YAY!!!!! Welcome back Katanya!!!!! :D I have missed you!!!
Thanks guys ;)
It's great to be back!
awww poor Hudson !!! I hope he is good for you tomorrow Marcia. I will have to get the photos that Andrew too up very soon.
Katanya. I was just thinking of you the other day wondering where you had gone too. Great to have you back !!
Love :hbeat:
I'm glad to see you back Katanya!!!
Hi all,
well my bday is almost over. I got money $150 in vouchers, perfume , a necklace and some summies, and some tats tickets. Mum and Dad haven't got me anything as my had an operation and hasn't been able to get out, so My bday will be extended. It will also be extended in Nov when we have our joint 30th party.
As for what sort of day it was. Well I mowed and washed clothes and Arron hired a Dingo to dig out the dirt for our paving (he had a ball). We had my aunty, cousin and SIL drop in, then Mum, Dad, my brother and my IL's came over around teatime. 30 is a sort of milestone I guess, and it had been playing on my mind all day that I alwaystake photos and are never in them. I think that I have only been in a couple of photos with Jessica, won't know for sure till I get them developed (tomorrow I'm putting them in). I wasn't in many photos with Jordan, and when she wanted one of her and I for Kinder( a fe years ago), the only one I could find, other thasn newborn was on her 2nd bday. I don't really like what I look like in photos but I worry that when I'm not around then my kids won't have any pics of me to remember me (tears well up in eyes). I think I think too much sometimes. Anyway this is going somewhere- I just had a fight with Arron cause he didn't take any photos at all of me and the kids all day or even take a photo when we had cake. I know he just didn't think but that is the annoying part. last year on his bday I took pics when the kids got pressies and at the cake time. I also took photos fathers day this year, the day I got home from hospital. He has said he will take more photos from now on, but I am sad cause opportunities are lost (wipes eyes) I know I should just get over it but sometimes I'm like a dog with a bone. Phew! Glad that's over!
Kelly I have done the same thing and I felt bad too, but it wasn't intentional so don't beat yourself up. I would just use a toddler sunscreen too rather than none if you are going to be out.
yay for some time alone/together Ambah! Sometimes its good to get out and be a grown up for awhile. Glad you had a great time.
Spiddles the wedding sounds like it went well and well done to Liam for being good, bet you were tired the next day though!
Hi everyone else, sorry after the epic post i have lost track of everyones bits and pieces. I think I need some sleep. So I will catch up soon with anyone I missed.
Cheers Michelle
Hey Christy
I just noticed you joined BB 1 yr and 1 day ago. Well done!
Michelle
WOW!!! Thanks!! I didn't even notice that!! I knew it was sometime around now as I had just found out I was PG!!
Hey Christy, did you make the 2000 before or after the year was up?
Sorry Kelly missed you before. Poor Asha, but I wouldn't have thought she'd get sunburnt so quickly either! I don't even have a shade cloth for the pram (although brandon is usually in long sleeves) and only put the bunny rug up when the sun is in his eyes. But I try and take him outside for at least 5 mins of sun every time it is nice outside, so his skin gets used to the sun and the extra vitamin D is good, so maybe he just doesn't burn as easy. I'll be buying toddler milk on payday though. Hope he takes after DP who just goes brown and needs a full day in the sun unprotected to burn. Not that I'm going to take the chance though.
Katayna, preggo buddy! Glad to see you back! Is felix talking yet? Rolling? Clonking himself on the head with his rattles? (Brandonseems to have rediscovered this habit lately and thinks its a ball, till it hits, then he gets aggro and does it harder - I think he's trying to beat it up with his head? Gotta watch out for his headbutts, they're quite painful.
Glad to hear you had a good bday haul michelle.
We still have to use my BB movie tickets, as they expire this month. I'm a bit weird about leaving Brandon babysat too. BIL said he would, so we just have to pick a movie and find a time that suits. Kinda wish we could just go when B is a asleep and take him with us and somehow magickally ensure he stayed that way the whole movie lol
Any suggestions what is good on this month? I want to see team america, but doubt it will be out in time.
Glad the wedding went well and laim was good. Grr at the hike upstairs though. Seems like a lot of hassle for all the guests to walk though, not just you. Some people get a little carried away with weddings I guess.
Hi Kathryn, Christy and Susan..it's great to be back!
Susan: Felix is talking HEAPS! this week is the Ba-ba-ba week.. knocks himself with rattles, can backwards bum push, sit up propped and when he's distracted for a few secs, throws toys on the floor for a game, bites my nipples and the squeals in laughter (I am trying to get him out of this habit as his teeth looking like the will burst through any day) he's pretty much on track developmentally not ahead not behind but just right!
