Hi everyone

Iris- Grrrrr at the lady smashing your car! How annoying that it's going to take 5 days to fix. About feeding solids, I think the only reason they say to start with rice cereal is that it is very smooth and bland and easily digested, so it's a good food to begin with. If you want to try fruits/vegetables I don't know of any reason why you shouldn't, especially since Alana already has her meds in apple puree. But don't quote me on that, in case I'm wrong! Rice cereal is also good for thickening other purees.

Well I just had a nightmare couple of hours at a baby group at the health clinic. Harry just kept wanting to touch and 'cuddle' the other babies (thank god there were only two) and naturally the mothers didn't want him near their babies so I spent the whole time trying to keep him from touching the other babies, not to mention the fact that he threw a toy and narrowly missed hitting one of them, frightening the poor little mite so she started screaming and I get death stares from the mother and the child health nurse telling my son he is naughty. AAARGH! I just wanted to leave but I stayed but I am not going to go back next week and have to endure that over again. I totally understand that the other mothers would be protective of their babies but it is a bit hard to restrain a 2 year old when all he was really doing was playing, so I will save everyone the grief (myself included) and just stay home.

Anyway I hope everyone else's start to the month was better than mine!
