sarah we didn't have an appointment at the Dentist just walked in off the street, it was him who was early so he was able to fit us in instead of us having to go back another day. I hate running late, it stresses me out, my friends always know that I am always 10-15mins early.

Oliver is going OK with his Farex, he ate a little bit more this morning, still pulls the funny face as if he doesn't like it but I know it's only because it is a new taste, and once he gets the hang of swallowing it he will be fine. It was the 1st day back at school for Jordan today, and it was a nightmare, firstly he didn't want to get out of bed, then Oliver did a poo right as we where about to leave, then Jordan wanted to find something to take for his news, I really didn't miss the morning school rush during the holidays.

Sarah No I am not much of a bargainer, are you paying cash? If so maybe the way to ask is to say if I buy the heater and the chair how much can you do them both for cash? If it still seems a little pricey say I'll have to check with hubby start to walk out, if they don't come down again then you need to decide if you can walk back in and say you rang him and he said ok or make a slightly lower offer. That's my advice anyways.

Sharon a dentist with time to spare - my god that is amazing. I hate being late too but it peeves me when I'm on time for the dentist or doctor and they are always 15 plus minutes behind - maybe because they had to squeeze in that walk in - which I have been guilty of being with the doctor so I guess it is only a little peeved.

I usually plan to be somewhere half an hour early so that I allow for the wrangling. I really hate that when you are all ready to walk out the door and they poo, especially if it requires a complete change because it leaked. I've been out and she has done two leakers in a row and had to come home because I only had one change of clothes

Yesterday and today have been bad for us- can't seem to put DD down for more than 5 minutes at a time before she is screaming and I don't know what she wants/needs. I wanted to get so much done today without DS at my feet and I've done nothing. Maybe I should have a sleep with her when she does sleep.

Going to try to do the floors as she is sleeping now. Typing must have lulled her off.

    Afternoon ladies,

Grubi: Poor you. If Wyatt get's like that I just let him have a little cry. It isn't going to kill him, unless DS is around and can reach Wyatt.

I might have to go and give it a try, but DH wants the cash in hand and then go and buy it. Problem with that is DH never finished work before the store closes. He just being a big PIA at the moment. He wants to talk to sales person 'cos you never know the sales person might be ripping me of. (Being a woman)

Sharon: I so love living right across the road from the school. But I remember them days when DS was first born and we didn't live here, it was harder. WE also had a few clothes changed moments before we were due at school. But now I can kick DD out fron door, and watch her walk across the road and know she is safe, all the while I am still in my PJ.... DS stayed in his all day yesterday...

Anyway better go, it's feeding time at the zoo. And there are some lunch dished which need to be washed and Wyatt needs a nap. (maybe)

    Cheers
    Sarah

    HI Guys...
Im definately moving in...wrong side of the month an all...Im moving in anyway!

Grubi, we get leakers when we are out too...never at home...only when out!
BJ has a habit of doing the "heading out the door" spew....though I have a feeling its my fault...we are usually in a hurry so I grab him off the floor, fling him onto my shoulder, then its the bend to get the bag...then bend to pat the cat goodbye, then turn the alarm on and bounce down the stairs, open the door then..."PLER" spew....(Usually with a pler sounding vocalisation as well...charming I have to say!).

Sharon I can't believe your dentist had spare time...that NEVER happens to me...well...my chiro does...but then, I have a feeling he has a soft spot for our family (they bought BJ a PP outfit when he was born...mind you, he still doesn't fit into it!) and he pretty much sees us as soon as we walk in!

Well my mums group finished up last week...can't say Im disappointed really, as horrible as that sounds...I just didnt click with any of the mums there anyway and it was at 1pm...sight on bottle and bed time so best that its over!

oh and on a personal note (cause clearly its all about me!) MY SISTER MIGHT BE COMING HOME IN SEPTEMBER!
She lives in London and hasn't met BJ yet...(seen heaps of pics, and has spoken to him on the phone though) I cannot wait!!!!

Mum and dad are coming to visit tomorrow and maybe my brother too...I should go do some washing and sorting and stuff...I can finally switch BJs clothes from Newborn to 000!!!

BabyWrangler Yay, so glad you've decided to come in here. That's when Oliver usually has a chuck too, when we are in a rush LOL. My dentist doesn't usually have free time, but the patient he just finished as we walked in finished sooner than expected. Yay to your sister coming home, that will be so cool for her to finally meet BJ. Is she just coming for a holiday, or back home for good? I was actually born in London, we lived in Wimbledon till I was 3, then moved to a place called Milton Keynes, about an hour north of London, then we moved over here when I was 11. My uncle and aunt have just got back from a 2 month holiday with my Aunt who is still over there.
sarah If I didn't have to get out of the car at Jordan's school, I would always be driving him in my PJ's, there are many days when I would just love to have a PJ day, I love them, especially in winter.
alittlegrubi I hate it when Oliver has days when I can't put him down. Do you think she could be coming down with something?

