Hi!
Feeling much better today...Dh seems fine as well. I think he just gets it in his mind because nearly everytime I get sick he gets something as well - LOL! Kids are well also.
Dylans CRAWLING!! Omg!! He's a bit unco with it but he's definitley crawling - I can't believe it!! LIttle cheeky! He's also gone back to having 45min naps through the day...he had 3 yesterday and was so tired for bed but he slept a lot better. 2 wake ups for the dummy before midnight and then through to 5am - gave him 1 side only again and he was up at 7.20am and still had his normal feed so it's working well for us!
I've also started him on lunch now - he gobbles it all up and is really enjoying it. He looks like he's gained weight in the last week as well which is what we needed so I'm going to stick with it now. I gave him the tiniest bit of toast this morning and after pulling faces seemed to enjoy it - LOL! A bit naught I know but Louis and I were eating it and he was just looking at us almost drooling - hehe.
Kaz - Ooh he sounds sooo cute! I can't wait to meet you guys next week! It's well worth having a couple of toys in the cot now isn't it? Can give you an extra 20min in the morning of them playing while we get to stay in bed!!
K - better try and catch up on everything after having a sicky day yesterday!
-
Hi Everybody,
God it feels like ages! It seems everyone is doing pretty well we are about the same - Beau cut a tooth yesterday! he has been really super sleepy - he only lasts about half an hour at the moment without rubbing his eyes which is weird!! I find it hard to go out cause he is so whingy after a short time - has anyone else had a tired bubs with teething?
Kel- our routine sounds exactly like yours (ps lily sounds like a cack)- Beau still sleeps every 2-3 hours - once he starts rubbing his eyes I settle him. How does everyone else keep your bubs up so long?? He is serious grumpy pants if I try and string him out - I was worried about this the other day after my MIL had some choice "advice" - that I should be keeping him up later (he goes down about 6:30-7) and that he should be sleeping thru! So I called tresiallian for some reassurance...dont MIL's know the right things to say to annoy you???
Anyway I want to buy him a sleeping bag and a jolly jumper tomorrow - we are still having major wrap issues and I am back to wrapping him......oh lord! Kaz where did you get yours (bag) from?
Way to go Dylan, Beau is soo close Kris, I found him under the couch before!
Ok, better go, no rabbit tonight, pork belly instead with asian greens!!
Hi Mel and Erin too and anybody else too I missed out

Hi girlies...
We had a so-so day. Lil ended up with a fever yesterday morning after her needles the day before, at least thats what I thought it was, but it could be her teeth??? I just don't know...she was a grumpalump yesterday too. Today she's been better, but she's been a huge mummys girl which to be honest is driving me insane. She won't even let DH feed her her bottle. She woke up from her sleep earlier and DH said 'hello' and she started screaming. Little monkey.
She's started getting up on her knees and putting her bum on the air today, very cute! She does it in her cot and burys her head on the mattress and yells, silly bugger, hehehe.
Kaz, how cute are our bubbas now. I laugh so much more now than I did pre-lily! I'm jealous you guys are meeting up! It sounds great. Wish I could meet everyone too!! I hope you guys have fun.
Kristie, glad to hear you're feeling better today. As for the ticker piccy...you know how you get a picture in your head of someone but its completely different to what you expected? Well thats what happened, LOL! Not good or bad just different, IYKWIM???
I can't believe Dylan is already crawling! OMG...he's a clever chicken, WOOHOO Dylan! Lil has no idea, she still can't roll from her bely to her back yet! Well not all the time anyway :)
Jen, Hello! YAY Beau on the tooth!! Lily seems to sleep more when she cuts teeth too, actually she's been sleeping pretty well today and yesterday during the day, it's still usually only 40 mins in the day for us :(. So maybe she is getting more teeth?? Who knows, lol! I know what you mean about questioning what you're doing with their routines. Hence why I asked about everyone else...a few people have said things to me recently about Lil's routine like 'She sleeps every 2 hrs still??' and 'She still has 5 bottles??' (she actually occaisionally has 6 but I didn't say that!! And she only drinks 150mls at a time when it should be 200or more so all up she gets what she should be) and I started worrying I was doing something wrong. I should know better but...you know!! I know my baby and she's healthy and happy so I should just do what I'm doing! Same goes to you too, hehe. You know what Beau needs, so take others advice with a grain of salt :D .