With the movie tickets, does you Cinema offer a "babes in arms" session, it is great, my mothers group goes, everyone has babies or young children (or those mad folk who dare to join in sans children) Try ringing the cinema to see what is offered. I was worried it would be hard with everyone else's children, but it's no worse than russling wrappers. If they do the full-on crying thing you leave for a few mins, but Felix slept, ate and watched the movie..the only noise he made was babbling to the screen..we took him to a "normal session" at 7 weeks and he just slept right through it..no such luck now though!
Hi Katanya - Just thought I would give you a quick update on Aidyn to help catch you up, LOL!
He is now 73cm long and weighs 9kg (top 90th percentile for both) DP and I are beginning to call him our Gentle Giant, lmao!. He started rolling over at 4 months. And he cut his first tooth through last week!!(and boy is it sharp - so look out Katanya!! ;)) He also started sucking on his toes last week, lol. He has been on solids since 4 months and is loving it.
How sweet at Felix talking like that!!! Aidyn is actually quieter now than when he was younger, but he laughs a lot more.
Sounds like you got a few nice things for your Birthday Michelle, but a pity that you had to do those chores!!
I know what you mean about the photos... I am only in a few since Aidyn has been born, as I am usually the one behind the camera! And you're not alone either, I'm pretty sentimental and things like that can upset me greatly too...
Such a beautiful morning today... raining outside... I soooooo did not want to get out of bed!! And neither did DP who is now going to be very late for work, LOL!
ambah: Holey dooley!!! 73 cms and 9kgs!!!!!!!!!!!! That is amazing....Felix was only just over 7kgs at 4mths and I don't think he's put on that much since(apparently it is usual for breastfed babies to plateau at 4-5 mths) he is about 67cms tall and looks tall and lean (not skinny but not chubby), I'll put a link to some photos when I get myself organised. He has gone back to his birth weight proportions.
LOL at the feet thing yeah Felix does that too it's too cute! grabbing ankles and trying to stuff them into his mouth! We are still just feeding breastmilk purely, although he's starting to show the signs of being close to ready, but I will be waiting till 6mths at least.
The teeth can definitely wait!
IKWYM about photos there are so few with me in the photo, I had some pixie photos taken with both of us and the ones of me are terrible, I didn't get them..I just look fat and frumpy! Much cuter to take photos of Felix and Lachie, but it would be nice to be able to look back and see me in the photos with Fleix..
Wow !!!! you have a big boy their Ambah. I haven't weighed Lachlan in a little while but he was still around 7.4kg when I did weigh him
Love :hbeat:
Woh!
My shoulders are glad they aren't yours ambah! How do you cope? I have a slight back inflamation as it is, and Brandon is only 6.9kgs and 63.5cms long. He's at the 30th percentile for his weight, and lenght and head are at 10.
We've only taken three or four photos of Brandon since we left the hospital, and all of them were of him only. I'm a little upset we didn't get one of him just newly born that isn't wrapped up, because you can't see how tiny he is. I keep saying we should take more photos, but I don't do anything about it.
Brandon plays with his toes on the change table. I take his feet out of his suit, and then he waits till the nappy is off and then grabs his toes so I can slid the new nappy under. He's so good with dressing himself. When I put a new suit on, I just put his hands into the armholes and move on to his feet, and by the time the suit is done up his hands are out of the hand holes. My clever little man
That is so cute susan about Brandon starting to dress himself!
We have taken heaps of photos of Hudson since he was born, however our mistake is that we take about 3 or 4 photos of the same thing all the time lol. Then we don't know what to do with them later because we only really want one of each in his album lol. Oh well. Rellies can have them I guess. DH also doesn't take many photos of me with Hudson and I must admit I get a bit cranky about it. We just got two films developed and I had asked DH a few times to take pics of me with Hudson on them. Anyway, when I got the photos back I discovered that when he was taking pics of me holding Hudson he was just taking a pic of Hudson and my arms!! Grrrrr. And any that have me in them properly (about 2) have my head cut in half! I take pics of him and Hudson all the time doing things together like baths and sleeping and playing. I think it is special to be able to look back at that, but obviously DH doesn't even think about it, even when I specifically ask him to! I think I will have to spell it out to him in great detail and maybe he will understand then lol.
LOL at DH...unfortunately mine will take heaps of shots of me holding Matilda, usually after an awful day where I look like I've been hit by a train, LMAO!!
