Kirsty,Glad james eats for you now and that he is so big!!! Yup,Emily is fussy about everything....We quite often just say that she can eat whenever she wants because it is too hard to make her sit down and eat meals when she very rarely ever finishes them anyway....I havwe resigned myself to the fact that she will be like this forever,i mean she is 4 now and showing no signs of changing her habits!!!
She definitely does have that independent streak though lol and it always shows itself when we are late for something,or when she really ought to be hurrying!!!
Kathryn It is definitely a pain when they becaome a picky eater too!! Hope he starts eating his veges for you soon....School holidays finished 2 weeks ago down here, and boy was i glad....Emily starts at prekinder one afternoon a week this Tuesday,so it will be interesting to see how she goes...
im hearing you about the having lots of things going through your head this weekend,i am the same....
hope everyone is well and happy!!!

It will be interesting to see how Kameron goes with his 1 day a week as well. It is on the same grounds as playgroup, so quite often I go into the kindy building and he follows me in, but he follows me out again as well. MIght be tricky to get him to stay as I have playgroup on the same day as he does pre-entry. He starts with another little boy that he likes from playgroup so hopefully he will be okay.

Andrew and Kameron were in a car accident on Thursday night, so all the stuff going on in my head is over that, as we are still unsure whether my beloved car is going to be written off or not.

Also we have just laid down the deposit to get a pergola built, but have to submit it the plans to council first, so I don't think I am going to get our pergola up in time for the surprise 60th birthday party I am hosting on Nov 13 !! So i just hope it isn't unbearably hot or raining. At least it will be done in time for xmas

Well Emilys Prekinder classes are in the room right next door to jessicas classroom, but i dont think i have to leave her there this year,im pretty sure seeing as it only starts at 1.15 and is finished by the time school is over that we have to stay with them...
Emily goes to daycare 3 days a week though,so i know she is fine with the whole leaving mum thing, but i guess school two full days a week could be different next year,we will just have to wait and see....
Oh hun (((hugs))) Andrew and Kameron are ok?? It is a pain when someone crashes your car,i hope for your sake everything works out for the best....(i know even if they pay out on insurance for you to get a new car,it isnt going to be the same for you)
Good luck getting your pergola built!! I hope the weather is beautiful for you,and it doesnt rain....
We have a gorgeous day here today....Emily stayed at her nans again this weekend,so i imagine she would be out and playing in the backyard with Poppy and nan....
I have to go and hang some washing out shortly and take advantage of it while it lasts (it was pouring yesterday here....)
    Hope everyone is well!!

Oooh can you send your nice weather this way. It is bloody freezing here today !!

Both Kam and Andrew were okay after the accident, both did complain of a sore neck that night, but Kam was okay the next day and Andrew was still a bit sore. He seems to be okay now though.

Kameron has never done daycare, but he should be okay with being left as he knows the teachers and where everything is there pretty well and he will love finally being able to play on the kindy stuff and not get told off LMAO.

I have been forgetting to mention.

When we were away on our camping trip the other week Kameron didn't want to use a potty even though there was one available for him to use. He either did pee on the tree or used the portable toilet that a friend of ours had if he had to do other business.

Anyway when we got home I said to Andrew 'you keep Kameron amused I am going to hide the potty' he asked me why and I said 'well he hasn't used one for the last 5 days so he can keep on not using one" so I hid the potty and it took Kameron 3 goes of using the toilet before he even missed it. So I told him that Pop needed it while we were away and took it home. So he has been using the proper toilet ever since \/ No more potty now till I am ready to start training Lachlan !!

Yay that is so great kathryn!!! Emily has been using the toilet for a while now during the day,but is still in nappies of a nighttime....I plan to start taking her out of them next month,as she is continually getting drier and drier as the nights go on....She has been so behind with so many things, and TT was definitely one of them....Some people are shocked when they hear she is still in naps of a night, but they have to remember that she does know how to use the toilet and they save having wet sheets all the time!!
Em went to daycare this morning, they are having an all girl day as the little boy that goes there isnt there today,so she will enjoy that....They are going downtown this morning first and then back to her daycarers house to play....
Im glad Andrew and Kameron are ok after the car accident,it must have been stressful though...
Did you end up with our nice weather?? I sent some your way yesterday and must have sent too much because it is drab and overcast here today....
it is dp's birthday today, and i cant wait til the kids and him both get home so they can wish him a happy birthday...i just have to go shopping for a card for him now...
    hope everyone is well!!