Oh well that's it for now. Sleep vibes to all.
Hello to all of you who I have missed :)
-
Kel - in my MG we have a couple of bubs who are still taking the booby 7 or 8 feeds / day AND solids ... then there's Pip with his bottle on 4 feeds (sometimes 5) and that's without solids - horses for courses I say.
Jen - my "sprout" one is from Myer, I love it. Also great in the pram and bjorn too!
Munchkin is grumpybum at the mo, I think there's another tooth coming through. I want to return to just putting him in bed and him sleeping! But he's asleep now, so I'm going to the land of nod too.
Dream pretty!
-
Hi everyone,
I just feel so bad... I was clipping Olivias finger nails, when I got to the last little pinky. I was just pushing down on the clipper and she moved....then screamed:( I missed her nail completely, she has a cut on her little pinky and its a bit purple. Luckily I didnt take a chunk out. I had to feed her to calm her down and now shes asleep. GGGGRRRRRR. It was the last nail. I am sure she'll be alright, just frightened the daylights out of me.
Hope you all have a lovely day,
Love melissa
-
Oh Mel, poor you. She'll be fine, I think you just need to think about taking a lovely walk in this gorgeous weather and enjoy your day.
-
Hi!
Had a full on day yesterday with 2 parties!! Did really well though so that was good!! Dh and the kids came with me to the first as it was a friends...they both were such good boys - it was such a big arvo as well!!
We're all out of wack with daylight savings - grr - Like we need to lose an hour! But at least it will be darker in the mornings now!!
Dylans been only having 45min naps so I just had let him cry for a bit and he seems to have gone back to sleep again...hopefully!
I'm still quite sick which I'm not happy about...just really nauseous all the time...might have to head to the dr's tomorrow.
Jen - Yeah on Beau getting a tooth!! Maybe he's going through a growth spurt or something?? I'm sure he'll start staying up longer when he's ready! Oh god...mothers or mother in laws and their advice - when will they learn?? LOL! I've chosen not to listen! hehe. Especially my mums! hehe. Dylan only stays up 2 - 2 1/2 hours mostly. Except sometimes for the arvo when he might be up 3 or more...depends on whether he'll go down for that last nap...
Kel - Hope LIly's feeling better! I think now's the time for seperation anxiety!!! I know if Dylan doesn't feel comfortable with someone he has a big cry! In saying that he' s mostly happy with dh though which is good! Well, except for in the middle of the night anyway!
Some babies are just not rollers though! Louis never did...She'll do it when she's ready! Louis started crawling at about 7 1/2 - 8 months...
Kaz - Hope you had a good nights sleep!!
Melissa - Big hugs!! Dh did that once to Louis! I'm sure she'll be fine!! It's so easy to happen when they've got such little fingers...
I suppose I better try and get organised - oh grr- there goes Dylan...little bugger...
Chat later!
-
OMG we had an horrific day!!!!!!!! Lily has been queen koala, stuck to me like glue! I couldn't put her down she wouldn't eat or drink ...nothing!!! I am going insane! In her defence she is teething again, but ugh! I am absolutely buggered. Even after some panadol she's was still sooky. DH tried to do what he could but she would only stay with him for a few minutes and then she'd start again. She's had only four bottles today and about three spoons full of food. She wouldn't let me sit or stand in one spot for long before whinging she's been soooo exhausting. We went on two walks just so I didn't have to carry her around and to try to get her to sleep. Thankfully she's in bed now, hopefully not too many wake ups. Last night we had 4, and a 5.30 wake up. I'm hoping daylight savings might stop the 5am starts to the day! Anyway just a whinge from me today :) hope everyone had a better day than us!
