It has been a long weekend here in the west, you guys get your next weekend! I have been busy today! Sorting through school work and trying to get the study a little bit tidier but it doesn't look it. Guess I will finish it next weekend. Finally caught up on my washing (and its all folded and waiting to be put away) but it has been raining all day so the drier has had a good work out today!
Asha still only has one tooth but she is getting grizzly again so there will be more soon I guess. Her other top one first (you can see it just waiting to break through) then the bottom ones and another one at the top!!! Hopefully they are through before her party on the 19th! Have to get organised for that ... fill the gas bottle and get the sausages. I have ordered her cake and now just need to get the salads organised. Asha has been talking none stop all weekend and just babble. She loves playing peek-a-boo and when you ask her where's Asha? she pulls her shirt up over her face or covers her eyes with her hands, it is just gorgeous!!! She amazes us everyday. She learns so much and this weekend has started walking around with her walker! She is too little to walk!!! She can also stand on her own for almost a minute now and you can see her think about taking a step. Hopefully my Mum will get to see it when she is here! She arrives on the 17th for a week or so and then is off to QLD to see my Nanna & Granddad. Then she will be back when my Dad arrives on the 11th July but I don't know how things will go as Mum & Dad have just decided to seperate after 33 1/3 years of marriage! That's a whole other post though so won't go into detail here.
Kellee ... Asha eats all day!!!! and I am sure if she was awake at night she would eat all night too. She is an eating machine (just like her brother and sister) ... here is an example of what she has eaten today ...
Breakfast: Vitabrits and milk
Bottle: 1/4 formula & 3/4 milk
Snack: Biscuit (scotch finger)
Lunch: Left over Shepards Pie followed by a tin of chocolate custard & drink of water
Snack: Fresh bread & butter, biscuit (scotch finger) & drink of water
Dinner: Huge bowl of Vegies followed by Vanilla custard & water
Bottle: 1/4 formula & 3/4 milk
OINK OINK!!! And today we didn't go out or have any chips or anything so she didn't have any other snacks! Normally she pinches food from the kids or us!!
Christy - Hope your DH is feeling better soon!!! I know what it is like and it can be worse than when the kids are sick! Any teeth yet? Does Matilda walk a lot now?
Yvette ... We think she is a bit specialcould be a little biased though! Ooooo I am so excited that Asha is on your short list (sad I know) but we haven't met any other Asha's (the only other one I know is about 28). When Asha was first born and people asked her name they always thought I said Ashley and when I said "No her name is Asha" they all said it was a beautiful name and that it wasn't one they had heard of before. When I ordered Asha's birthday cake the lady said she would take a picture of the cake and add it to her photos because it was such an unusual name and so very pretty she wanted to see more people use it!!!
Michelle, I am bound to catch up with you more in the next forum as we will be there a while!!! I am off in 12 days!!! OMG it has gone way to fast and I would love for Asha to stay a baby for a bit longer! I don't think we will have another baby ... but having said that I keep changing my mind one week I say no way and the next I think well maybe one more! I am sure once Asha starts walking I will have definately made up my mind!!!
Lulu ... I don't come out of anesthetics (sp??) very well either, I cry a lot and get nasty! I had an arthroscopy on my knee when I was 17 and in recovery they asked me to stop crying because I was scaring a little girland then my Dad and brother walked across town adn when they got there I told them to **** off!!!! LOL The nurse came in and asked me if I wanted something to eat and I said no and got really upset at her when she said she would leave the food there, I told her to take it away (Mum was visiting and was so embarrassed!!) then about 30 minutes later I told mUm I was hungry and wanted her to get me some food!!! Luckily I haven't had so much trouble since!!! Glad to hear that Mitchell is better and walking around!!! I don't think Asha will be too far behind.
Hi to anyone else I may have missed. I am sure there is someone!!!
Time I was off the ocmputer but I want to check out the other forums first!! Have a good week ... back to work tomorrow and then more cleaning and tidying on my days off!!!
Cheers
