself for a good 5 - 10 mins before he gets bored and moves on to play with his other toys lol. Well at least it is happy noise!

On the weight gain thing, don't feel bad Ambah and Katanya. Realistically we don't really have much control over how much they gain. We just feed them when they ask for it and they go along at their own pace really. Having said that, I also feel bad about Hudsons weight atm because he doesn't seem to be putting on what he should. I think now his reflux is becoming a problem and that is why he hasn't gained that well, and now I feel like a bad mummy because maybe I should have done something about it sooner. The only reason I let it go until now is that it wasn't causing him pain and he was gaining really well despite it. I didn't want to be medicating him unless it was really a problem, as I have a thing about medication. I won't even take panadol unless I am really really in pain lol. Anyway, because of that I think I have let my little boy go too long with this #-o . The dr seemed so dismissive about it at his 8 week check that I didn't give it another thought until I weighed him last week and got a shock at how little he has put on. grrrrrrrr at me for not keeping a better check on it ](*,) .

I have never seen infant OR crawler nappies in boxes... so Icant help you out with the infant ones...

Will write more later... I have been trying to get Aidyn to nap since 8.30am... it is now 11!!!! I have gotten absolutely NOTHING done and am meant to be going out this afternoon... HA! Good luck to me!!

Ihave just been out and bought Asha a shade cover for her pram! We have tee-ball again tomorrow and it is supposed to 27 degrees!!! Lathering on sunscreen, hat, sunshade for her pram and shaded area should be enough I hope!!!

Liam woke at 3 and then 6 today after finally going into a real sleep and not catnaping around 10. Today he has been feeding every 3 hours *shrugs* DH got up to go to work at 6:30 and I finally had him settled and thought stuff this I need more sleep so went back to sleep and DH ended up putting him into bed with me. I kinda remember DH saying goodbye at 8 *lol* At 9 thought I better get up and as soon as I did he started. Was around bathtime so got his bath and everything ready and he had a bath and wasnt impressed. Screamed the whole time. He usually loves it. After another feed had settled down and is now finally asleep at 1 after having another feed at 12:30.

Was good though after his feed around 9:30 he sat in his bouncer for over an hour and a half (longest he has been happy in there for) Happy and kicking and grabbing the toys. Thank gawd for that let me get 2 load of washing done, a shower, breakfast, dishes and take the rubbish out so I cant complain!!

Hope it wont be too hot for you tomorrow Kelly. Everytime I hear the name Asha I think of that song from years ago Brim full of Asha *lol*

hey girls!! I've just managed to catch up! Wow... I've had such a yuck day, I feel like I should go back to bed and hope next week comes because this one isn't doing it for me ](*,)

I woke up & got Matilda & I ready for work, got everything into the car that is on loan because ours is at the smash repairs... then got to work, unloaded everything thinking about how I am not supposed to lift anything, got in and found out the girl who replaced me forgot to call to tell me not to come in :evil: ... so I walked around the corner to my friends house & had coffee which was good & went back to the car loaded it up & went to the smash repairs to pick ours up...loaded it up got in went 50m and smoke was billowing out from under the bonnet.... #-o nothing to do with the smash, but something else... got it to the mechanic and he said "you're not taking this car anywhere... its in big trouble" so as we love our mechanic and have a great relationship with him I promptly burst into tears....lol... then I explained that we are going on holidays in 6 days and are driving down the coast 8 hours, we don't have heaps of $$ and my back is gone & most of our baby stuff is in the car! Well... I caught the train home thank goodness I had to walk a total of 5 minutes... and he is dropping the baby stuff off his way home at 4pm... he also suggested costing hire cars for the holidays, saying that this could take some time and there was no way we'd make it to the city let alone 8 hours....

So sorry about the epic post, but I need to vent I've had it with this week and I want a new one!!! GGGGRrrrr....

urgh Christy your not having a good week are you. Hope you have a better week away on holiday and you get a resonably priced hire car if that is what you decide to do.

HI girls,

Jessica was an angel last night. After a unsettled day, with not much sleep she went down at 8.15 and slept till 7am this morning. Arron woke at about 5 and asked had she had a bottle and said for me to check her. Half asleep I told him to check her, I snored 2 secs after. She is a legend, hopefully she can do it again soon.