-
Big hugs Kel - I hope she sleeps well for you tonight and settles down a little tomorrow! I would be frustrated also!! It's hard when they're like that.
I had to cuddle Dylan to sleep tonight which I haven't done in ages. I think the kids are a bit out of whack with daylight savings and it's also quite warm in the house. Dylans such a sweaty baby that I think it's probably bothering him a bit!
Have felt sick all day but a bit better tonight...
Dylans been so cheeky today - crawling around and then I find him down the hallway just sitting up playing - he's really worked out how to go from crawling to sitting which is good. He's really stable now so i don't have to worry about putting the pillows behind him anymore!
It's so gorgeous - Louis and Dylan were at the dinner table and they Dylan squeals at him so he copies back and they both end up laughing at each other - so beautiful! I so hope they grow up good buddies!
Chat later!
-
Kris, sorry to hear that you're still not feling very good, sounds like a good idea to go to the Dr.
Thanks for the sympathy, but so far we're not having much luck... she woke up again at about 8.30 and I have just resettled her for the fourth time each time taking about 20-30 mins, this time after a bottle and some nurofen :( It's gonna be a loooong night I think. It's warm in our place too being on the top floor, and she's a hot and sweaty bub too, but she's not usually bothered by it, and I have the fan on in there. She's just sooo unsettled
AAAARRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGG there she goes again..................I'm going to go batty
-
Hi!
Kel - How did you go?? Sometimes it's easier just bringing them into bed with you although that doesn't always work either...
We had an ok night...the best part? The kids sleeping in until 7.45am!!! (would have been 6.45 normally!) LOL! Woohoo - gotta love daylight savings for that!!
-
hey Kel, hope things went better for you overnight.
Kristie, are you going to the doctors today??? I hope you're feeling better....wow on Dylan crawling around and sitting up, what a clever little monkey.
Olivias finger is fine. I just felt so terrible though. Shes back sleeping well, although daylight savings has meant shes been going down at 10pm...hopefully it will get earlier. I am not too sure how it works for bubs. Shes rolling freely both ways now and is trying her hardest to crawl, although most of the time she ends up going backwards!!! I can feel her teeth down the bottom, but I dont think they will cut soon, but you never know. Shes not constipated anymore, now her poos are a bit runny. Other than that shes fine. She'll be 7 months on Thursday, where does time go????
Better run and enjoy the sunshine
Take care...
Love Melissa
-
Hey Ya'll,
Couldnt sleep last night as Dh is away again...got to sleep at 11 and bubs woke up not long after then was unsettled in with me till 6...GGRRR....although six in the clock looks better than 5...
Mel - dont worry i sliced a little bit off Beaus finger once too - not much but it seemed to bleed so much! I know how you feel...
Kel - god I hop Lil cuts them soon and gives you some rest...
Kaz - I must see this bag! It goes in the bjorn???
Kris - go Dylan sitting up and crawling- what a star! Are his sleeps any better now you have him unwrapped?
We just got two ceiling fans installed - one in bubs room and ours - our AC is broken at the moment - did I say it leaked into our tv and now they are both stuffed?
DH went to drill inyo our archway to put the jumper up yday but it is a metal archbar!! Have to wait another week until he can put a bolt into a truss in the ceiling...bubs had a test run in our bedroom door way and he loved it!
Oh and my other exciting news is that DH has bought me a surprise weekend away on the gold coast at a spa in a week or so - I leave on the friday at lunch time and come back sunday night...cant wait! It makes us sound filthy rich but I just finished counting up the coins in the coin jar to cash in tomorrow!! I am soooo broke! But I had a big spend on the weekend at an awesome homewares sale and bought just what I needed! Cushions!!! Like a hole in the head...