Had a nice day today, went up the mountains (only 20 mins away) to a friends place, and she gave me and my BF a pedicure, with french gels, I didn't get the gels as I have an ingrown toe nail that has got infected so I have to wait and I can get that done another day. When then had pies for lunch and chocolate cake after, very tasty indeed.

BW glad to have you as a buddy. My mothers group finished 4 weeks ago, but we all organised to continue meeting, I didn't think it would happen given the diversity and it can be hard to click in those initial sessions. We have a quiet lady, a bubbly one, an older 40s mum, 2 18 year olds - one engaged one split from the father, one professional lady and myself. There was another but she stopped coming before the end of the 6 weeks - maybe she didn't feel she clicked with any of us. It is a shame that yours ended when the MCHN ends them, didn't the idea of continuing come up at all? Mind you if you weren't clicking, you might not have continued anyway. I don't see the mothers group i joined with DS, even though 3 of the 5 have their second child within months prior to DD. Another one is due in January - I see her at birthday parties as her DD goes to the same daycare as DS, but we don't arrange to meet up socially otherwise. At least you have us

Sharon Umm yes the red cheeks and conjuncting eye are an indication that she is coming down with something. Oh time for me - I am green with envy! Must organise something with my BF.

Sarah ...because sales people never rip off men

It's funny I avoid PJ days at all costs, maybe because I feel the day isn't productive if I haven't gotten dressed, or is it just my routine now - I don't know. With the weather lately I could have PJ days as we hardly venture out with the wind and rain.

Mum to Jack he may be having a growth spurt, so is wanting to eat more frequently...BJ has just had one (Im pretty sure) he used to go from 7:30pm til 2-2:30am, then all of a sudden he'd wake at 10 and 1, and 4...or 11:30 and 3, and 7 etc...then last night he was back to 2:15 and 7:30am so we'll see what tonight brings!

[B]Mum to Jack:/B] Wyatt used to do that some nights, I just did the same thing to let him know it was night time and sleep. However now he goes back from 7:30-230 which is not the same but we are working back up to 4:30am.

Sarah My mum made curtains for me and it looks like she used twice the window width. I bought tab tops for the nursery and they are 110cm wide each and it says fits window 180cm wide. Another set I recently had up on a 150cm window were 103cm wide each - so 206cm for 150cm. I'd get the twice length you want in at least 90cm wide material if you are gathering the curtains. Ready mades are usually 213cm drops for full length plus allow for hems - so probably 2.5m length = 5mtrs of material, don't know with window length - but the last lot I had were at least 125cm drops - I'd get at least 3m if you are going for window length.

MOJ Sorry to say I don't think you can make them sleep through, every baby is different.

Sharon Greer had similar rosy cheeks, complaining, slept through night ok and it appears that it is sinus related redness for us - maybe Oliver is getting a cold.

Will try to come back later, but today is my busy day and I want to make biscuits for DS's Birthday party - got templates to make them in superhero shapes.

sarah sorry I don't know anything about curtains, let alone sewing, I couldn't sew to save my life
mum to Jack there are still quite a few bubs in the same age group (and older) who don't sleep through, unfortunately those of us that have babies that do are very lucky, I hope things change for you soon though.
BabyWrangler Oliver had 1 night where he was extremely grizzly, and woke every hour from about 1am until I finally got up at 5.30am
alittlegrubi I suppose Oliver could be getting a cold, the rosie cheeks come and go. Hope you didn't get stressed today hun, the superheros biscuits sound great, I really don't like cooking/baking but that is mainly because I hate having to clean up the huge mess I make afterwards.

Oliver is sooooo close to rolling from his back onto his tummy, also when he is put down on his mat, I can go off to the kitchen, toilet or whatever and when I come back a few minutes later he has turned himself around 180 degrees or more.

Has everyone else been having problems logging in today, well, I could log in, just couldn't go anywhere on the site, it kept crashing, was driving me nuts! I was in an unusually good mood yesterday, don't know why as I had a confrontation with a friend (very long story) and I really thought I would have felt crap afterwards but I didn't, DH even went so far as to ask me if I had doubled up on my happy pills cheeky bugger!