Picked up my professiional photos and they are sooo god. I pd the $330 and got 2 poses of Jemma and 3 poses of Jessica. Oh well, when they get bigger at least I have spent money on something to cherish.

hi there - wow so many posts so little time to reply lol
am a bit sad today dh has gone to the cox plate with work in the marquee looking very handsome and as i am still breastfeeding i can't go this year - maybe next year.

forgive me i cannot possible reply individuly to so many posts, a quick one on weight gain and breastfeeding kat - my health nurse told me at lani's 4 wk check up that any gain is great be it big or small, weight or length. my ds was an absolute shocking feeder ended up on the bottle at 12 wks but i was looking at his records the other day and amazingly he had gained so much more than lani did at 4 wks, although lani has grown more. in two weeks she only put on 180gms but grew 5cm - my son used to gain around 250g a week - also apparently you can never over feed a breastfed baby.

lani is doing ok with sleeping still hard to settle but i have decided i will cuddle and rock her to sleep then put her down, i did this with the other 2 until they were 6mths then i got a little tougher and they were the best sleepers ever - so if she wakes after 30mins or so and i can't settle her back i pick her up and cuddle her or we just go out as she loves tto sleep in the pram and my ds loves all the trips to the park lol. she is having her last breastfeed around 7pm then she will wake between 11 and 12 and i feed her then she will go through till around 5ish then in bed with me until i am ready to get up around 7am. sometimes she may wake around 1am but if her eyes are not open i stick the dummy in, this seems to work, i figure if eyes are closed and not open then probably not hungry who knows whatever works heh. i also tend to try and feed her whenever she is awake but generally not less than 2 1/2 hourly, i will feed her one side let her play, then when she is looking tired, offer the other side and she goes quite sleepy - i try not to let her cry to much before a feed, so she does not swallow to much air.

am off to ob on wednesday for 6wk check up, don't get to get lani weighed until 8wks with health nurse - but will be interesting to see ob again especially his thoughts on if i have another baby how quick that labour will be - i will probably have to be in hospital at 8mths just to be sure lol. my dh was adament this was our last but the other day when i mentioned i gave some friends my ds old clothes he said will we get them back i said yes but why it doesn't really matter does it, and he just smiled and said well there is a possibility of a surprise - i am so clucky i really think we will have another always wanted 3 - in theory i have 3 but jessie is well not with us any more, so we will see, although i am 36 next week so will wait and see, i am just going to enjoy lani a bit i think.

anyway i have created a babies on line page to put up some photos, i don't have a digital camera so have to rely on others who take the photos and send them to me - hopefully santa will bring a digital. the photo of me is absolutely horrid - i hate my side profile - lol. i also put up 2 pics of our dear jessica when she was sick with her brain tumour, unfortunately i cannot find any of ds so will have to search and maybe upload them when i find them, anyway if anyone wants a squiz the address is www.babiesonline.com/babies/l/lani

Marcia, I used to feed Brandon a bottle every 2 1/2 hours, and just strung it out to three hours. He has a bottle every three hours from when he gets up at around 10-11. Sometimes he'll sleep through till four hours between feeds, but I try not to let him get past that, even though the MCHN said it was ok, but then he goes to bed too late, or ends up only having four bottles.

Poor Christy. Technically Sunday is the start of the new week, so maybe go to bed early tonight and next week will be better.

Just a question on solids. When you move on from cereal to fruit or veg, do you still feed a meal of cereal? Do you mix the fruit in, or just give it alone? I read he can have 1-2 meals a day, but I have trouble getting in one meal a day with everything else that needs doing. Brandon loves eating real food though. What did everyone else do with starting solids? I did a goggle but all I could come up with was what sort of foods to feed him, and how to give his first few meals, but nothing after that. When I got Baby Love by Robin Barker out of the library before BRandon was born I remember it had a suggested feeding schedule and how many bottles and meals you fed, but I can't remember what it said. Any ideas girls?

Lachlan atm has cereal in the mornings followed by his milk. Then he may have a few teaspoons of custard for lunch. He still has his 4 borttles as well

ok... I've just looked up the food thing in a book I got which is fantastic ( & same info as in Baby Love...) it says with solids that babies would be on average of 5 milk feeds a day & 3 meals at the beginning few months of solids and start with a few teaspoons at a time...

Susan - I give Aidyn about 2 meals of solids a day (sometimes only one, depending what happens) and 5 x180ml bottles.
Atm I am mixing all of his fruit & vegies in with ricecereal & forumla as well, as he doesn't like the concentrated tastes of straight fruit or vegies.