-
Hello ladies :D
Wow Kris, that's amazing that he's crawling and sitting!!!!
Mel - it can't be 7 months already, can it? WOW.
Jen - I've put a photo of our sleeping bag thingy into my gallery - its by brand "sprout" and cause its got the hole for safety straps (in a car seat) that just feeds through too. (I've just counted out the piggybank for nappies! thank god wednesday is payday)
Well, the pharmacy didn't mind $5 in 20c pieces ... and Safeway took my $17.80 in 20's too
-
Hey there...
Kaz - a sister in schrapnel alright! I just looked at the new nappies DH bought before he went away and they are infant! Sob! I hope we dont have any explosive poos!
Another crap night around here - he was awake at 7:30, 8:30, 10:30,12,1:30, a bit after I lost count - and up for the day at 6....I hope its teeth cause I cant deal with this much longer! Admittedly one or two of those times was the wrap - I got one of the velcro ones hoping that I might be able to stage him out of it cause his hands can wiggle but he is too strong for it altogther!
As I type he has rolled over in his cot with his arms under wraps - kicking the bars with his feet... AHHHHH!!!!!!
-
Jen I can sympathise with the wake ups...we've had a bad few days too. Lily has decided that 10.30 is a good time to go to bad and then it's fun to wake up every hour....Thankfully DH has been home and has been helping so it hasn't been too bad for me, but he goes back to work tomorrow so I hope she sorts herself out....
-
Morning ladies :D
Mel & Kris - are you still on for Wednesday? Earthly pleasures, and you guys pick the time.
Jen - the pharmacy only had infant too, I hope they're OK (he was weighed at 7790g on Monday last week....)
Kel - *hugs* and good luck with sleeping longer than an hour ....
Well today I'm off to the movies (free ticket from joining Cameo cinema) and then off to Story Time. Maybe see if my hairdresser does up-styles for the wedding.
Pip is rolling around the lounge room at the moment, I just had to pull my shoes out of his reach. Drat it!
Have a good day ladies (its a cracker of a day here!)
-
Hey All,
Just been swimming and we were the only ones there today. Olivia has got so good at closing her eyes befor she is dipped in. Shes also starting to blow a few bubbles...its so cute.
Kaz I am up for tomorrow, I think we said 1130am, but I havent heard from Kris for a while I know she has been sick..... hope shes ok.
Jen and Kel, wishing you some good sleep. I hope its the teeth and they come through very quickly.
Well I have organised Olivias first sleep over on 17th of November. DF and I have a bucks/hens night. I dont know if I am more nervous about leaving her overnight or leaving her with my dad!!!! I suppose he has had 8 children, so should know a thing or two, but my youngest brother is almost 15!!! I might have to give him a trial run. My mum works on Sundays at 6am, so she cant do it, luckily they live 5 minutes from each other, then dad can call her if he needs too.
Anyway will pop back in later to see if Kristie is around.
Have a great day,
Love melissa
-
Hi girls,
Well, we had a better night last night, only 3 wakes ups, I think......and a 7am start to the day. I guess the good thing about Lil going to bed at 10 or so is that she wakes up later....but I still wish she'd go down earlier. I get no time to relax if she goes down so late!! She's been better today, though has still been a grizzle bear from time to time. Those toothy pegs had better pop out soon!!
Glad to hear most of you are having a good day!
-
Hi girls,
Havent been around for a while. Phoebe has kept me mega busy and exhausted. I had my wisdoms out last week so I look like a blowfish thats gone a couple of rounds with mike tyson and could give anyone in hollywood a run for their money for pouty oversized lips- watch out angelina!
Phoebe has changed so much in the last few weeks, even her cry has changed. She has slowly driven me insane with her clingyness, she wont even sleep in her cot these last few nights(the storms havent helped either). Im almost at my wits ends with her. Im hoping that its just her teeth and that they will come through soon. It wont be long before she will be able to sit by herself.