Our little ones are so cute!! Whenever I hear all the stories about what they are doing I get all fuzzy... :)
katanya - sounds like Felix & Matilda are around the same size... she's 67cm & 7kg...
well...loving the rain, and going to go get out of these work clothes and into some PJ's!!! LMAO!! Can't waste the rainy day!! Get into PJ's pop some popcorn & put a scary movie on!! Sleepy Hollow here we come!!! (Matilda's asleep atm, but when she wakes I'll turn it down low & won't let her watch..)
I know... he's huge for his age, everyone that sees him says so! And though he is chubby, he is just also very long and solidly built. Most strangers that see him think he's around 8 months, LOL!
I have queried the nurse about his weight as well, but she says not to worry unless it goes out of the lines on the chart, LOL! And because his length is up there with his weight it makes it acceptable. I think it may be a bit hereditary as well... cause Jackson was a massive baby too. As long as I dont feed him stuff like baby custards, make sure he gets more vegies than fruit (to avoid too much sugar) he should be ok.
I have to admit though sometimes I get really worried that other people think he is too big, and I am overfeeding him or something...even though I don't know how to, cause if he's not hungry, he just doesn't eat!
Soemtimes I wish he were a bit smaller, just so I can cherish him being a baby for a bit longer, but he is just growing so fast!
That is very smart of Brandon to be helping you dress him, Susan!! Aidyn lifts his legs to help me out, but hasn't done the arm thing yet!
Ohhh....my DH is a slacker on the photo front too! I've taken heaps of pictures of him with Jacob, but the ones of Jacob and I are few and far between!!
I am sooooo not impressed with Aidyn right now... cheeky little Bugga!!
I just got him settled and to sleep for his nap... and he bloody woke up five minutes later! I tried to leave him there on the bed but I keep catching him trying to sit up so he can see me at the desk... and then he starts laughing and cooing every time I tell him to go back to sleep!!! So he is happy in my lap right now, what a sweet, cheeky boy, LOL!
LOL, Brandon likes to sit at the computer too.
I guess you dont really realise how many places are unwheelchair and baby friendly until you have a baby.
Has been raining here ever since saturday nite YAY!! Liam hadnt had a proper bath since saturday so I gave him one. Loved it in there but when I took him out and wraped him in his towel started to shiver and scream. Poor little guy. Once dressed was fine.
Dont know how much Liam weighs until thursday as has checkup. Hasnt been weighed in weeks but he seems heavier.
WOW at 8kgs Ambah. DH cat weighs that!! All I could think of when we bought Liam home that Casper and my bowling ball weighs more than him *lol*
Don't talk to me about photos. I have the fat and frumpy syndrome too!!
Arrrggghhh! Why won't my baby sleep!!!?? Sorry, I know none of you can answer that. He is driving me crazy today. He is getting tired and whingy and crying, but once I get him to sleep it only lasts about 10 minutes before he wakes up screaming again. I try to resettle about 4 or 5 times which doesn't seem to work and when I get him up he is all happy and playful again for a short while and then the crying starts again and we are back to square one. Just when I thought he was getting better at day sleeps we have gone back to battling it out every day for the last week. I can't wait for this week to be over and DH to be home again because I really think my tolerance level is not as high when I know he won't be home at the end of the day to give me a bit of a break when nothing I do seems to be working. Have got bugga all done today now.
IKWYM about the fat and frumpy syndrome. I feel that way too atm. I have this theory about the free photo that all the photo places offer with your baby's sitting. They convince you to make the free piccie one that has both you and your bub in it, knowing full well that we all feel fat and frumpy after having a baby, and then when you go to pick the photos up you end up buying a heap cos you hate the free one, and you can't have the ones you like without buying them all lol. That's what happened to me anyway, and it sounds like it might have happened to a lot more than just me lol! Grrrrrr at those tricky photo people.
Hi Everyone,
I haven't posted for ages as its so hard to keep up. But I do enjoy reading what is happening to everyone's little one!