Christy - So sorry to hear about your car. :( I hope this week goes much better for you. How is your back feeling now??

Ok, off to bed for me... have had a killer of a day in this heat... the highest it got up to was 38.8.
Poor Aidyn refused to sleep the WHOLE day, he only passed out eventually at 6pm. Poor little tyke was just lying on his mat on the floor in nothing but a nappy and in front of the fan, he was so listless and cranky, but just wouldn't sleep!! Was very exhausting, and then this arvo I had to go bowling with one of my friends, which was nice in the aircon, but now I am just wiped. I HATE SUMMER!!! (and yet it is still only Spring!! #-o )

Well I just gave him straight banana, and he ate it. Didn't look too impressed with the first bite though. He poked it straight out with his tongue, and I wiped it with a spoon straight back into his mouth. After that he ate like a tablespoon and a half! He seemed to like it ok.

Poor ambah with the heat. Hopefully the new place will be cooler.

I was just wondering if anybody else's bubs sucks on their fingers/hands? I've noticed that lately Jacob is obsessed with putting his fingers in his mouth and makes attemps to get the whole fist in there at times! LOL

yep the heat is pretty bad today... yuck... Matilda is finally getting to wear one of her sundresses though which is pretty cute... DH did a miracle day and looked after Matilda from 7.30am until 6.30pm!! & he got more done around the house than I did all week... but I have my back to blame.

He's a bit depressed now because the house got dirty again in one day... at least he knows how I feel! LOL!

Ok...off I go, back is still pretty bad, but its not so painful to pick Matilda up anymore, good to have a break yesterday!

Yup tootsie...Liam is the same. There is a pick on his website with fist in mouth. Has also been drooling heaps lately too. I hope his isnt teething (he shouldnt bee cause he is only just 6 weeks old)

Went to a party last night. Where the party was the girl has a 6 month old but was at her mums. He was getting a but restless so gavce him a feed at 7 even though only had one at 4:30. Said I could put him in her cot if I wanted to so I did. Sleep there until 12:30. Was parinoid and had to keep checking on him. Has been sleeping in basinette beside our bed but is getting to big for it (legnth wise) Think I might try him in his own cot tonight in his own room. Even though his rooom is across from ours will set up the baby monitor. Save me checking on him every 5 mins.

Don't worry spiddles, Brandon's cot is our room and I still check on him 2-3 times a night.

Tootie, Brandon has been drooling and sucking on his hands since the other kids in here started teething. At first I thought that's what it was, but still no tooth. We bought him a teething ring anyway, which he loves, it's almost as good as a dummy would have been, but he doesn't spit this out, and he can pick it up all by himself. I read in the solids leaflet the MCHN gave us that chewing on fingers can be a sign of wanting to start solids, but that was the first time I'd heard that.

This is it for us. Started posting in 6-12months forum this morning, but I guess since there is an average of 1-2 posts a week in there I'll be checking (and posting) in here until more of you move over.

Tootie - From memory Aidyn started chewing and sucking in his fist & fingers at around 8 weeks. Now its not so much his hands, but anything that he can get his hand onto!!

Just over this weekend Aidyn has become so mobile!! He will now roll from one end of the living room to the other. He has also started pulling his legs up under him and lifting his bum so he can get a bit of a push off. I am way too scared to leave him alone anywhere for even a few seconds now, cause next thing I know he will be down the end of the street!!! LOL

We went to the Indooroopilly shopping centre today, purely for the A/C! It was good though cause Aidyn had a couple of little naps in his pram (which wouldnt have happened at home due to the heat!) and he had fun rolling around the floor in the library, and even stopped for a minute to let me read him a couple of stories.

DP was firmly against it when I was PG, didn't want to cage him up, but now that he is rolling, and looking like he'll be crawling before xmas, it doesn't seem so bad lol.

I don't think there are any hard and fast rules about feeding solids. The only thing to watch is that the baby doesn't start refusing bottles because they have had too much food. It really is more introducing foods, and different tastes than filling them up.

I think that babies suck on things cause they like the feel of different textures etc in their mouths, not necessarily anything to do with teeth. Jessica is already starting to suck hers and she is 7 weeks old. SO saying Jemma sucked things too and her first tooth came at 4 months, I couldn't believe it as the other 2 had no teeth till 6 months.