I know what you mean about the penny pinching. I was so ashamed the other day of having to borrow money off my mother just so I could buy formula for Phoebe. I hate it when we get a bit of money behind us and steve goes out and buys something trivial but damn expensive-like the $500 camera he got a week and a half ago. We have hardly any food in the house, I'm walking around in clothes that could be classed as rags. He just doesnt think! Anyway thats my whinge lol
Must go, she has just realised where she is lol and is not happy bout it!
Have fun on the get together girls xoxox
-
Are we stil on for tomorrow? Havent heard from Kristie...hope shes ok.
Hope everyone is well too
Melissa
-
Hi!!!
Sorry I haven't been on - I've been busy trying to catch up on everything since I've been sick!! I'm feeling much better - didn't end up going to the dr's but started to feel better yesterday arvo anyway. Dh is feeling better today as well so it was definitely some sort of bug.
Yep - I'm on for tomorrow!! Shall we say 11am?? Dylan will be due for a feed then so thats ok...
Sorry, I don't have time to catch up properly - Hopefully I will soon!!
See you tomorrow ladies!! Look out for me cos I don't know what you look like!! hehe. Oh by the way - my mobile is 0438 539 435 so just text or call me if there's any problems!!
-
Hey good to hear you're ok kristie. have a look at my link and you'll know what i look like too.
Earthly Pleasures... is that on Burwood hwy??? I have no idea but I will see you at 11am
Melissa
-
Earthly pleasures is on the burwood highway, behind Safeway. There's parking at the back (behind safeway) - its an old bluestone building.
11am is fine. 0438 889 893 for me :D
see you then!
-
Cool see you then, will be wearing my fav brown billabong jumper as seen in my link....lol. I so need to go shopping for some new clothes!
-
I'll have a red P&T pram :D
-
Hehe - I'm wearing billabong as well - but it's a grey hoodie! Oh and I'll be the one with 2 baby boys! LOL!
-
HI Everybody,
Hope you guys enjoy yr catch up today -
I have very red swollen eyes to match your lips tiffany (wisdon teeth yucko!)
I am hanging on by a tenuous thread - he was up every 45min last night....he wakes up wrapped, unwrapped I am about to loose my mind!
-
*hugs* to Jen. We have another tooth coming through, I feel your pain. Can you just wrap his body without the arms?
Tiffany - poor you with the clinging! DF complains that Pip is clingy to me, but I put that down to DF not doing what I tell him - eg to hold Pip like this and he'll sleep. Good luck with the teeth.
Well we had hot drinks, warm muffins and then moved onto wedges ... very yummy organic cafe - the wedges were scrummmmy! Then down to the grass for a bit of a roll around.
Dylan is so cute! He pulls himself up in his pram holding onto Louis' toddler seat!
And Olivia is gorgeous, such a pretty face and so engaging - she was playing with Louis heaps!
-
mmm...body not the problem unfortunately, he can settle thrashing his legs around but its the arms the arms! My mum and her husband are here to "help" cause DH is away - I just went to get the washing in and found my SD asleep with Beau crawling near the dog bowl...now I have to go and make dinner for them - cant they remember what it was like??
Sorry for rant - glad you had a nice day - I would give anything to meet you guys!
-
Hmmm.
Maybe try this ... lie B on a wrap centred along the long side and then fold the wrap over his arms only, and tuck under his body. One my g/f at mothers' group does this ... it unwraps if he rolls over though. She does another wrap over his body like normal then ...
Does B sleep on his tummy or back?
-
OH Jen I hear ya on the arms! We dont wrap Phoebe, but we have to "tie" her arms up just to get her to go to sleep. Thats half my troubles with her at the mo, she knocks her dummy out and them crys for and its around every hour or so. I spat the dummy at her teddy bear (it was the closest thing to scream into) at 4am this morning as I had had no sleep and she was wide awake after her bottle and wouldnt go back off to sleep.