Bailey was weighed today. He is 7.2kg and 63cm long. He has to have his 4 month shots on Thursday and I'm not looking forward to it at all. Now that he is a little more aware of things; I think it will hurt him more! #-o
Melbourne just held their Mother's Child and Baby Expo here last weekend. 7 ladies from my mother's group went and we had a ball. Even all our feed times coincided. And some were breast feeding while others were bottle feeding. I took some money to buy a port-a-cot and a toddler seat for the pram and I think I bought everything else but them. Still we had a great time. I also bought a special wrap blanket as I still have to wrap Bailey so he will go to sleep. Its called the Miracle Blanket and I think that's what it was for me. Bailey would always wake after 45 minutes nap during the day, but for the last 3 days he hasn't and I have had to wake him up for his feeds!!!! The first night I tried it; he slept from 9pm - 9am. I was very lost in the morning as I didn't know what to do?!?!?! It was quite expensive, but I think worth every cent. There were heaps of other goodies there too. I think I could have spent another day there.
I need to get a photo of Bailey, myself and DH very soon. He's 4 months and I don't have any family shots. Thinking of getting a good one done and giving them away for Christmas presents.
Well hope eveyone has a good night
Vicki
Thats so great Vicki about the miracle wrap!!! Well done!!
Marcia: I was tempted to ask for the free photo of me and Felix at Pixie Photo but thankfully I didn't. as it was not an image I want in larger format..much nicer having a big pic of Felix..does ANYONE get their favourite photo for free at that place? I bought 1 other as much as she tried to talk me into more, I wasn't that impressed to tell you truth..
Vicki: that Miracle wrap sounds great..well worth the money, I went to the Mother and Baby expo went it was here in Queensland and it is so cool you get so much free stuff! We'll worth a visit! Is Bailey the latest Bailey on the beautiful babes section of the main Belly Belly site? If so he is Beautiful! A little stunner!
I tried Felix at the computer with me today...all he want to do is bang at the keys..very cute but not easy to type and all the menus popped up!..so looks like he will be restricting my usage of the net from now on!
I forgot to post this thread on here, it is the latest photos of Felix, there are millions (about 80 to be exact) due to me not having a computer to upload them to..so have a peek if you are interested.
Poor Felix is going through another unfortunate hair phase, it only grows in the centre of his head, everyone comments on his "mohawk" we end up gelling it up to make it look a little better..! Oh well hopefully the other sides will grow soon!

Hi girls,
I just cant keep up with personals :-k I'll give it a try.
Katanya, your little Felix is so cute. They grow up so quickly. Are you still b/f?
Is anyone else b/f?
We have not done our free photo yet. We did ds close to 6 months and we did it at portrate place. I often look at the pixi places and think that it doesn't look ver personal and I would feel a bit rushed. P/p seem to take their time and I feel more relaxed and private as it is not out in the open.
Vicki, what is the miricale wrap made of and what makes the baby sleep so peacefully/ Sounds great.
Marcia, Hope you get some sleep soon and Hudson settles back into a routine for the day soon.
We have not had any rain in Wodonga Vic for some time now.:(
Ambah, you have a cheeky boy there. As for the weight, I would not worry as once they get moving, ie. walking, they loose it soon enough.
Tootie, How is Jacob now after his shots? Amelia has hers on the 1/11/04. So not looking forward to it. Especially since she does not have a dummy and ds did. Not sure what to do to settle her .
Susan, you have a very smart baby there. I am sure Brandon will be tying his own laces soom.:)
Christy, Love the thought of pj, movie and sweets. Just bring on the rain.
Sorry to all you others I have missed. There are just too many people in here now, I can't keep up.
ps. Michelle congrats on Jemma with the toileting.
Gotta go, dd needs feeding.
IKWYM about keeping up with personals rose, thats why I love reading how everyone's little ones are going but I often don't always comment on everything...
rose- Matilda did well after her shots she got at 2 months and she didn't use a dummy then...
we didn't quite make the movie... I know it was far fetched idea, but we never actually got there...lol.... I did get Matilda's PJ's on :) one step at a time!
Katanya - Felix is a real cutie-pie!!! :)
Vicsta - that miracle blanket sounds great!! I will have to get one for my next baby (if it ever happens, lol!) I had the same result with Aidyn using one of those Grobag sleeping bags (when he was over 6 weeks) as he couldn't unwrap himself, it is excellent!
I am looking forward to the next Mother & Baby Expo! I think I missed this years... :(
Marcia - that must be very hard for you having DH away for some weeks. I think you are doing really well, I don't know how I would manage on my own, with the thought that DP wasn't coming home!! Hang in there, and I hope Hudson and you have a better day tomorrow.
LOL at the 'fat & frumpy' syndrome! I have that for sure! I got my professional shots of Aidyn done at a studio, and they suggested I pose with him, but I was like NO WAY!! I think I will wait a few more months until his 1year photos, and hopefully will have shed some kilos by then.