Well we had 2 nights of sleep and then last night Jesssica woke at 1am, 5am and then got up at 8am. Not fair! But I have a good feeling she will sleep ok tonight. SHe didn't really sleep much between 5 and 8.30pm, where as the night before she had 2 hours sound sleep before her last bottle, which I had to wake her for.

It's been a big weekend, I think I need to visit the punching bag, In law dramas as usual. They drive my crazy at times.

Jessica is such a happy girl, she wakes up laughing in the morning and is starting to coo and laugh at everyone. Today Josh had her chatting away, it was so cute.

We finished the paving out the back, which had to be done before our party as otherwise a little bit of rain and it was a mudbowl. It looks terrific, not that I actually did anything, Arron, his Dad and his cousins husband spent all day Sat doing it. Arron got this 6 or 7 metre palm tree from his brothers today and transported it an hour and a half to our place (his brother is moving and so we hit the jackpot, it is worth about $1000). Arron planted it this arvo and it is very nice, however as I was in a mood, because I have basically spent all weekend trapped looking after kids, I told Arron I don't even like it. Mean aren't I!

But the plan is complete for next weekend. I am going clothes shopping, without kids, with a girlfriend to find something to wear at our party on Sat, and on Sunday I have a Creative memories party at 12.30 so Arron is going to be the childminder. Let's see how that goes!

Anyway, I think I'll go to punching bag.

Hello everyone!!
Tootie I sometimes laugh how similar our boys are! Ryley loves to suck on his hand. Mainly he keeps his favourite little fist and then sucks on it. Ithink he is trying to tell me he is hungry when he does that!!
We had our 6 weeks checkup- all is well. Apparently Ryley is more developed than his age and is great with everything else so -YAY for my baby boy!
He has started sleeping from around 11-5 now and I am stoked. Last night he woke up at 3 and i rolled over and said to him- it is too early and he went back to sleep for 1/2 hour! hehehe- what a good boy!

I am going to keep trying the cot!! lol I dont want him to be out of our room!! He is cooing and talking so much- I am totally in love!!
I think I will prob get him a play pen coz Mums still need to get stuff done around the house and I know he'll be happy in there anyway! At the moment after a grizzle i left him in the bouncer strapped in coz i knew he was just tired and he fell asleep! He will fall asleep anywhere that boy!

I get to play netball in 5 more weeks! woo hoo!

Good to hear your house is ready Michelle. I had a look at Jessica's site and her and Jemma are adorable!!!

We dont have too many probs with the heat but i am sure i will be going to the shops like you Ambah when it gets like that coz our a/c doesnt have temp gauge it gets too cold sometimes.

Hi Girls!!

Matilda's been chewing on her hands for a few months now & no teeth...I was told a few weeks ago that she was teething & she cut one tooth & then its dissappeared again :-k ... so I dunno....LOL

Matilda's refused to eat today... shes on some kind of hunger strike but I can't figure out what for... she woke up in the middle of the night but refused the bottle :-s and has had maybe 200ml total today so far & that is her usual size bottle for one feed.... its been hot & we've been out at work & mechanics, so I fed her a bigger than normal serving of rice cereal & apple puree I made before & she gobbled it all and then drunk 50mls.... so I'm not worried about her but its strange she ate solids but is refusing the formula... for one of her feeds I even made up three different bottles thinking the dilution must be off or the temp is wrong ](*,) but no... just didn't want it... go figure....

On the play pen note, Matilda loves hers... I vowed never to use it but as soon as she was rolling I put it up and now we both love it! She spends 15-20 minutes in there rolling around &picking up toys, playing and then I can do stuff around the house like dishes & bottles etc etc...but sometimes she gets stuck with arms & legs stuck outside it, but thats okay... just move her over & off she goes again... started lunging forward today, getting her knees under her belly & catapulting herself... it hurts when her head smacks the floor but she cries & then does it again... I don't know how to stop that one, so I put her in her pram & strapped her down...LOL

Liam slept in his cot last nite YAY!! Slept there from 4 to 6:30 yesterday and I thought I better wake him up or no sleep. He was so grumpy and I put him back in at 8:30 slept till 1 and then awake at 4 and then back to sleep til 8.

DH noticed this morning I didnt have bags under my eyes. First time in ages. I guess out of sight out of mind so slept better.