-
Hugs to Jen and Tiffanny. Hope everything settles very soon.
I had a great day today, food was great, company was even better, was a pleasure to meet you. Hope Pips other tooth comes through quickly and painlessly.
thankfully Olivia slept all the way home, I popped her on my bed and i lay there with her....next thing I know it was 5pm. I love nana naps:)
Take care all,
Love melissa
-
Well we have finally gone back to normal...no more devil baby! No new teeth though :(. And Lily slept til 6.30 too, woohoo!
Hugs to all of you having a tough time. I hope things sort themselves out for you.
-
Phoebe has had what I thought was a heat rash the last couple of days but this morning it was all over her. I finally got a dr's appoinment and she has a form of the measles which explains alot of her behaviour over the last week or so. The dr said there isn't alot I can do, which doesn't make me feel any better when she is screaming her heart out. Just have to try and keep her fluids up-she doesn't want to drink coz she has an inflammed throat, and keep an eye on her temp.
Any comments/advice on what I can do to make her more comfy would be warmly appreciated. I just dont know what to do.
-
Oh TIffanny! You poor thing - and poor Phoebe too. I have no suggestions, but to keep giving her your love.
-
Hi!
Sorry I've been missing....just with being sick and everything I'm so unorganised...house is finally tidy but bedroom is a pigsty still and I desperately need to do some washing!! I was planning on doing that today but by the time we were out in the morning with gymbaroo and then I ended up having visitors all afternoon I had another day of not much! LOL!
Boys are good..Dylans crawling around everywhere and being lots of fun. We've been making each other laugh lots and him and Louis have been having lots of giggles as well which is gorgeous!!
Hmmm...if his sleep gets better (which doesn't look like anytime soon! LOl!) I think I may start feeling a big clucky again!! hehe. It really is such a gorgeous age though!!
Ok - I'll try and catch up!
Kaz - Was great to meet you guys on Wednesday!! I had a great time! Little Patrick is sooo gorgeous - what a cheeky big smile he has!! Was a gorgeous place there too!
Melissa - It was great to meet you as well!! Little Olivia is jus gorgeous!! Her and Louis has such nice cuddles! Hehe.
Yeah for the nap after you got home!! Louis and Dylan slept all the way home as well. I had to go and do food shopping - grrr. Dh and I fell asleep on the couch last night though!! I havent' done that in ages!!
Jen - Big hugs...I hope you're getting a bit better sleep!! I'm not too far behind you - I think most nights Dylans up around every 2 hours and lately he's been feeding at around 1-2am again...grrr. I just can't feed him any more solids - he already eats heaps - and I'm giving him 5 milk feeds...grrrr.
Geez - sounds like you've got more work to do with your mum being there!! Some bubbas are just horror sleepers...louis was the same - took him until 9 months before he started sleeping for longer stretches.
Maybe you could consider going to sleep school?? I've been thinking about it with Dylan...
Tiffanny - Big hugs as well...it really is hard when they wake up so much. I had Dylan waking up earlier and I went in and he's even got his dummy in! I'm not sure what he wanted me to do because I don't wrap him...hehe. Just gave him a pat...He's been up every 45min tonight since he went to bed...I hope he settles down soon...
There's nothing worse than a bubba not going back to sleep after a feed!!! It's like the one things thats meant to work all the time! LOL!
OMG - Just read your last post - the poor little thing having measles!! I hope she gets better soon. I'm sorry I'm not sure what you can do...
I heard if they're waking for the dummy it can be a good idea to put a few in the cot and they're more likely to be able to find it on they're own!! Haven't tried it yet but I probably will soon!!
Kel - Yeah on Lily sleeping well for you! I hope she keeps it up!!
K - I'm off to bed - I'm sooo tired!! Chat later!