The rain has been just lovely today... a really refreshing change, but I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow (overcast would be nice though) as I have to get to the shops!! (public transport!)
Rose: yep still breastfeeding purely and intend to for as long as Felix wants it (don't get me started on the benefits of extended breastfeeding!) won't be starting solids till at LEAST after 6 mths
Felix seems so grown up already..it's just unbelievable!
I KWYM about the personal comments, sometimes it is just easier to let the person you are refering to know, but I always read everyone's comments, just somethings I can relate to I guess.
oh yeah!! I forgot to say what a gorgeous big boy Felix is!!! I love his hair do!!
I see everyone has been typing madly again. And I did check yesterday.
Cant talk long, Hi Katanya, and great to hear your Felix is doing so well.
Hi Rose- things seem on track for you too, which is great. Jemma is doing the frustrating toilet traingin! ie asks for the toilet and plays with the paper, goes in 3 times and as soon as the nappy goes on she does poo. It' s a little hard as I have so much to do, I am tryihg to convince her to use the potty instead but she is a very persistent child and wont stop saying "toi, toi" until I take her to the toilet. How is Jonathon going?
I have to go and spend some time with Arron, he is sitting alone in the lounge, probably asleep!
We did an epic shop as we had no food and it cost $500. We do have food now and won't be going back for about 6 weeks so that's not bad really. Everything is full.
Sorry if I didn't reply to everyone
Goodnight and thanks for the bday wishes.
Michelle
Hi all,
I'm not going to begin to try and get to everyone - there really is alot of people in here - I haven't had time to get on and when I did I couldn't believe there was about nine pages of posts to read - needless to say I skip them to the latest.
Shynelle has just had her four needles and what a scream she let out it nearly made me cry #-o I did the dummy thing and she was fine - so now i'll just monitor her cause after the 2mth and prevenar injections she had a temp and was unsettled for nearly the week! The GP said it wasn't the needles but it happened both times so i'm not convinced :-k
Michelle I hope Jemma realises soon how much nicer it would be for her to not have to sit in her mess and use the toi toi all the time! :D
Pee - I checked out your photo's Riley is sooooo cute!!!
Hope everyone is having a good day! O:)
Awwww. Katanya, Felix is so cute! And I think the hair is cute too. He looks funky and different from all the other babies. He's just going to be a trend setter lol.
Well, no sleeping through for me last night lol. I thought surely Hudson would as he barely slept all day, but we still did a feed at 12am, 5.30am, 7.30am and then up! Oh well, I am now thinking that the only reason he was sleeping so well before was because he was sick lol. =D> for my little man too! Yesterday I put him on his tummy for a bit and suddenly he can hold himself up really well! I will be able to give him more tummy time now as he always hated it before because he had his face in the blanket. And even bigger =D> because he has also started rolling from his tummy to his back! He did it about 5 times yesterday. Only problem with that is that when I am trying to give him tummy time he is just going to keep rolling. s'pose I'll just have to keep putting him back lol.
Mummy's very happy today. He slept from 9 last night until 3 this morning. I think thats the longest he has ever slept for. Usually sleeps for about 4 hours. Woke again at 6:30 and went back to sleep at 10 and is sltill sleeping. Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come!!
Well done for rolling, Hudson!! =D>
DD - I can't believe your GP said it wasn't from the needles! Surely its a bit too much a of a coincidence! Aidyn got a fever after his 2 & 4 month injections as well.
LOL Michelle! And epic shop is something we need to do here too... we havent been properly gorcery shopping in 6 weeks! Its always just me sending DP out to pick some things up. I also have heaps of things I need to pick up for the new house too, as we can't leave BIL with nothing! (though I would like to, LOL!)
Marcia, I hear that. I had to go and roll Brandon back over every three minutes the other day, and I was trying to have a MSN convo with my nephew in Adelaide, who kept laughing at me having to leave all the time.
The worst thing is, he does it in the cot now too, so as soon as he wakes up, someone has to get him up and in our bed, which is getting earlier and earlier with the sun coming up these days. I knew there was something good about winter lol!
I wouldn't mind the rolling all the time, but he seems to forgotten the fact that he can roll back the way he came, so he gets to his tummy, enjoys for a little, then gets sick of it, and cries for mummy to come roll him back, only to do it again 2 minutes later! Which is really annoying in the cot at 6am. Especially as then he is pressed up against the mesh sides.
Felix is soo cute. With those great big eyes! Appropriate middle name there, just don't go letting him near grandmas or girls in red capes lol!