Am going to visit the in laws this week up the coast. Will be fun and they have a poo!!! DH will pock me up on the weekend. Liam will be spoilt rotten.

LOL @ Ryley being similar to Jacob, Pee! I got some photos developed yesterday and in one of them Jacob is trying really hard to put his entire hand in his mouth....it looks hilarious!

Re playpens...we've got one of those too...in fact we only just got it. I feel much better about having it considering we have pets and therefore need to ensure that the house is both baby and pet friendly!

Where did you all get your playpens from??(I know where you got yours Christy :)) When you say playpens, you don't mean portacots do you?

Christy - Aidyn has had a few days like that where he has been off his bottles... one of my theories is that it is too hot and the last thing he wants is a warm bottle.
Have discovered this weekend that he loves cold water, so we are now keeping his water bottle in the fridge. I think he also likes the feel it on his sore gums.

Liam has been drinking all day. Already had 6th 120ml bottle and has had about 40mls of water inbetween. I keep expressed milk in fridge and just quickly run it under hot water so is probably still cool. Can you give them cool milk???

I cant see what the problem isith cool exprssed breast milk ... especially when iut is hot just so long as it is not cold from the fridge.

Yeah I have a microwave but doesnt it loose its nutrience when heated up like that?? Have a pirex jug and usally pour hotwater over the bottle in the jug and let it sit there. I know the one this afternoon was semi cold cause he was hungry and tried breastfeeding for 30 mins and was still unsettled and hungry and I just wanted some peace and gave it to him. He seems fine (well at the moment anyways)

I've heard room temp is all good.... and that microwaving breast milk does cause it to loose some of its nutrients, so it is best to warm it up in a jug of hot water...

I din't know that about breast milk, considering I've never breastfed that's not really surprising though.

We had a playpen for Jordan and we loved it. haven't had one since though, I din't want to pay the money for a new one and couldn't find a used one so we don't have one now.

Not much happening here, things are just cruising along. had a call tonight though with some sad news, a girl I know found out her 20mth old has a cancerous tumor pressing on her spine. It hits home as her and Jemma are only 2 weeks apart and the poor family just keep having bad luck. The BIL of this girl (who was a friend of ours) was killed in a car accident 3 yrs ago, the partner was in rehab for awhile before he met this girl, her cousin has been diagonsed with bone cancer, after having breast cancer and having the breast removed and it is terminal (she has 2 kids under 8). Some people just get the raw end of the deal. The whole family is devastated. I just don't know how we'd cope in that situation. it is their only child.

My back is playing up, I think it's because of my posture when I am on the computer. I need a really good massage. I also have my first AF since having Jessica. I am back on the pill until Arron has his vasectomy adn I skipped the first period as I had only just finished bleeding and wanted a break, but I am planning ahead and so took the sugar tablets, because Arron's birthday and our party are coming up. So this week is the best week to have it. It's sort of good to be able to choose when it comes though. Wish I din't have to have it at all though, I think that's why I love pregnancy (not the only reason but a big part of it).

ANyway gonna go and say congrats to Bon.

Yeah sorry for the microwave comment there, for some reason I was thinking formula. I used to boil a jug of water and let it sit in there for a few mins with b/milk

HI Everyone,

Back from holidays and thought I would put in a quick post. No way I can reply to you all, as I have missed out on so much!

The holiday was great, but it rained nearly every day. Still, we got to go to the beach a couple of times which was really fun. My toddler adored going and Cohen was pretty happy while in the shade tent but hated the water! Still the water was pretty cold so I can understand why he wasn't too happy! He looked adorable in his little sun outfit though!

He settled really well while we were away and because it rained a lot, he slept in most mornings (so did my toddler - yay!). He only got up once each night for a feed so I was pretty relaxed.

He did really well in the car too so all in all a very successful holiday!

Apart from that, nothing much new is happening here. Hope you are all doing well and that your bubs are good.

oh Yvette thats great that you had a good holiday!! I'm hoping for the same, going to Crescent Head on Friday for a long weekend! So I'm trying to pack like mad figuring out what to bring for a 4 month old! And one thing we aren't bringing is the pram.... so I'm a bit scared of that as well!!

We are meeting some of our close friends from Sydney there and we rented a 4 bedroom house for us & the kids! So we have to bring linen etc so that makes even more to think about... I can't wait to get to the beach though!!