-
Hi GUys,
Bit better last night and DH is back so he got up to feed bubs at 11, he was up for an hour with him! Oh well they got to re-bond and I got a little rest...
I will try that wrap Kaz, I am desperate to get him out of it, I bought a massive muslin fish lilly one today and that lets him get his wrapped hands to his mouth without freeing them so it might be step 1....I think B likes to sleep on his side now and that is the prob cause he wakes himself on his fat tum...
He is 9.1kg and 72cm long!!!
A friend with a tiny 2month little girl came over for cups of t today and she was TINY in comparison!
Tiffany - gosh, poor bubba! At least you have a reason for the wake-ups now, the only suggeation I have is give Phoebe a nice coolish bath and let her suck on a flannel - she might get some fluids that way?
Mel - love nanna naps! Bring em on!
Kel - glad the beezlebub has just turned back into bub for you he he...
Kris- I know I have been thinking about sleep school but I called tresillian the other day and she (the midwife) seemed to think I was on the right track!! I know what you mean about the solids! Beau would eat everything I give him - I still maximum give him 2 tablespoons tho - when does that increase? Gradually? I have gone back to putting some farex in tho to try and give it a bit more substance -he is a veggie boy tho which is nice - I have also given him some full fat yoghurt which he LOVES...
OK I am going to have a tim tam and watch sex and the city for a treat
xx
-
Greets Kris / Sam / Everyone!
Well we thought we'd go to Peter Garret today (as our mothers' group was cancelled) and Pip screeched through the speeches. So I didn't hear much.
Jen - how huge! And the little girl would be tiny!
Hey when you give the bubs a cool flannel to suck on, how do you clean them ?
Kris - it was so lovely to meet you, glad your house is back in order.
Anyhows, I'm off to try to wash Pip's clothing before we totally run out :D
!
-
Hello Ladies,
Tiffany, I'm sorry to hear Pheobe is sick, poor little monkey. Maybe try giving her cold water to drink, with an icecube in it, it might soothe her throat a bit? I hope she feels better soon. At least you know why she's been a porkchop lately!!
Kris, I've been really disorganised lately too, though the last few days have sorted me out! As for the dummy theory, I tried it the other day as Lil was waking every 45mins and one time I went in there and she had a dummy in both hands and was crying!! As soon as I picked her up and snuggled she stopped crying, shut her eyes and was happy. So for us, I don't think it's the dum, it's me! Very nice to feel so needed, very annoying to be so nedded, hehehe! I hope Dylan sorts himself out soon...
Jen, you poor chicken! Maybe sleep school is a good idea. I have been thinking about trying to get rid of the dummy and rocking to sleep here. I don't know how well I'll go with listening to her cry though, cause I know that's what will happen...not sure what to do, I guess I'll get to the end of my tether one day and decide one way or another! I hope Beau settles for you.
Lily is on two solids meals a day now. She loves her solids now and seems to have gotten the concept of eating really well after a rocky start!! I made up some mixed veggies with a little chicken in it the other day, but we are yet to have any. She eats about 3-4 tbsp each meal now. For breakky, she has fruit with a bit of weetbix & formula mixed in and dinner is mixed veggies. The farex seems to make her constipated, so I don't give it to her anymore.
Well, I have been good and Lily and I have an understanding the past week or so of what her routine should be, LOL! She has a power nap at about 8ish, then she eats breakky, we get dressed, and go to the gym. She sleeps on the way home at about 10.30ish and I go to the shops if I need to. She then has a longer sleep at about 12.30-1ish, usually about 1 1/2 hrs, when I clean/eat/study. She is then up til about 4.30ish and is very excited/animated at this time! Another cat nap, then dinner. Naked play time and bath time at 6.30/7, massage, bottle and bed by no later than 8pm. She usually wakes at 12-1am for a feed, then up at 6-6.30 lately. I quite like this routine, and I hoe she doesn't change it too much!
Ok that's it, hi to everyone else, I hope all is well.