Those wraps things sound great. We didn't have a problem till Brandon was almost outgrown his pram anyway, and now we don't wrap him, just put the bunny rug over him in the cot, but he always kicks it off. And then he has such cold feet in the morning.
He's doing the most gorgeous squealing in the lounge room now. I gave him a teddy bear I made in primary school I found yesterday going through the boxes in the shed and he adores it. It's just two teddy shaped bits of material stuffed with dacron and a face embroidered on in thick wool. Goes to show sometimes the simple toys are best. And if a 12yo can do it, even the most sewing inept person could do it.
As for Fat and frumpy syndrome, well I feel it, but I spent so long being about this size, I'm kinda used to it, and know how to hide it. I was this size until I met my xh, and they I lost 2-3 sizes in the 6 months or so before the wedding. I wouldn't mind being a 12 instead of an 18 again though!
Vicki, Brandon is 6 months on Sunday (oh no, I'll have to leave you all. Here I come Kathryn! lol) and we don't have any family photos either. I haven't even got any pixie photos done.
Poor Shynelle. Hope that she doesn't react to these needles.
Got to go, as I really should be getting things ready for Brandon to go out for the day while we get the car RWC. Yay for enforced window shopping, it's something I get to do so rarely now. (well, at least not without feeling guilty lol!)
Yay @ about to have some company !!! Much quieter in there for now LOL
Love :hbeat:
Thanks everyone for your comments on Felix, it is lucky he is such a bouyant boy as he might get a complex as we tease him about his hair..it is kinda cute..thing is he'll probably be shaving it like that when he's a teenager! Susan LOL at keeping hime away from girls in red capes..it was my Austrian Father's middle name as in Wolfgang. my father was Peter Wolf, which is funny initself. I always thought it was such a cool name.
DP Lachie calls him "Cat Dog" he'll never have a chance to be sensitive about being teased about it with us for parents!
Go Hudson go..we have a similar story with tummy time Felix hated it for ages but now will push himself up and play with toys for ages. Although he has turned himself over he cries when he has had enough. He will turn on his side and move himself around with his feet.
DD that is terrible about the injections, don't worry I DID cry when Felix screamed at his..but I was much better at his 4 mth old ones..it is so hard letting someone stick something like that into them!
About being fat and frumpy, I am okay with it and DP is still attracted to me, but I look at photos and think..UGGG..and I hate not being able to chose the fun bright clothes I use to wear! I bough a jogger pram and I'm working on it! I am aiming for Felix's first birthday as I don't want to lose too much weight too soon.
I know how you feel Katanya...I got married and was 14 weeks pregnant and was size 8-10 now am size 14-16. There are some pics of me on Liam's website (GRRRRRR!! for the inlaws sake who view it) BTW Felix is such a cutie!!!
Liam is being such an angel today. I was so glad about the 6 hour sleep last nite but he woke at 1 today after going to sleep at 10. Gave him a bath and had his bottle. Is trying to hold it himself but hands are too tiny for avent bottle. Has one hand open and other as fist. I let it go for a few minutes and it stayed there and is now back to sleep. I can see it now...devil child tonite!!! I am usually flat out getting him to sleep during day. I guess I should catch up on house work.
LOL... don't you love those days spiddles and you wander around the house deciding what to do next, and you rush around because they usually wake up by then...lol!
I hear you all on the rolling business!! You know how I never could get Matilda to sleep anywhere but her belly?? And then when we went to Riverton which is one of those early child centres we worked on getting her to sleep on her back & she decided she would just start rolling at 11 weeks #-o and she would roll up & down the cot. We used to have the cot at an angle because of the reflux but with all her rolling I would wake up & she would be up-side-down ](*,) ](*,) so now we keep it flat.... She moves around all the time, she goes from one end of the cot to the other & then I find her with her arms & legs hanging out of different slats in the cot...ugh. If we put her on our bed now she would roll off.... Luckily we realised that before she did it!! Ambah's seen her at work, she's amazing... today Matilda decided she didn't want to be in the pram anymore and pulled her head up & tried to roll out of the pram!!! Thank goodness I remembered to strap her in for once!!!
We actually try to keep her in her rocker most of the time to stop the activity...
Ok... we had a full on day, I drove DH to work & kept the car & we've been to the big shopping centre near here & had too much stimulation, both of us!! So Matilda's having a sleep & I sat down with a coffee & some biscuits and no tv or radio or computer on for 30 minutes... ahhhh...
Ok... enough epic writing for me!! I hope you are all having a good day!