    Hey Suzie

Yep today isn't too bad here actually, weather wise.

Kameron is still in pull ups of a night too, he was doing okay with dry nights, but then started weeing again, so has remained in them. It doesn't phase me too much. He was also a late starter with everything he did as well. My brother was still wetting the bed every night right up till he was past 5 years of age, but yeah at least he doesn't need a potty anymore.

I hope your DP has a fantastic birthday !!

Hey jillian nice to see you here!! Girls arent that bad to train,my three i never had a problem with anyway...I dont even think i had to think about how to do it lol
Now as for Dommie, there is another story,i am nervous about him growing up and having to TT him, because i just have no idea as to what age to start or what to do....Lucky my best friends all have boys!! LOL!!
I have to do the whole bribery thing with DD4 and DD6 when i am at the shop too,i suppose it works, and i dont think i have ever had to walk out with a screaming child over it,but i have over other things,so i know what you mean there!! LOL!! Emily is terrible at taking off on me,and i never know where she is going to be when i turn around...She is usuall worse when i have the elder two girls shopping too though, not sure why....
Kathryn Im glad you have some decent weather up there today,it is about to rain here, and i am not looking forward to going out in it to get Jessica from school at all....
Glad to know another child is still in pullups too,it doesnt make me feel quite as bad!!!
Thanks for the birthday wishes for dp,im sure he will have a great day once he gets home from work anyway lol
had a terrible experience yesterday,i went out for a while, and dp had the girls, (dom was in bed) and he was out the back with them and then came inside and left them out there....
Well Em decided she needed to go to the toilet so she just pulled her trousers down and went in the backyard!!!! How gross!!!! I cant believe my little lasy did something so feral!!!! I am really embarrassed and have made sure i had a wonderfully long talk to her about how she needed to come inside to go to the loo.....I am not a fan of men/boys doing it either,i guess you could say it is my pet hate,so i really dont want her doing it again!!!!

LOL suzie. I had to laugh at Em !! Kameron went through a stage of pooing in the backyard. He thought cause the dog did he could too ](*,) Thankfully it was just a stage (a long one at that).

Well at least i dont feel quite as bad now about Em doing it....Im not even sure why she did, because she didnt have an explanation for it...
I hope this was the first and last time Emily does it though!!

Does Lochie have any accidents at all Jillian ?? We had a stage not long ago where Kameron was wetting just about everyday, but generally he is pretty good. Although he did have 1 accident 2 days ago, I don't think he got up on the toilet in time, but that was the first for a while.

He is going to be 4 in 17 days

LOL,i hate to think what Em would be like with big brothers to learn stuff like that off!!!
Em sometimes has little accidents during the day,but it hasnt happened for ages now....First day of prekinder for her tomorrow afternoon,i cant believe how quickly they grow up!!!
Awww Kathryn,it is hard when you just sit down and suddenly realise how old they really are getting... ((((hugs))))
Im off to bed now, hope everyone is well!!!

Hmmm Kathryn, well I must have the exception then. Gabrielle was heaps harder to train than Zeke. She still has little accidents every now and then, and she's four and a half. Zeke, who's almost three, never has wee accidents (although he does store up his poos and do them in his nappy at night ](*,) )

Emily loved prekinder! They read a few stories and stuck some tissue paper in the right colors onto a piece of paper with a drawing of a penguin on it and had afternoon tea She enjoyed it heaps...
When does Kam go?? I know you did say,i but i cant remember anything these days #-o
Em hasnt had an accident for a few weeks now,i am hoping she has stopped them, because it is really a pain....
jessica had heaps and heaps of accidents when she started at school last year, and she was 5 by then,so im hoping em isnt the same....
    Hope everyone is well!!
